Restaurant with very good vibe. We went on a sunny winter day for lunch, and dining room was bright and comfortable. Waiter was friendly and warm to us. Food was amazing. The shrimp and scallops vodka is the one of the best I have ever had. The food was comparable to many $100+ per person restaurants in NYC, while it only cost $30 here. I had a fantastic experience lunch experience here.

Once again this place continues to prove a well deserved 5 star review. Emil and his staff are amazing, and from the moment I received a text on Messenger from him to remind me that he hasn’t forgotten my wife and I’s special request of rack of lamb and in September was my birthday and we were thinking of coming back. Well let’s start by mentioning his attention to detail. He reminded the request, my drink and our table. This young man interacted with everyone in the dining room and made sure that all was met to everyone’s expectations. On my way out I had the opportunity to meet with his brother, who is also a well mannered young man. He asked me how was everything, It was a perfect end to my birthday week/ vacation. Thank you Emil. You and your staff made it a wonderful memorable experience. Definitely will continue to visit this amazing establishment. Keep up the good work.

Food was very good, service staff and atmosphere was great. Con: over priced. Definitely ask the price of the specials because we were taken aback when the check came. It was not crowded on a Saturday night, we assumed this was why.

I had a fantastic meal - a delicious cod special over pasta and a slice of excellent cheesecake that followed. A gem of a place.

The service is fabulous! Elma was our server I believe based on my receipt. There was another woman helping serving on April 18th that was also very nice. Very professional and everything was perfect. We had the salmon entrees, gorgonzola salad, and lobster ravioli... Everything was delicious! Beautiful rural location with nice views! Pleasant decor on the interior.

Corvo Bar & Grill is a very special restaurant in Moodus. This was our third time there and the food and service did not disappoint. This time along with my spouse, I took my two sons and my daughter-in-law from Florida. The dining room is cozy with a bar along the inside wall. They also have a great deck for outdoor dining. The gentleman who served us must be a jack of all trades and a master of some, because he was exceptional in his service...without hovering.

Ate here last night as we were staying at the Getaway cabins and wanted to eat out instead of cooking. This restaurant is located on the golf course. It's pretty small, but was empty for a Sunday night. It had very cozy vibes, friendly service, and good food. We started off with some fresh warm bread with olive oil and peppers, a nice kick. Portions were large and quality was great. The fried mozzarella was crisp, cheesy, and a nice balance to my salad. For dessert we split the tiramisu and had an espresso and pistachio martini. All in all, a great getaway dinner. I wouldn't mind heading back here if we were in the area again!

It was a beautiful evening to sit outside and enjoy some beverages and a nice meal. We had the calamari which came with gorgonzola and peppers and a red dipping sauce. We also had cocktails and red wine with our meal. I had the scallop risotto and my hubs had the lamb special which came with a red wine reduction sauce and 3 kinds of mushrooms: shitake, wood ear and maybe portobello. It has had a maracapone polenta which was my favorite. The scallops were flavorful.

We've been to Corvo several times and we've never been disappointed. It is obvious that someone cares a lot about the quality of the food that comes out of the kitchen. More over, the wait staff is congenial, pleasant, and always ready to help. The bar drinks are very good. It's a real cozy restaurant and we are lucky to have it here in Moodus. No other restaurant in the area can touch it. In my opinion.

Staying at the Postcard Cabins and stopped here for dinner. The food, service, and ambiance were awesome! Really cozy, they had live music. We got the fried calamari & fried mozzarella to start and the Alfredo & Vodka pasta's for dinner. All delish! Highly recommend

Great food, service and ambience. Limited menu, but so good. Indoors is cozy, outdoors you have beautiful views of the rolling hills of the golf course.

After hearing about this restaurant from a friend I decided on going here for a much needed date night. I'm glad we did! The food was so delicious. My partner said over and over that this was the best food we've had in a long time (I'm not sure what that says for my cooking skills, but I'm glad they enjoyed it). The only down fall is that the restaurant is on the smaller end so it can get pretty loud when it's a full house. We'll definitely be coming back again! I'm looking forward to bringing some friends here as well.

Been there three times over four years we Summer in town. First two times they would have gotten five stars. We shared a meatball appetizer, very good. I had pork chops , paper thin and tough as shoe leather. The gravy and mushrooms were very good. The mashed potato was nothing special whatsoever. My Wife had scallops (5) over risotto $32 very dry more than likely overcooked. I enjoy the table rolls and the olive oil but my wife found the oil spicy. We had a draft beer each all good. Server's were attentive, we sat inside and the deck looked inviting but the warm out. Flower boxes that could have used a little more attention but the worst is sumac tree large sapling right near the railing. The bill was $92/$110 with tip expensive for two small rubber pork chops and five dried up scallops.

Great food and service. A place out of the way that is a gem. Sit at the bar or on the patio with a scenic view. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is off the main road overlooking a golf course. We were greeted upon entering and chose to eat outside. I had the Scallops with Risotto, while my husband chose the Fruitte de Mare. Both meals were delicious complemented with a great Pinot Grigio, warm rolls and butter. It was a beautiful setting and we had a nice visit with our waiter, whose family owns the business.

