This is one of those places that just over the top fun. The servers are all dancing singing yelling and having fun. The place is large and full of all sorts of interesting things to look at. There's a really fun area for just doing video machines and all that kind of stuff. We all enjoyed our food. Particularly, the milkshakes were amazing.

Excited to try this diner we went for lunch on New Year’s Day. The staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent service. The diner was definitely busy and we had about a 20 minute wait for a table. The food was average and honestly, kind of a let down with all the great reviews. I had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and it was above average. The rest of my party had the Rubin, and chicken and waffles and those were said to be average. Onion ring appetizer was just okay. The chocolate milkshake was delicious. Atmosphere is fun and the game room looked like a lot of fun although we didn’t play.

We visited the Corvette Diner last night, and wow, it was a party! 🎈 With a group of nine, we were thrilled to be let in immediately without any wait. The staff was amazing and super accommodating to our large party, making it the perfect place for our little nieces to run wild. When we accidentally spilled a drink, they handled it like pros and were incredibly nice about it! 😊 Next up, the milkshakes! 🍦 We ordered a wide array, and our absolute favorite was the peanut butter Oreo milkshake. We even got to combine two shakes, and let me tell you, it was delicious! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Now, onto the burgers! 🍔 We tried everything from the classic original burger (which was fantastic!) to the Breakfast at Tiffany’s burger served with waffle fries—so yummy! The Macho Nacho Burger was simply amazing, and we also sampled a variety of different sandwiches. One of the highlights was the BLAST sandwich (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, Swiss, Tomato)—it was REALLY GOOD! 😍 The atmosphere was lively, and we loved that we could request our favorite silly 50s songs from the DJ! 🎶 We even introduced him to some tunes he hadn’t heard before. If you're there, make sure to request “Seven Little Girls Sitting in the Backseat” by Paul Evans—it’s guaranteed to make everyone smile! 😄 Overall, we had a fantastic time at the Corvette Diner. It was a fun cultural experience for the family. I highly recommend it—10 out of 10! 🌟

This place was fantastic! The atmosphere was so fun, lively, all the decor is awesome. Just know, you have to expect a lot of noise and excitement at this place, it is certainly not a chill spot after a long day, ha. The whole point is to entertain and be a really cool experience. They seriously go all out with their energy at this restaurant, I really give it to the servers that are putting in all that energy and effort to make it a unique and fun experience. The menu has so many selections, the shakes are so cool, and the food was PHENOMENAL. I got the garden veggie sandwich and my boyfriend got the Kookie burger. We loved it. Our server Fletcher was truly the best, he got so into his character and was so funny. Andy the balloon guy is also awesome. Both deserve raises!!

Really cool 1950’s style diner with awesome milkshakes and good burgers and fries. They have a large menu and the restaurant is themed with all kinds of cool props and lighting.

We stopped by while on vacation in San Diego & we loved this spot. The retro design & décor of the restaurant side is a lot of fun, and there is so much to look at. We really liked the groovy 70's black light area we were seated for lunch. The menus are huge! There are a lot of options to select from. We all enjoyed the food & drinks we ordered. The prices were fair & the portions were large. We didn't get to try the desserts as we were stuffed after our meal. The staff sing & dance during certain songs and they sang happy birthday to several people so there is plenty of entertainment while you eat. The other half of the building has a ton of arcade games & prize area. Along the hallway leading to the arcade area you'll find a old school phone booth, some coin tattoo & trinket machines plus a photo booth. This spot is a lot of fun, especially for kids. I am sure we will be back again the next time we visit San Diego.

If you don't like loud places this place isn't for you. I love coming here, the spiked milkshakes are a treat and the waitresses are so funny and silly. I love the atmosphere and the aesthetics. I love the dinosaur nugget appetizers, basically buffalo wings, but with a cooler name. Definitely stop by here if you're into the 50's or pinup stuff. They also got an arcade in the back.

So much fun! Enjoyed New Year’s Day PJ party. Food was decent. Songs and staff dancing fun best part was smile on my kids face while playing video games.

