I’ve been a regular at Costco Senter Rd, and overall, it's a solid experience. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to find what I need. The variety of products is impressive, especially the fresh food section – the produce is consistently good, and the meat department offers great quality. The staff is usually friendly and efficient, although the checkout lines can sometimes be a bit long, especially during peak hours. Parking can be tricky, but there’s usually plenty of space if you’re willing to walk a bit further. The prices are competitive, and the membership definitely pays off in the long run. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to stock up on essentials and enjoy good deals, but be prepared for the occasional crowd.

Typical Costco with many products and great price values. This one is more optimized to Asian market, I’d say, as it carries more Asian products than other Costcos that I visited in the middle part of Bay Area, between San Francisco and San Jose. Of course, it also has many merchandise that are for general markets rather than the ones caters to ethnicity as well. The food court is as busy as always. The lines are super long. We waited for more than half an hour to get 2 hot dogs.

Not sure if it's all Costcos but the produce here is always going bad. Do suppliers just offload their worst batches to Costco knowing it's acceptable? Same goes for moldy bread, garlic, etc.

On August 15 My wife and my Niece, they went to shop at Costco in San Jose , Ca at Senter Rd . My Niece she bought some chips and cookies total around $21.22 . She gave the cashier $40 but he gave her only .78 cent . My Niece told him I gave you $40 why you gave me change only .78 cent . He reply you gave me only $ $22 . So she asked the manager to check the cameras. And she said they can’t hold up the line . She told her go home and wait the end of the day they will collect the money from the cash register, if they have extra money they will call her to get the change . Yesterday they call her come to Costco to get the change . My question is when the cashier he take the money he didn’t look or check how much the customers give to him . So that why I will give this Costco 1 star

I got a weed and grass killer Round Up brand, which, as shown in the picture, doesn't have a price. But the picture also shows another weed killer, but this one does have a price. When I went to customer service to get a price match, the excuse was that I needed to check the codes to make sure it was the correct one. How could a customer compare codes and check the names on labels, when we are just going to the store to buy a product not to look and check for the labels and codes. This was a very unprofessional excuse to justify a mistake by the store, or specifically by the employees.

I am disgruntled by their poor customer service. I had to return some pants that weren't sewn properly so they had weird bulges (etc). I walked to enter the store and the guy at the door barked some confusing instructions to me. I explained that I was there to return and he waved his hand in a vague direction and said something I could not understand. So I just walked in and approached a woman with a Costco vest. He yelled something to her about me needing a scan. She asked me for my Costco card and asked what my purpose was and I answered. She then barked at me to that I had to go stand between some yellow lines and wait to be called. I walked over and stood there fr ten seconds when a clerk called me back - I was literally 1 meter from where I interacted with that woman. This Costco location has really gone down hill - maybe because it is located in this part of San Jose? I urge people to go to a different Costco where they still know about customer service. Here's a tip for Costco - we customers are not trained for your workplace. Hence, you cannot expect customers to know your policies and procedures. If you wish to remain in business, you must learn how to explain your policies clearly, coherently and politely. Also, maybe make your policies and procedures less confusing so non-employees feel comfortable at your store. (Also, if you post more than 3 or 4 signs then there are too many) I used to be impressed with the caliber of Costco employees. Sigh. Times have changed.
