Cotela - Coreanos Tequila Lounge (코텔라)

We stopped by Coreanos Kitchen while browsing the shopping district in the area on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We ordered the seven tacos platter to share with the jalapeno nachos. We really enjoyed the free nachos and four styles of salsa. The margaritas were super delicious and well worth ordering. Everything was amazing. We were extremely satisfied with our meal! We would definitely go back. Servers had a good working knowledge of English and were very friendly and accommodating. Worth visiting!

Can't ask for much more when looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Korea. Food is good and the prices are very reasonable especially for the Gangnam area. I got the steak burrito which was great. The steak was cooked medium rare and there was plenty in the burrito. My friend got the quesadilla supreme which was good and big. I got a beet to drink and they got a strawberry margarita which was well made. If you are in the area I would recommend giving this place a try.

Coreanos completely revamped their place. It went from fusion Mex restaurant to a tequila bar that serves higher quality Mexican food. All the tequilas here are made from 100% blue agave. If you've only had cheap tequila like Jose Cuervo, then you definitely need to try the better stuff out there. I highly recommend the cocktails here. The chef heading the menu is from Epicerie Collage (French fine dining) in Hannam-Dong and has worked at multiple Michelin star restaurants in France. They've switched to higher quality ingredients which also means higher prices. I highly recommend the carne asada tacos. The tortilla texture is nothing like you'll get anywhere else in Korea. Great for a unique experience, especially since it's the first tequila bar in Korea.

This place has some damn good food! Especially the pork belly tacos! The three wise fries and the cinnamon toast cream were tasty as well. This establishment has a good line of beer and cocktails. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Seoul again.

Excellent customer service, good tacos and strong margaritas. Say no more. The ambience was nice. Will definitely come back. In a high end area but this place is classier than most.

Started with the chips and salsa. Satisfied :) The citrus chicken tacos were really good. But god does it need that many onions? The carne asada burrito is a bit sad. I would never order that again. But the fajita set seems legit. By the way the tortillas are pretty good. (Don’t expect authentic) but this Mexican approves..some items. For Korean standard I give them 4 stars for their salsas, jalapeños , cilantro, and having Jarritos. #trustthismexican

Not bad. It is not legit Mexican but fusion wise, its good food. We ordered the couple set and a quesadilla and it was more than enough for three people. We ordered an extra side of guacamole for 3,000won, and it was this miniature scoop of guac... just get the guacamole and chips instead.

Everything is fresh and delicious, been here 4 times and the food was great each time. You can close your eyes and pick anything and you will most likely be satisfied. Fair (alcoholic, mix drink) prices and they play soccer/futbol on the Tele!