Yelp
ambience super cool. goodness guarantee on the peanut butter burger, I had which was really good by the way

Yelp
Friday evening 7pm The place is busy! But organized if that makes sense. You walk in and absolutely feel like you walked into an 80's dinner. We were sat in the room that dark and glow in the dark. I personally wasn't a fan of this room and rather have sat in the diner type rooms. The wait staff had big hair and crazy wigs. Their energy was top notch. Definitely in character. They had Someone walking around taking pictures of tables and a ballon animal guy walking around. The food was okay. Nothing I would jump up and down about. I order the Ruben and fries. My friend had their shrimp and spinach salad. We both really enjoyed it. The kids had the spaghetti and the burger. Decent port of food for the kids which was nice. The milkshakes are gigantic and definitely make sure you get one to share with the table. All in all... if I were in the San Diego and looking for a kid friendly restaurant that was entertaining and the food was tasty. I would add this to your list of places to try. MOM APPROVED. ( we didn't have time for the arcade but looked nice)

Yelp
This restaurant is really difficult to rate. The place is so cute!! They have great photo opps and you just feel like you traveled in time. They have an insanely extensive menu, so many options, it was a little overwhelming. Servers are really nice and friendly! They dance from time to time and they look like they're having fun! The milkshakes are absolutely delicious!!! The downside for me was the food, is really good comfort food, but not the best quality and very pricey!!!! The arcade looks like a lot of fun! We didn't try it since it was very crowded.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, especially since by all accounts it was everything that I love put together. However, there were issues which prevented me from fully enjoying my visit. The menu is very fun, and matches all of the themes they have going on. Seating was comfortable and the dining area was lit just well enough to have a faux smoky atmosphere. The BLAST itself was a good sandwich, but the bread served was too much to truly enjoy it. I do wish the bread sizes were smaller as it seemed to take away from overall enjoying the meal. The other sandwich, which was a California, was very tasty and I would not change it aside from being provided with a cutting knife since it too is very large. The kids size shakes at the end were perfect, and I recommend them due to both the pricing and the portion sizes used. Major issues I experienced were concerning the staff, the food, and the dining experience. Drink refills seemed to be ignored, as the waitress seemed to have too much responsibility that evening to properly help out. On top of that we were almost never checked on during the meal and so could not help our next issue, which was the quality of the side salads provided with each meal. The lettuce in each was old and rusty, which basically killed any desire we had to eat them so we did not. Also, the dining experience was put off by the way this place handles birthdays. I actually had gone here for my birthday dinner, but in the evening, during all of their events I had decided against letting any of the staff know it was my birthday since the way that the birthday celebration is done by them is painful to hear, to the point where I would never ever consider going here on my birthday. Parking is not difficult due to its location in Liberty Station. While I'm not saying I'd never go here again, as there was a lot that went well, the negatives will certainly factor into how soon my visit will be.

Yelp
Gr8 place to take kids for a birthday party or just to hang out. Lots of video game options and its in a nice not so crowded area.

Brittaney L.

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! This is a San Diego staple!! You MUST come here at least once! It does get loud so be prepared for noise! The staff is amazing- they sing & dance & have so much fun with their tables. The food is AMAZING!! You have to get a shake with your meal! The menu is HUGE so come hungry & try something you normally wouldn't order. They have some really fun & unique items on the menu. Also, arcade in the back is a hit!

Alyssa N.

Yelp
It was my group's first time visiting today and I definitely will be coming back. There was a lot going on for visuals and sounds, and the decoration was awesome. Felt like taking a step back in time so that was really fun. There were a lot of birthdays going on and a handful of kids singing and dancing along with the throwback, classic music. Even so, it wasn't chaotic, which was great. Service was fantastic and our server was super attentive and even went out of her way to help us take photos. Big round of applause for the service here. Food was delicious. Got the Kookie and honestly, I was tempted to order another one for togo. Our table had many other dishes and items and the overall feedback was "The food is great." The fries were fantastic too, definitely liked those a lot. Parking was a bit of a struggle but it's Liberty Station so that's not surprising in any way. Worth the parking in my opinion. TLDR: Will definitely be back. Loved the food, loved the vibes. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Restaurant Vibes: 10/10 Price to Overall Dining (POD): 10/10

