Costa Rica Wet and Wild

We arrived to CR end of May with my husband. We wanted to explore the area doing fun stuff like ATVs, catamaran tour, waterfalls, water rafting, jet ski, etc. We both did research and found a whole bunch of tour operators and websites that looked the same to us. Some of them were more expensive than the others, some were hard to communicate with as they did not speak English (we do not speak Spanish). It was quite hard to navigate, as we were determined to have the best experience while NOT overpaying. We contacted Wet and Wild via phone, but weren’t sure on how to manage everything we wanted to do in a week that we had in CR. Justin (the owner) met with us and helped plan all desired activities. After doing quite some research, we ended up planning it all with Wet and Wild, as prices were the most reasonable and each activity and each tour was better than the previous one. Justin is super accommodating, and responded to the most weird requests, from checking our selected route to make sure we make it in time for our early morning rafting tour to “suggestions from locals” for places we wanted to explore on our own. Absolutely loved our recent tours experience with Wet and Wild! Justin made it smooth and seamless from the moment we booked our first tour until the final goodbye. Saved the contact for our next CR adventure. Genuinely grateful!

Very appreciative of Wet&Wild for getting us to/from airport and for an incredible ATV outing with Coco Bay Adventures. Justin was quick and clear with communications and all his colleagues were wonderful and so patient with questions and in particular our long delay due to late flight. Driver took us to grocery store on the way to our rental which was a huge help in starting our week off right! Can’t recommend highly enough.

We spent a week in Playa Potrero and booked a zip line tour through Justin. The experience was incredible and a highlight of our trip. Justin answered all of our questions and provided great service. Highly recommend!

We booked the Canyon de la Vieja Combo Tour for my family of five. A super fun adventure. Justin was great coordinating through email. The day was fun filled and fast paced with activities.

Justin is a great, knowledgeable guy on fishing. I was staying there for a week. I was fishing the shore, hoping to catch a new species in Costa Rica when Justin walked past me, and I asked him if he caught anything or had any knowledge on shoreline fishing out here. He ended up telling me what lure and technique to use to catch some fish out here. He proceeded to ask if I wanted to go to the other side of the coast and use some live bait. We managed to get me my first rooster and also some jacks in the morning. He brought some gear out and put me on some fish. I appreciated him for his time and knowledge. I highly recommend booking a 3:00 or 3:30 PM start time so you can experience the beauty of the landscape in daylight and witness a mesmerizing sunset. Pedro’s deep knowledge of the land shines through as he shares fascinating insights along the way, yet he also knows when to allow for peaceful moments of reflection. The horses are clearly well-loved and cared for, making the ride even more special. Plus, Pedro is more than happy to stop and take photos, ensuring you capture every unforgettable moment. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience—don’t miss out!

I was with a large group of friends, and everything went smoothy each time we had to contact Justin for something, even if it was last minute. I was leaving a couple days early, so needed a solo ride from Potrero to the airport. The entire trip/afternoon with Jonathan felt like hanging out with an old friend. These guys are fantastic and I'll be using their services when I return.

Our ATV excursion was epic! We spent about 3 hours in total going through the jungle/forest and then down to the beach where we got to be up close and personal with White Faced Monkeys. The staff were so friendly and our tour guide was a lot of fun. I highly recommend Costa Rica Wet and Wild!
