Costco Wholesale

My husband and I got gifted a membership for Christmas. We went this past Sunday and loved it HOWEVER when we were checking out at the register, and had just put our membership cards back in our wallet a lady who I think was a manager maybe? Asked to see our membership cards. Why?! You can’t check out or get into the store without showing your membership so why did we need to show it for a 3rd time? That interaction turned me off but we will still be shopping there. It made us feel like she was profiling us for no reason.

We go to Costco at least once a month. I just bought 4 new tires at Costco Tire Center. They look great these Michelin Pilot Sport 4 40 series for my Toyota GR86 sports coupe.

It is December 22 and I have just had the best experience I’ve ever had at Costco. No one should ever have fun at Costco on December 22. However, Sky and Veya deserve gold medals or mad props or high-fives or whatever it is people do to recognize good service. Sky was friendly and jovial when people were rushing. He made good conversation, but kept the line moving. Veya actually went shopping for me! When I realized how inexpensive one product was, I decided I wanted to buy three more and she had no issues running many aisles into the store to grab three additional items for me while Sky continued checking me out. These two are quite a team. As an aside, my Dad passed a few weeks ago. This is a bit of a tough Christmas for me, making this checkout interaction even more meaningful. Thank you for making my morning so unexpectedly pleasant. Merry Christmas, Sky and Veya!

This is one of the best Costco's I've come across! We made a pitstop on our way to Atlanta from the northern states and were very impressed with the standards of quality here and organization. Kind people, good service, clean atmosphere, good products. Costco has carwashes?? We had already gotten one or we would have tried it out.

Loved every bit of shopping from here! 🥰 out of everything milk chocolate with raisins are my favourite go to pack. Also I never miss eating pizza slice at the end 😋 The store seemed very organised and the salespeople were very friendly with me.

This Costco has the worst customer service. Today was the second time we went in and no one wanted to help us. We waited in a checkout line and told the cashier we wanted to buy one of the sofas. The cashier sent us to customer service. We waited at the customer service line. Finally got up to customer service and told them we wanted to buy a sofa and we’d take one box and come back for the other two. The customer service employee told us that we would need to purchase the sofa first (duh) but that we would have to go wait back in the cashier line. We tried to explain to the customer service employee that the cashier sent us there to purchase the sofa but was still told we’d have to go wait through the cashier lines again. We previously purchased a Nintendo switch at the customer service counter so I know they have the ability to check customers out. I don’t understand how you have a job, customer service, that you don’t want to do. There’s a lack of training or communication here.

We were unloading the last of our cart but were stopped and told by staff at the register they’d take care of the rest. Then leaving the store we were stopped for several minutes and told the items on the bottom of the cart were not on the receipt. The staff at the register did not finish unloading the cart. We were then told we had to wait for a supervisor to come up. After he arrived, we had to go back into the busy store to finish checking out. Finally we were told we were “allowed” to leave with no apology from any staff. Their online delivery is also horrible.

Paid for a Membership to see if I liked it, since we absolutely love Sam’s Club. And after the 2/3 time of going (1st time going early) I was informed I could go in before 10 since I wasn’t an executive member. Thankfully Sam’s was right down the road. And it just reassured us that we will not be renewing our membership with them

All Costco locations are essentially the same but they do not carry all the same products. This location is definitely far from my local Costco but it has some of the things my local Costco does not so it's worth a trip every so often. I noticed some of the groceries here are a bit more expensive but just by a few cents to $$$, perhaps it's the location but other products are a less expensive too so I guess it just varies by Costco location.