Yelp
This place has always been great. Very nostalgic for San Diego natives. I took my two granddaughters and they had a blast. There was music there was dancing. There was great food. There was fabulous milkshakes. They had a great time and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Located in Liberty Station in Point Loma is the Corvette Diner. It's a popular family friendly diner to go to for a 1950's style food and fun. Plenty of free parking in the lot close by. There's a actual sporty vintage cool Corvette in the main entrance to admire and take photos. Upon entry, the hall to the left is an arcade with many games for entertainment to keep kids amused and busy. The staff try to make your dining experience fun, they will sing and dance and crack jokes to amuse you. On weekends, this place is a madhouse, with lots of kids having some sort of birthday party celebration...so service tends to slow down and hard to flag anyone for help to order food, drink or get the check by o pay and leave. To avoid the crazy madness of the crowds, I suggest coming during weekdays, it's less crowded with less kids. The place is decorated with lots of 1950's memorabilia, along with neon lights and rock and roll classic music. Although the 1950's was before my time of inception, I read and seen so much fascinating history, facts and fun factoids to appreciate that time. The diner offers typical diner foods: burgers, fries, drinks, shakes and desserts. The later is what I've only been here for. I've tried the milk shakes and the brownie hot fudge sundae...both were yummy and cool. You don't have to be a product of the 1950's to visit the diner, because the fantastic yummy desserts and the fun you'll have is Cool at the Corvette Diner. Recommend

Yelp
This was very cool birthday experience that both of my kids enjoyed although I will say it was sensory overload. Super loud, hard to hear and very visually stimulating. It was so fun to see the servers dance and sing, our server really put on a show! The arcade in the back and games are very reasonable prices and my kids both loved the prizes they earned with their tickets. Much nicer than you can get at Dave and Busters for less tickets - highlights were Zoltar and the claw games. Everyone enjoyed their food and the variety of drinks was super fun - milkshakes and Shirley temples. I inquired if they had any dairy free milk shakes or ice cream and the server said u fortunately they do not anymore. I was able to get a black bean burger with no cheese which they said was vegan. Definitely more like a fast food diner (which is the whole point I think). The rooms had different themes, there is a di and it was fun to look at the old classic cars. Overall a great experience and my kids already want to go back!

Griselda M.

Yelp
Family friendly atmosphere, tons of activities to get involved in, games, music and fun activities with the servers. Friendly staff and amazing burgers!!! Our family each had a different hamburger and we were satisfied. One of the best old fashioned milkshakes I've had.

Liliana J.

Yelp
This place is located close to a huge parking lot which is amazinggggg, I love the place it looks so cool! We waited a few minutes to be seated but everything was great ! The waitress was kind and attentive. The food itself was delicious I got the breakfast at Tiffany's and my friend the Dante's inferno which was mildly spicy . I loved the onion rings they tasted so good ! I definitely recommend this place if you love American food

Armani H.

Yelp
This restaurant takes you back to the old 60's diner vibes. This place is lively with music and the waiters here are full of energy and very interactive. This restaurant has multiple rooms with seating areas and each room has a different atmosphere. I got the chili cheese waffle fries and the onion rings as starters, both really good and both a lot of food. For the main entree I got the western bacon burger and that was really delicious. The bacon was good and crispy

Ayham D.

Yelp
Such a fun, well-decorated spot with attentive service. Our server was very social and made my party's experience memorable. I enjoyed the jalapeño burger with waffle fries. It was good! Burger itself was very enjoyable and they even served extra jalapeño mayo to enjoy it with. Also there were good options for those that did not eat meat (like a black bean burger patty). The fries were tasty, but not totally fresh. The shake and drink options looked good but there could be more I think- a vegan shake and some more craft sodas would be very fitting on the menu here. All-in-all, I would recommend those visiting liberty station to come here for a sit-down meal. Corvette Diner is very unique. FYI- if you are looking to enjoy your dinner in a quiet environment, this isn't for you.

Paola S.

Yelp
Super fun place ! Loved the theme and the arcade was pretty big ! Best milkshakes I've ever had ! Food was good. Their waffle fries are amazing ! The meat loaf was pretty good, the blast sandwich was very tasty. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs and she devoured it! My husband had the breakfast at Tiffany's burger and he liked it but he wished they would ask you how you want your party cooked since it was well done and he prefers medium rare. The staff when o called to verify hours was a bit rude but once we actually went to the diner our server was fantastic. Definitely a fun place to bring family / visitors.

Vi G.

