Cool little space and science museum in ishikawa prefecture. Lots of alien related stuff and a LOT of ex NASA equipment displays including Voyager satellite, lunar rover, landing craft etc... And there's even a tiny sample of real moon dust there! Also, the theatre show is unreal! Walking distance from hakui station and close to a lot of great local eateries

I have visited couple of museums in Japan but this one was my favourite! The exhibition is small yet informative. Most information is written in English. The overall theme of the museum is amazing. They have numerous UFO files printed out and in folders to read through. There are hundreds of pages of UFO sightings in Japan unfortunately only available in Japanese but fun to look through.

It was definitely amazing museum around Kanazawa. Especially the videos or movies were amazing. Parking is available. Good to send half a day there. Family oriented, Kids friendly! Ticket is needed. Happy traveling Cheers English support is available. Pictures are allowed. So enjoy!

What an unexpected delight to visit this quirky museum. Great displays of lunar vehicles and replicas from the US and Soviet space agencies. The UFO material was a bit weak (!), and the theatre upstairs was excellent. My criticism is that the movie and the exhibits need more English translations and subtitles and this would be a huge drawcard for the region. Thanks

If you are interested in space, space crafts or rocket, this is the must go place. The facility is not so big, but there are some curious products. You can image the difficulties of astronauts in the spacecrafts. You also learn the history of spacecrafts from the displayed items. There are explanations written in English.
