Cortijo Las Piñas

A great rural setting but just a stones throw away from amazing beaches - plenty to do within a few minutes drive

We loved our stay here! Found it by chance, we just wished we could have stayed longer! The hotel has a lovely huge garden and a swimming pool area with enough sunbeds and umbrella to be comfortable even if there were more guests. We had it all for ourselves that day though, which was lovely! Paying a bit more for the room with pool view was, in my opinion, worth it! The apartment is very spacious as well as the kitchen area. The reception is open until 9pm and you can buy some drinks from there. The area around the hotel was so beautiful, the dunes, Tarifa and the beach there were lovely. It is worth noting that you need a car and the closest supermarket is 10/15 minutes drive, so you are quite isolated. Not a problem for us though! Also, I don't really like when the pillow of the bed is that long thin one, would be great to also have more standard pillows options.

Amazing place, located in the country side. The room was clean and beautiful, it's a rural building quite old, but the bathroom and the room is perfect and well equipped. The staff is friendly and kind, there is a cafeteria, where you can have breakfast and buy drinks (the breakfast isn't included in the price of the room). I reccomend it!

The studio was very well equipped, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed and plenty of pillows, little kitchenette was very convenient. the layout of the cortijo is very good and usable, it has a lot of character. good car parking ! lovely pool area, overall well kept and excellently situated for exploring this province, close enough to mainroad but no traffic noise or pollution.Close enough to Tarifa and all the beaches. Nice setup and surroundings.The ONLY negative point we noticed, is they are NOT recycling rubbish and rubbish, guests are encouraged to dump all waste in 1 trashcan and all is dumped in a general large bin that is then picked up early in the morning .

Much nicer than expected. Hosts were a delight. Blissfully silent and dark at night.

We booked this for our first night away with our son, born only 12 days ago. We love Tarifa and luckily only live an hour away.|We normally go camping down the road but I found this online and thought to give it a go.|We were pleasantly surprised. We were given a little apartment on its own facing the mountains. It wasn't luxury but we did not expect it and we prefer somewhere with a little character. Very clean apartment, clean bathroom, a little kitchen with everything needed to make a basic meal. I made dinner and breakfast. In the morning we found outside our door some rabbits and chickens in an enclosure. Overall very comfortable sweet little place. We would book again 👍

Reception very efficient, free good parking, very impressed with the studios, very clean, good equipped little kitchenette, lovely comfortable beds, towels and linnen clean . includes little sunny terrace to enjoy for a drink or a selfcatered meal. pool area grassed, plenty of space to sit and read a book, staff helpful. excellently positioned for beach walks etc..just a lovely area we have been twice now and will be back soon again !!

A relaxing place to stay near the beach a few kilometres west of Tarifa. The rooms are quite large with a small kitchen with all the basic appliances and a fairly large bathroom. The room is large enough to stay indoors but you also get a table and chairs in the patio and there is a small bar on the premises if you want to socialize a little. The beach is within walking distance (although if you have small children it might advisable to drive, especially in the summer when the sun is very strong, there is a parking by the beach) - it is worth visiting even for those who don't like to swim or sunbath - you can always watch kite-surfers. Naturally, if you are too lazy to go to the beach, you can watch them from the swimming-pool ;)
