Beautiful house, nice patio to have dinner al fresco, and quite convenient swimming pool. House was clean, kitchen OK with everything we needed and rooms big. Location is very good, very close to Cazorla, but being in the middle of olive trees, it is a very quite place, the sky in the night is amazing, full of stars. Owners are quite friendly. Access to the house is well indicated and the path is OK.

Well catered for self contained accommodation with delightful garden and shade and a lovely refreshing pool for cooling off. We stayed in the larger accommodation and there was everything we could wish for from coffee to washing machine - plenty of room for everyone and each bedroom had its own bathroom, so great for the family. We were staying for a family event in the town and this was perfect for our needs. Great hosts, we were due to arrive late in the evening and they kindly gathered provisions for our visit (including two lovely bottles of wine) so we landed and were able to cater for ourselves immediately (there is also an excellent supermercado just down the road). Added bonus for us was the dogs on site, we miss our dogs when away so it was nice to have their company! Would not hesitate to recommend and return. Carzola is only a few minutes away and this is also right on the doorstep of the natural park which is stunning

Deborah and I have been wanting to do our European Tour for many years. Having belted through France, crossed the Pyrenees, we arrived in the most beautiful part of Spain we've ever seen. The mountainous region of Corzola is a must if you're travelling through or staying on. Surrounded by olive groves as far as you can see , the old farm house has been tastefully converted by Roger & Di Birch with very flexible accomodation with adjoining door for those needing more than one room. ||Di & Roger have created a very homely atmosphere with their dogs and pretty gardens beckoning you to the cooling pool and sun terraces overlooking the mountains and stunning sunsets. ||The small town of Corzola is classic old Spain with a stunning Castle perched above, and vibrant squares with cafés and tapas bars to enjoy. ||A short drive through town takes you to the top of the mountain at 1300 metres where we enjoyed a picnic overlooking the majestic vultures soaring around us. A birdwatchers paradise with wild flowers and pink peonies too.||We thoroughly recommend this homely retreat and look forward to our return.

We spent three days here in August. The apartment (La Higuera) was great, with a good kitchen and lovely comfortable bedrooms with really nice en-suite bathrooms. There were easy chairs in the kitchen - no separate living room which wasn't a problem at all as the garden was beautiful, with various places to sit amongst the vines and fig trees. Our teenagers loved the swimming pool which is a good size and deep enough to dive in which was a big bonus! There is a sun terrace above the swimming pool with views out over the olive groves, and plenty of sunbeds. Roger and Diana were really kind and friendly hosts; they seemed to really want us to get the most out of our stay and lent us maps and local knowledge so we had some great trips in our limited time. Although the weather was very hot, the lack of airconditioning was really not a problem at all.

Cortijo Los Abedules is a beautiful restored farmhouse with 3 appartments, a large garden, a very nice and big swimmingpool and a sunterrace. The appartment we rented was clean, good sized, had a good kitchen and bathroom and a comfortable bed.||||The cortijo is just outside Cazorla and the Natural Park Cazorla, Segura y las Villas. The park is beautiful to visit and for walking. Historical towns (Ubeda, Baeza) are within easy distance. Nearby the cortijo is a large Mercadona supermarket.||||The hosts, Roger and Diana Birch make you feel very welcome and they know a lot of the area, had suggestions for hiking etc. Visit the website of Cortijo Los Abedules, it gives you a lot of information.||||We highly recommend this rural retreat!

These apartments are very close to the wonderful cazorla natural park , situated in olive groves . The apartment was very comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The gardens and pool are a particular feature . The garden is beautiful with cool shady areas to relax in and the pool is gorgeous. There is lots to see and do in the area and the friendly knowledgable owners will point you in the right direction. All in all a brilliant place to stay.

We had such a fantastic holiday at Los Abedules this summer. The apartment was cosy, comfortable and had plenty of room. It was so well equipped it really was like a home away from home. Everything we could have needed was there and the hosts were so obliging and helpful if we needed anything else. The use of the washing machine a real plus with the children!||||My children are tiny - two under two - so the position of the pool made it feel very safe as it is pretty much enclosed in its own area. It is a stunning pool and the terrace is perfect for relaxing and the gardens provided some welcome shade for breakfast.||||In fact, we were so happy at the apartment we almost forgot to visit Cazorla! But of course we couldn't miss out on the famous tapas and Spanish traditional nightlife and made a few excursions to see some of the town and really should have made more as its a wonderful place but we were so happy in the Cortijo that we'll put that on ice for the next trip!||||Thanks to the Birches so much for such a wonderful holiday and being the hosts with the most....We'll be back!

Cortijo Los Abedules is in beautiful location, literally in the middle of an olive grove. Whilst not being in Cazorla itself,it's only about 10 minutes away by car and there's supermarket 5 minutes away, so it's in a good location.|| We stayed in the appartment El Olivo, which is a really good size and right next to the pool. The appartment is well equipped, youve got every possible kitchen utensil there so you really don't need to bring anything from home. There isn't an oven but a good stove and microwave (with grilling option). It's really cosy, I went with my husband and two small boys and it did feel like a home from home. ||The pool is really clean and a good size and the garden is really pretty almost like a mini botanical garden with a well.||Roger and Diana are really friendly and are always at hand if you need anything, but at the same time they really do respect your privacy.||We went in August which was perhaps a bit too hot, but the appartment is equipped with a ceiling fan and another fan in the bedroom, so it was bearable.||I would definitely recommend this place.