Yelp
Came for the nephew's bday. The staff were fun & accommodating. Wide variety of food however, not much I could personally choose from. I ended up ordering the black cow - this was great and large! The pickle me up at 6, were also large. Cost vs quantity, really do give you the bang for your buck. Different dining areas which give the place a type of old school feel. Staff wearing wigs, male or female, kids loved it! Kids also loved the arcade - great place for a kids birthday. Food and games!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Love the Corvette Diner!! Have been many times and will go again! Had the tuna melt this time and it was delicious My boys had the kids sliders and a cheeseburger. Sorry I can't remember the exact name haha. But they loved it! Service was wonderful! Very friendly. We also like taking photos with the corvette in front and just about anywhere. Love the atmosphere. Definitely recommend for parties, taking the kids out and even a fun date night. Lots of yummy food to eat !!

Benjamin B.

Yelp
What a fun place for a visit and party near pt loma which reminds me of a Mel's in LA on steroids. This place has a huge. The neon lights the outfits and staff all play that fun old role. It might be slightly cheesy but it's honestly just good old fun to feel like you are in a different time zone. They have normal soda and drinks and shakes and an ok appetizer and entire menu. They shine in their Sammie's and burgers. We split the buffalo chicken bleu which was ok for me but I'm not a fan of buffalo burgers or bleu cheese. The Brenda with bacon medium rare was essentially a flawless classic diner burger with great fries. I almost ordered up the meat and glad I didn't because I was stuffed. I probably could have cut it and been fine. They even take pics if you request and have a balloon man that the kids loved. A little extra pricey but at this point when you have fast food places charging 10$ just for a horrible whopper or Big Mac it was worth it. Again the staffing was flawless considering we had 20 people. Would love to come back for date night.

Jonathan Y.

Yelp
This place was an absolute experience when we got here. There's a sign saying weights could be yes long as 90 minutes, but our party of three was able to be seated in about 15 minutes on a Sunday night. There's a huge parking lot with plenty of parking so that made it nice and I have to worry about finding parking in the area inside. They totally hit that old time team with the music and the diner. Feel special with all the movies and Elvis videos playing during the seating. I got a lemon lime, Shirley Temple and the Rory burger which was peanut butter and pickle. I've had some good peanut butter and pickle burgers at other places so this one fell a bit short for me overall. The peanut butter didn't add much taste to the burger. There wasn't enough of it. The burger was very Bready. The fries were decent and the drink was good. Also the milkshake they got our order wrong and gave us two vanilla instead of the banana that we asked for but the service was really on team and everyone is really upbeat.

Vivian M.

Yelp
Highly recommended for parties!!!!! We had so much fun! It was my daughter's 10th birthday party, with 40 kids and 30 adults guests. They were able to reserve The Galaxy room for us! Our hostess Shari is the best!!!! Very organized! I don't even have to think about the party... they're in charge!!!!! You can tell the guests had so much fun too! The food for the kids and adults are good too! Of course it's not complete without their famous milkshakes! My daughter keeps on saying she has fun... priceless!!!

Ashley A.

Yelp
Great place and vibes for kids. We were seated in the glow room. We had great service, our server was very attentive. The food was okay, burgers were decent but nothing super memorable as far as flavors. Milkshakes were great, we just did classic ones. Kids loved it and that was the reason we went.

Efrain Q.

Yelp
Just updating the rest of the viewers from previous review. Management responded to my initial review and requested I email them so they can further touch base and make it right. I did and never heard back via email or phone. It appears their response was just a generic response to reviews for "show" but no actual follow through. Poor experience then poor experience now. Hard pass.

Samuel D.

Yelp
Definitely one of the top diners to go to in San Diego. Free parking (but it does get really busy here). The food is amazing and of course kid friendly. A must order are their milk shakes. They house big party walk-ins and RSVP for birthday parties. Game room is in a different room and is quite expensive and gets tight during busy hours. Food is delicious and portions are big.

Daniza M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time this evening celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday. The service was exceptional. We had a large party of 12 and the servers were very accommodating. Service was quick, friendly, and funny. They do the whole sheh-bang with balloons, puppets, and photography pictures framed in Corvette Diner cardstock frame. One of the servers who stood out was Fletcher. He was super funny and making all the kids laugh. Even the adults at the table were laughing. Food was not bad either. The milkshakes were yummy! Burgers were good too. After diner we went to the arcade. The kids loved it and played for over an hour. This is definitely a memorable place to celebrate a birthday. Glad we chose it, and happy it made my birthday girl's day.