It was fine today but I'm over Costco . It's not as nice as it used to be . Came in for garbage bags , came out with $500. Worth of nothing . You know how it goes . We did have one nasty encounter with the sample lady . That used to be the best part on Saturday mornings . Some of my favorite shoppings with my mom , grandma and my kids was pushing the littles around and eating pretty much your lunch in samples . They don't have as many now . But my husband got a sample today and asked this mean old lady what it was, and she told him to read the sign . Like really ? You must hate your job . If it were up to me I'd transfer to Sam's club or just shop at Aldi . The experience just isn't there anymore especially when you're dropping some serious change in there . The parking lot at the Nashville locations are nightmares too . I refuse to drive my vehicle there . Too clustered and tight . And extremely long lines that are confusing . Today was okay though as far as the line . I don't know , I just don't get why people like it there . They also have cheap clothes that are ugly and run like super big .

Visited 6/10/2024 7PM. Came to add an additional member to our membership. While waiting in the membership line there was only one representative to assist members and two others helping with returns. Not sure what was happening at the counter but something needed management approval. The manager took forever to come and we were finally helped 30m later. The food court also was out of pretty much all options. My order took roughly 16m to complete which feels really long when you watch others put their orders in after you then receive it before. This and other Tn locations do not have as many diverse food and beverage options as other states.

Who doesn't love Costco? This location is no different. They literally have it all! Toilet paper to last you years at a time, tires, produce and the most random gifts. This location is probably my favorite one I've been to yet.... very well organized and the layout just makes sense. Great meat and seafood selection, literally anything you can think of, they have. Sometimes I go and load up on everything, sometimes I literally walk out with the largest package of hot sauce and feta cheese and nothing else. Always a gamble. Only downer, parking. But that's cause everyone else loves the place as much as I do.

CAR WASH REVIEW ONLY - please update it! $7.99 isn't a deal if it doesn't work! The front of the car doesn't look like it got sprayed at all! It's been like this for awhile, each time I try it out hoping it's gotten fixed/better... and it hasn't.

Oh Costco, you have my heart...and I will gladly continue to give $60 per year so I can spend hundreds of dollars monthly on things I never knew I needed in bulk. This Costco is situated in Brentwood/Cool Springs/Franklin area and has to be one of the sweetest locations I have have visited. It has all your standard areas including pharmacy, tire center, photos, electronics, gas station, etc...but this spot has the added luxury of a car wash and solid sized liquor store. My only complaint with the liquor store is they don't sell Kirkland branded booze, which is lame...but that is on TN, not Costco. In addition to all that they offer, the service has always stellar at this location. From entry to the service desk, in the aisles, food counter and all the way to the exit...the folks that work at this location are friendly and helpful! Store is always well stocked, clean and is in good condition. Overall, I am a fan of Costco and a constant at this location!

Spoke with Tammie today upper manager of costco after continued problems with the tireshop ..I can tell you she was right on it and resolved the problem Quickly and Efficiently I'm glad they have management that Can Direct people how to do the right thing I don't like going to management but after several attempts I had no other choice

This is a Costco like most Costcos. A big warehouse store with wide array of products. We wanted to stop by for fresh fish and we picked up Chilean sea bass as well as some wine, shrimp, hard seltzer, live plants, coffee and on and on. The selection is good, most prices are very good. We really like Costco!

OPTICAL only This place needs to be "mystery shopped".... Literally the rudest people. Very "un Costco".... More "Walmart"...

Costco, as a whole, is good. This location, as a whole, isn't. Your membership is better used at a location without such long gas and checkout lines. The site was once the right size. Now, it's too small for the population. You're likely to spend as much time in line getting in, shopping, getting fuel, or getting out, than at other retailers.

My family and I decided we would give it a try after being faithful Sam's Club members for over 20 years. We arrived and were provided a visitor pass to look around but not actually purchase items. To purchase we would need to purchase a full membership. So my initial thought was wow it feels disorganized and items were not grouped together at the door. For example, there were clothes, wine, food, etc right at the door. It felt disorganized and overwhelming. I am use to entering Sam's to a more open structured area. As we walked around we kept saying this is the exact stuff at Sam's and never figured out the hype. Plus the prices were about the same! We actually priced a few items at both stores and there were close to the same. Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see rotisserie chickens that we love at Sam's. Plus the bakery section seemed basic without the beautiful cakes, cupcakes, and breads at Sam's. After walking around we realized we ate too loyal to Sam's and don't think Costco is the change we were looking for. Do we left and headed right back to our Sam's!

