We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room is big and very nice. We stayed at the rooftop so ve had a very nice balcony. No elevator so you need to take the stairs 2 floor up with your luggage (keep in mind). The breakfast is simple but very nice and the service is very welcoming. The location is great, every thing is nearby.

We wanted a classy hotel, a bit special for our trip to Naples. Looking at the website Costantinololi 104 looked just what we were looking for. We have travelled widely and after some research, thought we had found the perfect place.|After a long train journey our arrival was met with apathy by the female receptionist - almost of though we were interrupting her "admin". Anyway, we put that aside and checked in. Our room (305) was tiny and very simply furnished. A bit disappointing. Yes there is a terrace where you can sunbathe and yes there is a swimming pool (with a notice saying its not suitable for swimming) but other than that it felt like a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was OK. I would say that when we had a problem with hotel wi fi the male receptionist was very helpful and went out of his way to solve the issue. So all in all, the position is great for the historic centre, but not a particularly special hotel.

A real gem of a hotel. Beautiful calm oasis in a busy city. Comfortable rooms. Brilliant staff and great breakfast..

Quiet oasis in the heart of historical centre. Rooms a bit basic and small but had rooftop terrace outside our room so not a problem. Good breakfast. Amenable staff. Great to have a small pool to dip into after hot day sightseeing. Great location . A lot of the sights are within walking distance otherwise close to metro and bus stops. Hotel will also call a taxi for you if you prefer.

The hotel is a hidden oasis in the bustling city, right next to cafés, bars and restaurants. You can cool off in the lovely pool and might be lucky to get a complementary Aperol spriz and bruschetta while you're relaxing there. The room is lovely, staff are nice - overall an experience we won't ever forget!

Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of the historic quarter of Naples. Hidden behind a courtyard entered via a large gate on the street front, was remarkably quiet. |Room a bit basic but had a big rooftop balcony area right outside which was great. Also, so fabulous to have a pool to dip into after a hot day sightseeing!|Staff were very friendly though we weren’t keen on their restaurant recommendations and in hindsight should have ignored them when they said it wasn’t necessary to buy an Artepass card. Would have saved ourselves lots of €€€s if we had!! |Also they always wanted us to take taxis but the metro/ bus/train all worked well and were easily accessible ( except when there were snap strikes) from the hotel.|Very good breakfast with great freshly squeezed orange juice and daily fresh pastries and cakes. |Would highly recommend this hotel as a well located, clean and friendly place to stay in Naples.

We stayed at Costantinopoli 104 and were treated very rudely by the owner and her staff. It was pretty upsetting and odd treatment at a hotel to be honest. I travel a ton- for work and with family- and can't remember ever being treated so badly. I would not recommend the hotel to my friends or family. ||This hotel is also not to the standards of 4 stars. It was not very clean or up to date. The places is dingy! The sheets, towels and appliances are old. The room we were given was very hot and facing a bar that was loud all night long. When we asked to turn on the AC we were told we could not by law (it was April). OK... so we suffered with a hot, noisy night of no sleep. The next morning I asked for a fan- and they brought one! So at least they had a fan- but how cruel and inhospitable to not offer one on our first night? And by the way, I was dealing with the staff AND the owner about all of this- she identified herself to me. ||Another point of contention. The breakfast is not good and served by a rude staff. Naples is a gourmet city but the breakfast food is second rate and not enticing. For example, my daughter wanted oatmeal (dry oatmeal was on the buffet) and I asked for hot water. The lady gave me lukewarm water which obviously is not how to make oatmeal. How hard is it to bring hot water or pop the oatmeal into a microwave? If you don't want to help your guests make oatmeal then why provide it? ||When we all travel, we rely on the kindness of strangers to make our way in a new place. Whether or not you are staying at hostel or the Four Seasons. That is why hospitality is a sacred practice worldwide. You will not find kindness or hospitality at this hotel. You will get attitude and bad vibes.||I still LOVED Naples. It is messy, noisy, etc. But it is also brilliant and I loved every minute of my time there except being at this bad hotel.

Isn’t it great when you’ve selected a hotel for family and it’s just perfect. If you are fortunate enough to stay a few days you will meet most of the staff, everyone welcoming and even better, helpful making arrangements in a new city. It is tucked away behind one of the more active nighttime streets. That means you do not have to go far to feel the heartbeat of Naples. Breakfast was terrific, inside or on the terrace. The pool being mid May was chilly, but refreshing after a long day of site seeing. It is crazy on the surrounding streets at night, everyone just hanging out to the wee hours. If you are bothered by noise at night ( I’m not) perhaps ask for one of the quieter rooms. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Yelp
What a cool hotel! We hung out on the roof lounge every night to review our day exploring Napoli. The complimentary breakfast was exemplary and the cappuccinos were sublime. The rooms are nice however we asked to be moved from our first room because of a strong perfume smell (I suspect to cover cigarette smoke). The staff accommodated us immediately with apologies. Other than that we had no hot water one morning - can i get a WAKE UP! The place is a refuge in the middle of the crazy, lively raucous old city. Sounds die away as you enter and the calm lets you reset yourself for your next foray into the area. Nice little pool as well. Frankly, this place is not for kids. You will get creepy glances from the older folks here but why would you be bringing kids here anyway?? Ask the front desk for a bottle of red wine, hit the roof for some chillin and enjoy life - you have earned it!