Ellianna D.

Yelp
My partner, a San Diego Native, has been raving about this place since long before I had had the chance to visit, so my expectations were quite high. And Corvette diner absolutely met and exceeded those expectations, especially with how thoroughly committed they are to the theme. From the paper diner hat, to the outfits and makeup and songs, the themed rooms to the live radio broadcast booth, it was a truly infectious kind of excitement. The food was wonderful - you can't really go wrong with diner food in my opinion, especially with the fun variety of flavors and combinations many of their menu items had. We got an Elvis milkshake (banana, peanut butter, and marshmallow!) as well as the Rory burger, which was super unique, with a peanut butter sauce along its bacon burger. My favorite was the Buffalo Bleus - a fried chicken sandwich with blue cheese, and buffalo sauce, that was as flavorful as it was messy, and I loved every bite of it. Our waitress was super friendly, and super into the 60's spirit, which made the whole experience that much more fun. She let us know about the arcade in the back as well, which was a whole other room or lights, games, and fun. Corvette diner is such a gem of a restaurant, I truly can say I've never been anywhere else like it. I cannot wait for the next time I'm in the area, so I can try more milkshakes, more menu specialties, and meet more of the amazing staff!

Yelp
A Nostalgic Adventure at Corvette Diner - A Six-Year Update After revisiting Corvette Diner multiple times over the past six years, I'm excited to share an updated perspective on this iconic diner and game room at Liberty Station. Arrival and Waiting Experience: To avoid the weekend rush, we make it a point to arrive early. The popularity of Corvette Diner means it gets busy quickly, and while they don't take reservations, the wait times are generally manageable, averaging around 20 minutes. The 90-minute dining limit is clearly communicated, and most patrons adhere to it, ensuring a smooth turnover. Parking: If you're arriving after 1 pm, parking can be a challenge, but we've found a sweet spot between the Market and the diner when exploring Liberty Station. Ambiance and Decor: Corvette Diner excels in creating a vibrant atmosphere with cool signs, posters, a shake stand, a bar, and even a DJ booth. The unique interior, featuring a full-sized Corvette at the entrance, immediately sets the tone for a nostalgic experience. The attention to detail in the decor enhances the overall ambiance, making it clear that this is not just a meal but an event. Customer Service: The service is commendable, even if the waitresses are very busy. Anticipating a 10-15 minute interval between interactions, I make sure to get everything I need at once. Despite the hustle, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall experience. Dining Experience: The menu primarily consists of classic diner fare, from chili burgers to sandwiches and fries. While the food doesn't reach culinary heights, it complements the nostalgic environment. I usually get a burger or sandwich, which are priced well. Game Room: The inclusion of a game room adds a great dimension to the diner. Playing games while waiting for food or a table elevates the overall experience, making it more than just a meal. Combined with the DJ, occasional waitress dances, and nostalgic decor, Corvette Diner truly feels like an entertaining event. In conclusion, Corvette Diner remains a favorite for its nostalgic ambiance, friendly staff, and the added fun of the game room. While the food is decent but not exceptional, the overall experience makes it a worthwhile destination for those seeking more than just a meal. We'll undoubtedly continue our tradition of returning to this lively spot.

Yelp
Celebrating the last day of school! Came in at 5pm and was seated right away. Always fun environment. Harvey was great! He gave great recommendations. The Nutella & Banana shake was perfect, not too sweet. The Brenda got two thumbs up from our 12 year old, his favorite was the bacon it was crunchy and chewy. The Kookie was great, the caramelized onions added a nice sweetness. The Galaxy always delicious, veggies cooked perfect still crunchy, not soggy at all. Side of pesto is a must. Had a great dinner and experience.

Highro T.

Yelp
We had a party of 24, food was great our waitress was great , she was loud friendly and very attentive, wish I would remember her name, before we left a short staff lady , I believe she was a manager, she told us we had to leave , cause we were there too long , even though we had kids playing at the arcade still and us adults still had some none alcoholic drinks , she wasn't professional at all, I would have given you guys a better ratings but she killed the evening , she should work on her customer service

B'ma S.

Yelp
Food was basic and service was ok. Went for a kids birthday, the kid had fun and I guess that's all that matters. They have an arcade in the back.

Katrina S.

