Costco Wholesale is a members-only warehouse selling a huge variety of items including bulk groceries, electronics & more here at 1 Yorktech Drive, Markham, Ontario, Canada.

A smaller Costco location. Has all the same sections as a regular/large sized Costco (toys, clothes, food, optical, pharmacy, technology, smartphones, TVs, random stuff, etc). We actually ended up buying some on sale stuff. Some food and some clothes. The clothes were really nice. Fall/autumn type button up shirts. One was fluffy on the inside and the other was a heavy duty one. Good clothing for good prices. Costco is in Christmas season. Oh and I found out this cool thing: Hogwarts Tea (Harry Potter). There are 240 teabags inside. I almost wanted to get it, but I couldn't justify to my parents. But it was cool seeing Hogwarts Tea. It was kind of funny too. Overall, smaller Costco. Surprisingly had good deals today (food and clothing). Some of the clothing deals wasn't on the flyer.

4.5 stars. Great location, albeit a little smaller than other Costco locations. Ample parking but weekends you may have difficulties finding a spot as the plaza next door gets very full too. Most sales go quickly here and I don't find they restock as quickly as other Costcos. I do get good customer service here, and the line ups move quickly so it is well staffed.

I’m considering whether keeping my Costco membership is still worth it. In the past, I could buy most of my essentials at a reasonable price, but now, even though I try to limit my shopping, I can’t manage to get everything I need. Prices have gone up significantly, and most of the discounts are mainly on snacks and non-essential items. It’s honestly quite disappointing.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Costco food court in Markham (1 Yorktech Dr, Markham, ON, L6G 1A6) on August 24, 2025. My order number was 110 (receipt time 14:36, total $7.33). I ordered two hot dog combos and a fries. When it was time to pick up my order, the staff did not clearly call my number. Instead of saying “110,” she kept shouting “10” and “010.” I was standing nearby the whole time but never heard my number being called properly. When I went up, she angrily told me she had called five times, which was not true from what I heard. To make things worse, the fries were not even ready when I got there. It felt very unprofessional and rude to be blamed for something that wasn’t my fault. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful service. Costco really needs to improve staff training on customer interaction.

I’ve bought a prescription eye glasses with a reading eye glasses for $634 Canadians. It was a terrible experience not feeling comfortable although I went back twice to them for the same issue. On top of that I went back to my eye doctor who said the prescription is fine, but I came to a conclusion that the quality is really bad of the glasses it self. Honestly I will go back to buy them from online for a fraction of the price and the quality is not compromised. I’ve been using online for my eye glasses for more than 10 years without issues. Never again Costco. Over priced bad quality

Has everything you could expect. Don’t forget your $1.50 hotdog and drink and or ice cream on your way out.

Noticeably cleaner and tidier than some other Costco locations! And brighter on sunny days with skylights. Note that this Costco does not have a gas station and the tire shop does not do oil changes. And the parking lot is relatively tight and gets filled at the busiest times. On the other hand, this Costco is noticeably cleaner and tidier than some other locations on top of having the usual popular selection of products. Costco also sells wine and beer now and this location had genuine French Champagne prominently displayed December 2024, the highest priced alcoholic beverage available in store at $69.99. Guess that works well with the gold that they sell in store too! Great hotdog/sausage with fill as much as you like fountain drink deal for $1.50+tax, a Costco staple. Did you know that chopped onions are available if you ask? This location has two condiments stations (instead of the usual one) which positively make a difference during busy times! And a huge area has been set aside with tables for both sitting and standing. Thank you Costco for making these simple yet notable improvements! Enjoy the benefits that membership has to offer!