Optical Dept review Way understaffed. Currently an hour into my wait to be seen with no hope in sight. This is the norm here

I feel like I am in Brentwood Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, several times a year. No kidding, the gas at Costco is about $.30 cheaper than surrounding gas stations. If you are south of the city and driving through town, pull over and get gas! Costco has it going for them. Know that you will probably wait in line for a super long time, as all the locals know this fact... But if you are looking to save a few pennies, Costco is the place! After getting gas, I ran inside to get some NyQuil (honestly, I shop for the necessities, lol). It was a quick in and out trip, but with the Costco app, I was able to quickly grab what I needed and head to the self check out. Unfortunately, all employees need to enter your birthday when you buy cold medicine... So just be aware that might cause a slight delay in getting out of the door quickly; however, the employees that were there that night were on it! It was quick and simple. I love looking around Costco for some great deals--and there is certainly a time and a place--but I loved the quick in and out this time. It did exactly what I needed it too!

I will be canceling my Costco membership for y'all firing Matt!!! He is disabled and if he did do something wrong you should be more understanding! I hope yall get sued like crazy out of this!!

Whoever "James" is at the Costco fuel station in Brentwood, he's a grouchy old guy who shouldn't be leading other people. While getting gas today, I saw him yelling at the younger employees...l"just shut up and do as I say." Unfortunate and unnecessary.

This is for the optical- over the past week we have witnessed the most grossly inefficiently run operation. We have spent 5 hours total and have nothing to show for it observing the people working at the optical. We have seen them be rude to elderly people, show favoritism and as a result could likely use some DEI training. Colter for examples averages 1 customer per hour and blames his slowness and inability to help on his supervisor getting angry at him and penalizing him for having to pay overtime. We saw him mistreat a Latin family that had also waited over 2 hours. They weee very nice and we saw his colleague trying to pressure them and me into leaving despite arriving early and despite being logged into their queue that means nothing. This optical needs mostly new people. The attitudes are bad. As a shareholder of Costco I could not be more in awe ar wha to have witnessed which must indicate the leadership is even poorer.

Came here to grab some snacks and fruit, lots of parking, not too many people, staff wears masks. No samples at the moment or maybe I came too late in the day. Grabbed a churro on the way out, wasn't very good because it wasn't crispy, just a bit soft and not that great. Gas is super cheap, cheaper than the Costco gas in Nashville.

Love Costco! Always helpful. Great value. The gas is so much cheaper than Franklin that with just regular amount of driving it would pay for the membership. It is also very high quality gas.

I lost my handicap plaque in the Costco parking lot 2-days ago. When I asked to see if anyone surrendered it, the man behind the membership desk said he threw it away. I just feel a kind human being would have kept it as a lost and found item. He wasn't apologetic at all :(

There is no place like Costco. They got the samples back! Definitely a great for the fam every time we soo there. And I also feel very safe about the fact that they have a return policy, in case something doesn't work or isn't a right fit. Side note: their watermelon is to die for, and good job Costco for having more and more organic products to keep our bodies healthy!!

This has been my go to Costco location for many years, the staff is very friendly and always looking to help. I will say the people who give out samples arent usually the most friendly and look at you like you are a crazy person for saying thank you to them.

My first trip physically to Costco in a year. I bought something I sampled and got home to make it. I opened the box and it was filled with bugs. Maggots seeds spilled all over me and my kitchen. Absolutely disgusting that they would sell this and feed it to people. I can't have the only bad batch.

Visiting from NOLA and needed supplies so decided to pop in the local Costco. Which is when I realized I have been very spoiled by my own Costco parking lot. This one has much tighter parking spaces and a much smaller parking lot in general. Great service and employees, checkout was smooth sailing. Will be back!

