We booked a two bedroom suite for 2 nights and couldn't expect a better stay. We were warmly welcomed. The suite is very spacious with 80 sqm, it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the pool and ocean. The suite has been recently renovated, it is beautifully decorated and the bedding is very comfortable. We had all our meals at the beach restaurant as the food is very tasty. They offer an excellent breakfast from 8 to 10am, with a choice of local or American options. The location of the property is the best, on a magnificent beach. The value for money is unbeatable. Will definitely come back next year as we fell in love with the destination.

About the location, they dont have a private beach, they have access to the public beach across the street (that's false advertising). About service, Our room was full of mosquitoes and when we ask the font desk for some help they offered a racquet! To spend our leisure time killing their plague!!!! I understand the girls are trying to do the best with what they have and is not their fault, they tried to be helpful but that shouldn't be the help when we all know the mosquitoes transmit decease. Breakfast is too limited (only 2 options) and even coffee is self served, beside the breakfast was cold Wifi sucks!!!! The tv couldnt connect or even the phones get a good service Sorry but absolutely not coming back!!!! Overpriced and not safe for health. In 2025 a mosquitoes plague and no good wifi? Thats unacceptable

I love this place , very convenient great price . We go every 6 weeks . Breakfast included . Dominican and American plates , with mix fruits , juice and coffee . We spend our time at the beach . We only go to the room the bath and sleep and that’s plenty for us !! Going back on June 19th, for 3 nights ! I always recommend this place to our friends !

Room with comfortable pillows and beds. But low security! Service is very good and friendly however breakfast portion is poor and limited Location has the beach right in front from hotel but there i's a super dangerous busy street to cross to get to the beach (be careful). Overall 3.5 out of 5

I can't speak to the hotel itself because I didn't stay there but I just received possibly the best massage I've ever had. It will be the best $50 you spend in a long time!

For the price and location this place is great! My AC didn’t work but I was just here two nights and it blew cool enough air to keep me cool at night. I’d stay here again. It’s easy to walk everywhere from here, so it’s in a good location. And it has hot water. So there was that… view from my room

Carmen, thank you for the welcome, the excellent recommendations and the outstanding customer service. The girls from the restaurant in front of the hotel, were always with a big smile and good breakfast. Daniel helped us with the beach chairs and always put himself available in case we needed him. You guys made me and my mom the best vacation. And I have to thank you all

My husband and I were traveling the north coast of the country and had no firm plans, so we did not prebook our stay. Once in Las Terrenas, we Googled hotels and this one popped up. It is a hidden gem. It is in a great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we were happy. The hotel, grounds, and rooms are spotless. The room was so clean and I am very picky about cleanliness. Costarena is just what you think of when you think of a beach hotel. The decor is very cute and the rooms are simple and comfortable. If you are expecting a newly renovated, “fancy” hotel, this isn’t for you. The hotel is steps from its own private beach and has a pool. Our room has its own balcony that got a beautiful breeze in the afternoons and evenings. The air conditioning worked perfectly too. The hotel / beach has a small restaurant. We only ate breakfast (free!), because there were so many other food options close by. The food was solid - not amazing, but certainly good. The front desk helped us book massages, which were also amazing. Finally, the price cannot be beat. I highly recommend Costarena!
