COTO-COTO茶寮 新宿ミロード店

Cute cafe, good for light meals. Excellent quality food, very good service. Just a bit pricey for the amount for the main dishes imo. Desserts seemed well priced tho.

Comfy sofas, nice customer service and tasty food this restaurant have great qualities and is a great place to chill out and eat food either on a date or just alone. The noodles with great texture is accompanied by the outstanding soup which even when full I needed to finish. The salad was great as well, and the little bread crumbs/cubes gave it a little spin. the cutleries r in great conditions and is extremely clean compared to the other restraints I have been in throughout my little trip to Japan this was the best udon place I have been to.(there were others but most of them were so terrible or unknown that it wasn’t on the map💀)

The udon noodles broth was lukewarm. The broth was tasty, but I ordered the genovese based broth and it did not have that genovese taste.

The food is good, but we often encounter the smell of smoke drifting in from the adjacent smoking room, making it quite uncomfortable for non-smokers.

The taste of the udons were just about average. The seats were limited thus may need a longer waiting time

抹茶のパフェは味のバランスよく最後まで美味しかったです。 抹茶の為か甘ったるい感じはなく、割と大人な味わいなのも良いです。 セットのお茶も数杯は飲めるのでお得で美味しくて良かったです🍵

日曜日の14：30頃お伺いしました。ミロードのレストラン街はどこも混んでいてこちらも行列ができていました。20分ほど待って案内されました。 混んでいるので90分制ということは最初に言われました。 食事メニューも気になったのですが、スモアが美味しそうに見えそちらを注文。スモアはドリンクセットでの販売しかありません。メニューの横にはオススメのお茶も書いてあります。 オススメにあった抹茶入り玄米茶を頼みました。 緑茶や紅茶など他のカフェでは見ないようなお茶が豊富にあります。（もちろん普通のソフトドリンクもあります） 飲み物は急須で出てきてお湯が入ったポットを置いて行ってくれます。 2人で90分でポットのお湯を使い切る感じでした。（5.6杯飲んだかな） スモアはとても甘かったですが、お茶とのバランスが取れたので良かったです。

新宿ミロード8階のお店です。休日の夕方に伺いましたが、店内は2組だけで空いていました。日本のお茶セット(1265円)のモンブランタルトを注文しました。モンブランタルトのタルト部分が非常に固く、ナイフがついていなかったのでフォークではなかなか切れず食べづらかったです。煎茶は美味しくいただきました。 椅子は木製で固く、座り心地がよくありませんでした。

Coto-Coto is located at one of the upper floors of Shinjuku Milord. It's very popular with young girls and had a huge line. You have to put your name on the sign in sheet first and select weather you want your own table or the big shared table in the center of the restaurant then have a seat around the corner of the restaurant to wait. I was drawn to the restaurant because of their truffle cream udon. The bowl is huge and they put a raw egg yolk on top, along with several pieces of shaved truffle. When I got the drink, the dish came out very watery and bland. The udon was quite unevenly cut and there wasn't much of a truffle smell, despite several pieces of shaved truffle. The shaved truffle pieces didn't taste or smell much like truffle either. I ended up eating less than a third of the dish and wasting the rest because the dish was disappointing.

Simple and light food with quick service. As busy as the station gets, Coto-Coto is a great option very close to the station it's self.