Good: competitive, if not cheaper prices on brand name items from food to electronics, tools, household goods, and more. Maybe not so: The yearly cost (basic membership $60 per year). Good: Tires and car service generally get high ratings. Maybe not so: The check out lines are generally long, although there are now self-check out registers if you have just a few items. Good: Vision and Eye Glasses services are much lower than other commercial establishments. (You will have to check to see if you insurance carrier is accepted here.) Maybe not so: The food "court" - most people #love the hot dogs but as with all their products the flavor and appeal comes with a weighty fat and calorie component. Toss-up Good: Gasoline prices are usually about 50 cents cheaper per gallon than other stations. (You still need you card to pump gas....so gas pumps are not open to the general public.) Maybe not so: If you have a vary large family or are shopping for family and friends (or for charity organizations as I sometimes do)...the large portions you must buy can be a deterrent. But price per item/ounce/etc is usually good. Toss-up. Good: Wine and beer prices: very competitive, especially the wines. I've really only scratched the surface of the LARGE warehouse....so I'll pause here and simply leave you with the admonition: Shop carefully, my friend.

This is a great store with employees who care. The store is always well stocked and very neat. I also believe the buyers are smart and their choices with products in the store is outstanding!

I spent several hours shopping only to be denied purchase because the membership expired. It's a business membership with several employees. I'm not authorized to renew it but happy to tell the owner to do so. I asked if they could make an exception but nope. Horrible customer service. Funny I was able to get gas as a one time exception but not purchase goods for the business. I'll be sure to let the owner know to obtain a membership at Sam's Club instead.

I love Costco. They have good quality products at great prices. And they have a very good return policy.

Let me just tell y'all about Kyle the gas line attendant...he saved my day!! My car battery died... in the gas line...with 100 degree heat...and my kid in tow. I don't know a think about cars..Kyle noticed I was in distress, got my car out of the way and jumped it (twice) all while getting me and my son cold waters and Gatorades and the biggest smile on his face and sweetest disposition. I mean he really restored my faith in humanity today...can't say enough good things about this man!!

This has to be the mother of Costco Wholesales. The Brentwood Costco is filled with not only the standard pharmacy, tire center, and photo center, but they also have newer features like self-checkout for members and the option to add a carwash to your delightfully cheaper gas. Yes, it's always crowded, but with deals like Costco's, it's difficult to find yourself anywhere else early on Saturday mornings. I want to specifically highlight the amazing team at Costco tires. I bought a set of tires in Chicago around 2-3 years ago. My Subaru dealership did an electronic diagnostic, and they wanted me to replace the entire set. After I had purchased an entirely new set of tires, the honorable men and women at this specific tire location called me to let me know I didn't actually need a new set. The front desk staff member at the time walked me to member services for a full refund - despite a long, harrowing, and slightly peeved line of customers. They were thoughtful, considerate, and willing to go the extra mile for even a clueless tire afficianado like myself. There have been slight hiccups with service people forgetting to check certain items (like Le Croix at the bottom of my cart), but I've never met a more devoted and efficient Costco team. They will have you in and out within a few minutes. Well, unless you made the rookie mistake of going to Costco on Sunday, at any hour. Truly, this Costco sets the standard high for not just the brand but big box stores everywhere.

The person who helped me was just super friendly, took time and explained things. Took off one star forthe selection of frames.

I went to this Costco for the first time on a rainy, I was feeling sick Friday evening and I'm thankful I did. After not having the greatest experience at the other Costco location this one more than made up for it. Clean and well put together. Everyone was nice and ready to assist. Their stock was awesome and variety was well worth the trip. Im glad I took this detour it's closer to me and definitely a better experience.

Used covid to cheap out on the food court menu options. I'm told none of the prior selection is coming back. Really? They made how much on toilet paper and cut out costumer service for my hungry belly? You can't say it's for safety. Just awful.