Yelp
I came across this restaurant and it looked fun. Singing and dancing servers and an arcade! The kids enjoyed the arcade, but the table they gave us was all the way at the end, right isle, at the back. I think it's where families with little kids are seated as the other families around me had little kids too. We could hear singing but could not see anything. Our server was friendly. We supposedly just came for Icecream, but ended up ordering the garbage plate. Food was good, the usual burgers and fries. It was huge! 2 adults and 2 toddlers barely made a dent. By the time my daughter's Icecream came, she had no more room in her belly to eat it. All in all, if we were seated somewhere up front, it would probably be a better experience.

Mabel B.

Yelp
This place is fun!!! Came here after checking out the vintage market and walking around the pumpkin patch. We got seated right away. Staff was fun and friendly. Our food came out quick and we were able to get game cards for the kids to use before our food came out. Hubby got a burger while I got the tuna melt and kids got a hot dog and grilled cheese and milkshakes. We were all satisfied with our meals. The restaurant has a fun vibe and the decor that reflected it's intended past. The waitresses performed a song which added to the atmosphere. Check it out when you're in the area. It's a step up from your typical diner.

Leslie L.

Yelp
Super cute diner in a very cool area (Liberty Station), that has your traditional diner food, a bevy of milkshakes and an arcade! We just came in the afternoon to get some shakes and play some games and it was great! They seemed a bit short staffed, but the server we had did a great job of managing a lot of tables. Definitely a great place to bring the kids!

Melissa K.

Yelp
Staff was amazing and kind. But my daughter ordered sweet potato fries... only person in the group to order them. She made a funny face after eating some and didn't eat much after that. My daughter has special needs and struggles to communicate how she's feeling. By the next morning she was throwing up sweet potato fries and she had the runs. No flu or sickness this was from eating something icky. So sad to hate on this place because the staff was so sweet and before our food came they even danced and got my daughter up dancing with them. The restaurant is so busy that I doubt there's enough time to properly clean all surfaces between guests and I image hard to stay up on the quality of food and its freshness. We will never return.

Cindy U.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner. The General Manager was showing her superior coustomer service when we arrived. Then to make this experience even better.... Our waitress "Frenchie" made sure our whole experience was something to remember. 5 stars plus a big Thank you Only wish they sold t-shirts

Kara S.

Yelp
HOW FUN!! This diner was absolutely amazing, we were taken back into the 50s. My family had so much fun here. We didn't realize there was also an arcade. Our waiter was very nice and helped us with the menu, he told us what was sent back often and what was good. We had a milkshake and a burger with fries each, literally some of the best we've had. I would recommend this place and will be coming back!

Ki R.

Yelp
Great food and great service, more than what I expected. This was our first time here with friends to spend the weekend in SD. It is very loud, though they are constantly celebrating birthdays, and there is an MC hosting on a mic. It is very family oriented and friendly. The servers have the best attitude and are exceptional at what they do and with handling people. The food is also good, their burgers and sandwiches are very tasty and what you expect from a diner. I also had a "classic" rootbeer float made with A&W. If you haven't been here you have to try it. Enjoy.

Frank B.

Yelp
The vibe was off the hook! Service was great. But the food isn't as great, or at least the 2 things I've tried which is that chicken fried steak and pastrami. I remember coming here 4-5 years ago, and almost every food we've ordered was always very good. But this is why this review is a constructive criticism, maybe whoever's running the show can see this and will be able to right the ship. Very good service and atmosphere nonetheless.

Eric W.

Yelp
At Corvette Diner you will experience Great Food! Great Service! A Great Time! Highly recommend you go see for yourself!

Danielle V.

Yelp
We had the best time at this cute little joint! The food was pretty good but the stand out was the service and entertainment. The DJ played great oldies from the 50s and 60s. The staff danced and sang. It's a loud environment so if you're looking for a nice intimate dinner, I would look elsewhere. The loudness is part of the charm!! We had balloons made for the kids and they loved it. Definitely recommend for families or birthdays!!

Christina M.

Yelp
I remember going to Corvette Diner in Downtown as a kid. The one in Liberty Station did not disappoint. We had a wonderful waitress named Quinn. She was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Sid Cowboy Burger that was AMAZING! Quinn noticed when she brought my food that I was shorted on fries and offered to bring me some without me saying anything at all. Outstanding! The environment is very kid friendly and has an arcade in the back. I didn't get to try the dessert this time because I was so full from my meal, but I will definitely be back and try it next time.