Yelp
First off, I will say I'm a hotel snob. This is generally not the type of hotel I stay at, but a friend and I were traveling together and she made the reservations. Walking in, I wasn't so sure about the place. It's off a very busy street, filled with graffiti and didn't seem safe. Additionally, you had to be buzzed into two different gates. Regarding the noise reported in other reviews, I did not find this to be the case. The hotel is not on the street and their is another building in front of it, so it was not loud. But, I later found the street is perfectly safe. It's near a music university and where lots of students hang out. If you check out the stores, you will notice every other one sells instruments. It's lively and fun, not dangerous in the least (you're still in a city, so be cautious of course). As far as the hotel goes, it's lovely. The rooms are fine, they're not what I'm typically accustomed to, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accomidating. We hired a driver and tour guide for the day, which was provided by the hotel and was extraordinary. Sitting by the pool, I asked if they happened to have a spritzer and she made some for us and brought them out. They clearly take pride in their work and hotel. If you're expecting The Four Seasons, it's not that. If you want a lovely, reasonably priced, clean hotel, run by people who are helpful and take pride in their work, I highly suggest it.

Yelp
If you want to stay in the middle of the buzz, this hotel is in many ways ideal, BUT at the same time it can be your pain too. Positive sides: - Central location in the old town - Lots of young people and cafes - Nice and clean rooms - Terrasse on the roof - Pool - Nice and helpful staff Less positive sides: - Rooms towards a party Street (slept with ear plugs for the entire week) - Aircondition not on = heated room had to open window for air = more noise from the street. - Picture graphics terrible = hotel difficult to find (located in the back of a courtyard) - You have to enter two closed gates with door bells to get in. Also as a guest staying at the hotel. All in all a nice hotel - but if you like your nights calm, remember your ear plugs or find another hotel.

Yelp
While the Costantinopoli is set a block off the street inside a courtyard it is very easy to find with the street address. There is a small sign indicating where to turn however it can be easily obstructed by the trees around it. If the main gate is closed there is a buzzer you need to use (I believe there are two different sets, but the one for the Costantinopoli is labeled) to get into the main part. Once within the main part you are not home-free; the door to the hotel is on the far left hand side of the courtyard and you'll need to use another buzzer to get inside. There is little street noise within the hotel area and there are several lounging areas in addition to a pool (not heated). Check-in went smooth and our room was large. It was clean, with the exception of the mold/mildew in the bathroom (from the large leaks described later). Tall ceilings and wood floors gave it a really cozy feel. The bathroom is another story. As experienced by others we had a shower with a glass door that had no seal on the bottom (giving a large gap). This led to water leaking all the way outside the bathroom to the hallway closet creating a big safety hazard (tiled floors and wood floors with giant puddles are slippery). We eventually started shoving a spare towel in between the glass door and tub which helped the problem but didn't completely solve it. This is obviously an ongoing issue because there is mold/mildew stains everywhere the water was pooling. Breakfast was included with our room rate and it was sub-par. It consisted of cold scrambled eggs, overly salted bacon in addition to your typical toast/yogurt/vegetables/cold cuts. There were pastries and if you were lucky enough to get some they were fresh and delicious, definitely the highlight. The breakfast buffet is held in a rather small room with a single person doing all the work (clearing tables, cooking food, coffee, etc) which led to incredibly poor service. Often tables would go uncleared for the next guests and if it is too cool/wet for the outdoor seating you end up having to wait to eat. Of course, when it is this busy you also end up waiting if you just want some coffee (as it is not self-serve, they make it for you). Sometimes the wait staff in the buffet would disappear and you'd end up with no service, nowhere to sit or completely empty food items. And if you are extremely unlucky, all of the above. I would highly recommend visiting the buffet early in the morning in an attempt to avoid all these problems related to service. The hotel is near the museum however if you are planning to go I would recommend you find out the closing time of their various exhibits. When we were there the museum was open fairly late (6pm or 7pm) but various areas in the museum closed earlier (such as at 2pm). There is a board inside the entry way that lists the times of the various sections. We would routinely walk to the train station from here without problem. I think some may be uncomfortable late at night (after dark) with the walk though because there are quite a few people who just stand around in dark alleys and such. Directly behind the hotel is an area with several bars and such that may be worthwhile places to go for a drink. It is a common hang-out spot for young adults and such so there is a little bit of life around that part. Overall I think the Costantinopoli is just average: the nestled location of the hotel is great for peace and quiet making it a good place to sleep but the poor service just screams of a hotel that is trying to cut corners to make a buck. Who knows what other corners get cut?

Yelp
We did enjoy our stay but not as much as we expected. The layout is very confusing, especially on first arrival with a labyrinth of gated entrances to navigate without any instruction. First find an out of reach doorbell to get buzzed in, than figure out how to walk to reception with your bags, and which door to enter, etc, with no signs for direction anywhere. Also, I feel that a hotel with a "4 star" rating should ALWAYS have an elevator and this one does not. We were on the 3rd floor so carrying bags etc can get a bit tiresome. The tiny TV (more like a small computer monitor) was supposed to include SKY TV but since no-one could get it to work, we were told the reason was that it was Pay Per View only. But we did get about 50 channels of Italian infomercials which were funny for a minute. Breakfast was excellent with high quality cakes, pastries and some hot items and excellent servers and cappucini. The people were very nice, but all in all I just don't think it serves the 4 star rating, without some updating and refurbishment.