DON'T BUY APPLIANCES THAT HAVE TO BE DELIVERED!!!!! They Don't take responsibility for the 3rd parties that they hire to deliver and those 3rd parties could care less about wasting your time with "prioritizing; a delivery. They have WASTED 4 DAYS and lied about all of it.  BEWARE!!!!! They are so far removed and have so little to do with the deliveries that the result is (by design) they cant help you at all. IF you buy GE from costco you are rolling the dice!  GE uses a company Called Mashburn in la vergne tn to do the deliveries and they are useless and rude.  Good Luck if you buy here, you'll need it!!!

Awesome place and much better than local Sam's Club ... easy access in and out, clean and other than large portions great prices

We try to go into Costco in every state we visit. We found this one in Tennessee. The warehouse is great. My 3* IS SOLEY for the food court. The hotdogs are spot on like always. But we saw, that they sell a cheeseburger. So of course it's Costco, we had to try it. VERY disappointing. To start, The bread to meat ratio was way off Way too much bread!! The meat was cold and dry, with not much flavor. The cheese was not melted, not even a bit. The bread was cold too. Tasteless. So needless to say, you really dropped the ball in this cheeseburger. We say, "If Costco doesn't have it; you don't need it." But if you can't bring up the quality of this burger, then stop selling it. Stick to what you do best, hot dogs, chicken bakes, pizza, and salad. I'm just sayin'.

A wonderful Costco with very caring staff who look at the whole picture with service. The store is clean, well stocked, excellent gas prices and even a car wash. This Costco provides the service Costco is known and successful for. Kudos to a wonderful location.

I do love Costco. Have been shopping at Costco ever since I could remember, while living in New York. This location is always congested. I try not to go on the weekends and only early morning or mid afternoon. They do offer an array of organic frozen products and carry many different items. I do wish they were a little consistent with what they carry. One week something is there, then it's gone for another few weeks. Overall it's a good place to shop and their price match and return policy is amazing.

Excited to become a member of Costco until we dealt with some of the rudest employees. The card lady was talking to the other employee more than dealing with us. The door greeter stared us up and down and finally said who is 60. The cashier mumbled I need your drivers license and again mumbled drivers license. I am ready to give my membership back. No customer service skills at all.

No matter how busy this place is, they always have their act together to take care of the people they are very organized and do a great job!

Where do I begin with Costco... this is probably one of my favorite places to shop. Costco has basically everything, and they only stock high quality products, so it's probably a safe bet no matter what your buying. If you haven't shopped at Costco, here's the run down: 1. You gotta be a member. Yes it cost money, but you get access to some seriously great deals. 2. Most items are sold in bulk. Want Salsa? You're gonna have to buy 2 gallons worth of salsa at once. And it'll cost like 13 bucks, but that's way more worth it for a a small quart at 6 bucks. 3. Gas is also way cheaper. Non-premium is generally 20-30 cents cheaper than other gas stations. 4. Service is fantastic. I've become friends with the people that work there. That's because they have such low turnover because employees love working there. And you see that when you talk to them. 5. Samples. Walk in on a Saturday... at the beginning of many isles are samples of (most of the time) food. Everything from tuna to gourmet brownies. You could eat all the samples and make a meal out of it. I'm sure there are many other fantastic things about Costco, but to keep it concise, Costco is great. Give it a try, I don't think you'll regret it.

he one star is for the ridiculous policy started 1 May requiring all to wear masks be worn upon entering the store. when the data is getting better things are getting better stores are opening up. The cases turned out not as bad as they anticipated and now they're putting more restrictions? if they were so concerned why didn't they require masks for the past month but now when things are so much better you have to have a mask on this is nonsense no other store is doing this. I lost respect for Costco I'm boycotting it and not coming here I canceled my membership and going to Sam's Club around the corner. boycott the disgusting fascist communist company!