Yelp
This place has all the comfort food you need and more. We ordered their Garbage Plate which is a massive appetizer combo platter that fed 4 of us with leftovers! Corvette Diner is a family friendly spot with a 60s retro feel. Think of a mix between Johnny Rockets and John's Incredible Pizza. I liked how they had a DJ mixing music and a variety of arcade games for both kids and adults. Our server was quirky and energetic which at first I thought was just his personality but it is apparently what each server does as part of the theme. I will return to try more of their food. Come hungry!

Yelp
Super fun and the games were not pricey, they even had a man come around and inflate balloons in different shapes for the kids

Yelp
I haven't been here in over a decade. Of course it's a little different than the original location but still a fun time. I do miss when they'd throw bubble gum and straws at you. I remember my first time here, they curled my hair around a bunch of straws! Decent food and drinks. The Shirley Temple was delicious and came with a bunch of cherries. Good customer service. Fun and lively ambiance. However, it is very loud so it is difficult to engage in conversation with others at your table. Perfect for birthday parties, especially kids. There is an arcade, a balloon animal artist who walks around to the tables, 50s music/decor, etc. Corvette Diner is a must try at least once in your life!

Yelp
This restaurant is very nice, noisy and located in a beautiful area and service is great. It is unfortunate that the food is not good, they add a 5% surcharge for a really bad reason. I don't mind paying higher prices if the food is good but why add surcharges. I think it's a bad business practice - just put the real prices, for example Islands is a little more expensive even when Corvette surcharge is added but I rather go back to Island because of the better food. I ordered a burger and the meat and bread were very dry, we also hot a BLAST sandwich and it was average. If you have kids and don't care about the food this place is for you, the place is nice and it has an arcade.

Yelp
Came here on a rainy Saturday for lunch around noon. The wait was about 30 minutes for a party of 3. We ended up going to the arcade area while we waited. The women's bathroom was out of order because the faucets weren't working. Spent $20'at the arcade before our table was ready. We sat in the area where the walls had an ongoing tv flashback of back in the day. Our waitress arrived a few minutes later and took our order. Our toddler had the chicken tenders and fries + strawberry milkshake. I ordered the chicken buffalo sandwich with fries + peanut butter chocolate shake and my husband ordered the Brenda burger + strawberry shake. I wish we would have asked for water because our food came out before our shakes. When our waitress noticed that our shakes weren't there she went back and came over with our shakes. Unfortunately, our shakes were melted at this point since they were probably made a while back. Our food was cold as well and the fries looked like they were double fried. You know when you can just taste the old oil in the fried food? That's what our fries tasted like, like when was the last time that oil was changed? The food was mediocre at best. Overall, it could have been better and I guess my stars are for the arcade area and the atmosphere of the place.

Yelp
Food was good but service was beyond excellent. Gloria is the light of the whole place and she took great care of us!! Anticipated our needs and made sure we had everything we needed! She made my grand daughter feel so special and was so sweet to her (it was her 6th birthday). We saw her at literally every table for the birthday singing and she always gave it 200%. Really looking forward to returning. Hope to have a shake next time!!

Yelp
Ambience is great and fun for kids. Management should pay more attention to who they hire, you can't have a business with no professionalism from the host/front end people. They talk loud and laugh and make ridiculous jokes where patrons can clearly hear them. Thought to give this place another try but walked right out after not being acknowledged along with a few others waiting. Do better Corvette Diner!

Yelp
In a nutshell, nice service with a smile from the host and our server, extremely expensive average burgers and fries , we didn't partake of the milkshakes I think they're sort of known for, and the theme is loud 50s diner that feels sort of like Disneyland. I think for a kids party this might be fun. Two burgers that came with fries, an iced tea and a club soda...our bill was $54 before tip. Wow!

Yelp
I mainly gave this diner a solid 4 star due to the entertainment offerings from arcade games and the staff singing and dancing. What a vibe here. Service was incredible--our server was super kind and full of personality. We had a large party and our server was very attentive to every one of us. I didn't visit here with high expectations on food and surely enough the turkey dinner I had was a bust unfortunately. They do have a wide variety of other meals so I'd recommend you try something else. Either way, this diner is definitely worth visiting for an enjoyable night out. Cheers
