This is a great little place in Paris. There are two of these, but I have only been to this one. The staff tells me that the owner is from New Zealand, enjoys opera music and a lot more Italian culture, so he does what all Italian lovers do, and moves to Paris.
The result is a gorgeous cafe with lovely staff, a lovely playlist, amazing fresh baked focaccia bread with fresh toppings. I had a tandoori turkey sandwich and the baby tomatoes were so fresh and sweet and complemented everything. €14.50 gets you one of their high end sandwiches, a drink, and THE BEST Crumble I've had in ages - with a little dollop of creme fraîche.
It's already fairly popular so I doubt I'm doing anyone a favour here but it's lovely and a place with a genuine personal touch to what the business is all about, and with all the trendy places popping up all the time, it's great to see a place with just as much cool, but also it's own personality. I hope it continues to do well.