Costco just seems to do everything right. Their return policy is excellent so I can buy with confidence. Almost from the beginning of the pandemic, they have adhered to CDC guidelines and are the only store that I have seen that requires masks. They have self checkout at the Brentwood warehouse which I use almost exclusively. I see them regularly disinfecting. Thank you Costco for working hard to keep us safe and provide senior hours for vulnerable individuals.

Drove 40 minutes to get to this Costco with my family. Costco wouldn't allow us to come in because they say there's a "2 people limit" and I was forced to leave. This is so stupid. You have 1,000 people inside your building and you're worried about me coming in with my family of 3? Worst Costco ever. (AND WE CALLED YESTERDAY TO CONFIRM THIS)

I recently visited my local Costco that I have gone to regularly for years. First off, I love Costco but the Costco Carwash...not so much and never again! I usually hand wash my cars but my fiancé and I took my FJ Cruiser thru the wash in 9/9/2020 bc I was in a bit of a rush. I won't get in a rush again. She and I both heard and felt two separate and noticeably abrupt thumps while going thru the wash. I got out of my car immediately after exiting the wash and noticed black marks on the hood and roof of my car. The wash attendant was extremely polite and assured me the claims department is very good about taking care of issues like mine. Fast forward and the 3rd party claims company said there wasn't enough evidence to prove the car wash cause the marks on my car. I was shocked and extremely upset to hear this. I made sure the representative was well aware of my frustrations. She might as well have called me a liar. I told her what happened and she told me it didn't happen...so I must be lying. Not once did she give me an example of "adequate evidence". I took my issue to the on-duty manager at the local Costco and he was helpful but still said there's nothing they can do bc their car wash doesn't leave black marks on cars. I know those marks were not on my vehicle when I entered the car wash. So we can agree to disagree Costco. Lesson learned, now it's my problem to fix. That's the last $8 Costco will get from me at the Carwash. Think twice before you use the Costco Car Wash. It has not been a good experience for me after this event.

Love Costco! Great employees who are very helpful. The clothes section is criminally underrated.

I made a HUGE mistake and got glasses here. It turns out the temples were way too short. They should check stuff like this out for their customers before their glasses are ordered! Never again will I ever deal with Costco's optical department!! Oh, and don't waste your time going to this Costco location- go to Nashville West instead. The traffic around this Costco is so much worse than Nashville West!

Back in the beginning of February I went into this Costco to buy some Sketchers Shoes I remember seeing there a week prior. I bought them and they were really comfortable but they only lasted about 3-4 months before falling apart on me. Now I know Sketchers is a good brand which I have had in the past which have lasted years. That's why I went with buying those. Since they fell apart on me I called Costco customer service they apologized for the poor quality and said I could return them no problem. So I went back to the same Costco as I bought them to return them. The gentleman named Daryl D helped me and he was nice but had to get his supervisor to approve the return. She came up and immediately looked at the shoes and looked at me and back at the shoes. She said these are completely worn out and destroyed and you want a refund?? When did you say you bought these shoes?? I showed her the receipt that I purchased them on February 2, 2019. She said there is no way with how these look unless I went running/hiking daily on some intense trails with how worn out they look inside/out. I said I don't jog or hike in them all I do is wake up and go to work and go back home. At work I stand at a desk all day helping customers. I told her I have never had a pair of shoes last this this before. She looked back at me in a irritating way and said these are only sketchers their not made to last. She then said she will only refund me this one time and she is putting a mark/note on my account because of this issue. That supervisor was super rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I will not be shopping at this Costco anymore because of her attitude towards me. I will be taking my business else where. Even if Sketchers was a low quality shoe, you can make them last at least a year example I bought a pair of shoes from Walmart that were on clearance for $3 and it lasted for 11 months. Before I had to get rid of them. So I think the pair I got was defective and not made correctly. The customer service supervisor at this Costco is a pain to deal with. I have never been treated like that while trying to return something that I was told I could return. Sent from my iPhone
