We love here and the people at Cosy Guest House.
We are two Japanese women traveling in India for the first time.
Cosy Guest House was like a sanctuary in Jodhpur for us. The main streets of Jodhpur were noisy with honking and we sometimes felt chaotic, but Cosy Guest House was quiet, clean, and peaceful. If we hadn’t stayed here, our Jodhpur trip would have been totally different.
The people here were warm-hearted. we stayed in a clean, blue-colored room with AC and hot water(Don’t forget to turn on the boiler if you want hot water.) and we enjoyed lots of tasty Indian food!!!
They cooked food after ordered so always we could eat fresh food!
Every morning, The sunrise from Cosy Guest House was absolutely beautiful. The sun rose behind Mehrangarh Fort, and combined with the blue city of Jodhpur, the view was unbelievably stunning.
On the first day, Jimmy helped us to get to a safe ATM on his bike. Riding a bike through the narrow streets of Jodhpur was thrilling and unforgettable! He has excellent skill at navigating those streets. He also helped us arrange a tuktuk tour of Jodhpur, visit his uncle’s clothing shop, go on a village safari, and see Kunj Bihari Temple. We had amazing experiences!
We felt he was born to run a guest house!
Dilip, Vipin, and Jimmy made us feel happy, comfortable, and safe. They were so kind, reliable, with great hospitality and the sweetest smiles.
(They communicate nicely, so If you want a time by yourself, they will respect your space.)
We also took Jimmy's mom's cooking class at “The Raj Mandir Boutique Home Stay,” another guest house of theirs, located in a beautiful heritage home. If you want to stay in a gorgeous room with amazing stone architecture and a rooftop with a 360° view of Jodhpur, I highly recommend staying there! We learned how to make butter paneer masala curry, okra curry, and pulao from his mom. Everything was amazing, and we’re grateful to have learned these Indian homemade recipes. Jimmy’s cute sister, Shampoo, also taught us how to make chai! :)
All of Jimmy’s family are so kind and open-minded. We are truly grateful to have stayed at Cosy Guest House!
We miss the place and the people so much! We really want to come back again!🩵
