This Costco location is less crowded, on average, than the Scarborough location off Warden. Selection is reasonable, employees are helpful and quite pleasant, and the checkout lines move through steadily. We have used their deli for sandwich and baked goods trays for family events and have been pleased. We have used both their optometrist and their dispensing opticians and found them dependable, if a bit sluggish.
Their snack bar serves typical Costco hot food, which always is an inexpensive meal - in particular their smoked meat sandwiches are delicious, excellent value for what they cost, and their dill pickles are delightfully crunchy. They sell sushi at the snack bar; IMHO better to buy a sushi assortment tray inside the store for comparable per-piece value and some variety. Note: a while back Costco switched from Pepsi to Coke beverages, if that is an issue for you. At this location, as yet, you can enter their snack bar without displaying a Costco card to an employee (I believe that has been an issue on the west coast).
This is our regular Costco outlet. Expect difficulty finding lot parking on weekends; people often park on the back street, the lot is so full.
Please note this location does NOT have gasoline pumps.