What a gem! Outstanding food and service. Every single time they are on their game with beverage, food, and service. 100% And the family that operates the business are first class people.

This place was awesome. The food is amazing and the service as well. My wife and I went there for lunch for our anniversary and we didn't even know that the server was the owner. Until we looked it up. So humble. And service was on point. The lobster ravioli was OMG. And the sauce I can't explain it. I even asked for extra bread to soak it up. To good to leave on the plate. Will definitely be back. And the cocktails off the hook.

Wow! What a little gem! We were driving home and looked on Yelp for a nearby place to eat and found the review in this place. Pulled in to discover it's located on the golf course. We were greeted by the loveliest waiter who proceeded to guide us through the best of the menu and their most fabulous drinks, apps, and main dishes and everything was superb! This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The interior of the restaurant is a lovely space with a great bar and the outside deck overlooks the golf course on warmer days. Def. a great little gem!

Dinner at Corvo Bar and Grill after arriving in Moodus, Connecticut. Less than a half mile from our stay at the Grand View Camp Resort. The atmosphere was really nice, service was impeccable and the food was delicious! I had a Cosmopolitan and it was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. We really enjoyed the dinner rolls! My husband had the Chicken Parmigiana and I had the Faroe Island Salmon, both were delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment!

Absolutely PERFECT! The food was wonderful: fresh, creative, and delicious. The presentation was gorgeous. There are unique dishes, with all the flavors balanced using exactly the right ingredients and seasoning. We ate outdoors and it was lovely. The service was fantastic- very attentive without being intrusive, and the presentation was beautifully done. I can recommend Corvo to anyone. It's perfect when you want a classy place to take guests, or to just enjoy the lunch, or enjoy the bar.

The food was amazing I love the potatoes and the salmon and the pasta and meatballs were on another level the workers were all really nice and I had a great time! I hope other people visit Corvo Bar and Grill.

Fabulous place!!! Food was excellent. The service was great and the wait staff was charming!!! Looking out over the valley and watching the sun set as we sat on the deck eating was spectacular!!

We came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. (We we're camping at the campgrounds Nextdoor) It was nice and quiet, the view from the bar looking outside was picturesque! We ordered two salads, I had the Caesar. They were very fresh and tasty, the bartender was super friendly. I had the pistachio martini as a drink, and my sister had the espresso martini. Both were very delicious ! I can't wait to come back here next camping trip!!

I have been three times so far and each time I'm surprised at how good this place has been. The Italian food is much better then what you will find in Middletown. I have had various dishes and desserts and all of them have been large portioned and delicious. I have even had a hot dog for lunch during a round of golf and that was good to. I think the food is really well priced and worth every penny. The staff is extremely friendly and the bartenders have drink making skills. I will be back again!

The food is so good, the service is amazing. I have eaten here many times since they have opened and never had one bad experience here. They were on time when delivering my food as well. My personal favorite food item is their meat balls! 10/10

Checked them out tonight and was not disappointed! We got the shrimp and scallops alla vodka, bistecca, apple Gorgonzola salad and calamari. All were wonderful. Staff was super nice and even held the doors for me as I had takeout. Entire restaurant was very clean and properly spaced out for COVID spacing. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

First visit! Ordered steak tips with Marscapone polenta... no polenta just cheese on steak tips in so much sauce and the meat was well done! Calamari very chewy. I don't usually give bad reviews but it was very expensive and it's not right to have half the entree missing! We will not go back

Small location, so definitely make a reservation first. We were lucky on a Friday night since it was pouring rain we walked right in. It's a cute place, but for the price, definitely mediocre food. I had the lamb sirloin special, and more than 3/4 was fat. It came with polenta that had zero flavor to it. Husband had fettuccine alfredo, and it was okay. Nothing too exciting about the taste. Drinks had little alcohol in them and were smaller than expected. Mediocre option but there are not many restaurants in the area. We will not go back though. Service was attentive.

Got take out from Corvo and got the Bolognese and Linguine Vongole. It's a nice place inside that looks pretty fancy and they have a bar. The Linguine Vongole was good but it was a bit too salty. The clams were good. And the Bolognese was very good, they give you a lot of sauce and it's a good size. They also give you some bread which is really nice. The server was really nice and also they have COVID precautions in place. We've been here once before and the lobster ravioli was good too.

What a wonderful spot- a true hidden gem. My girlfriend and I went there for lunch today. We were so busy catching up that I forgot to take pics. The bread oil is amazing! So we're both our meals. The atmosphere is quaint, warm, inviting and the staff is top notch. I already told my husband he is taking me there for a romantic dinner. I highly recommend.

Monday sept 28, came tonight with my wife for dinner. The restaurant is located in the restaurant space at banner lodge. My wife had the pasta bolognese and I had the shrimp and scallop in vodka sauce. They were both very good. Atmosphere is very nice, white table linen with nice music. Inside and outside dining with great views. Portions are large!! Our server Cindy was excellent, very attentive. I would recommend Corvo bar & grill.

Such a great place - highly recommend it! I've been here at least 4x... the food is amazing & always cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding as well. My new favorite restaurant!!
