Wow! Incredible service! The San Francisco Team went above and beyond to help me with a replacement. I explained my issue at 540pm, took an Uber back to my hotel, and returned. They stayed late, provided possible replacements, and, boom, success! This location is highly recommended.

The staff here is extremely helpful! I wanted to exchange my pack and while looking at options, they actively asked if I wanted to see more options. Anyway I found a color combination I liked and they happily honored an online coupon I had. I will definitely come back to this store. Worth driving nearly an hour for the in person experience. The personal assistance and advice at Cotopaxi was phenomenal! I visited the store to exchange a travel pack for another color. All the color options were shown to me, then other sizes of the travel packs were presented so I could determine the best fit. My husband and I both ended up with packs that were perfect for us. The patience and friendliness of Cotopaxi personnel was impressive. I’ll be back! Cotopaxi is making stuff that no one else is.

They have a great selection of products, and significantly expanded from when they started. Bags of all sizes, duffle bags, backpacks, waist packs, handle bags of different sizes. They have expanded the assortment to include insulated jackets and vests, as well as wind shells and rain shells. Great service and knowledgeable sales people. I remember investing in them and buying product when they were still a Kickstarter company. Boy have they grown! Very savvy merchandising. I hope they continue to do well Do yourself a favor and stop in and take a look

First time I walked in I was overwhelmed by the colorful choices and left the store. I came back after reading about their commitment to fair labor & repurposing fabric waste. The bags are not for the color shy. Frankly, I wish they'd tone done a few with less patchwork & colors, it feels a bit neuvo-hippie. But that's just me. I settled on the Taal Convertible Tote. - Del Dia. I like that it's water resistant, fabric & construction feel sturdy, & packs flat in a suitcase. Minus one star because the salesperson told me it would hold a laptop. I have a MacBook Pro, 14" & you can barely close the zipper because it only fits vertical as the opening is about one inch too narrow. Risking ripping the zipper I was able to jam it in after emptying the bag & then turn the laptop sideways, to fit like a normal laptop bag, only I can't remove the laptop without emptying the bag first. Other than that, lots of smart features, like large exterior zip, interior water bottle holder, adjustable straps that allow for crossbody or backpack configuration. They have warm jackets, pants, accessory bags, backpacks, duffles, much etc. Support sustainability!

I'm excited to see an outdoor gear company that is looking out for the who cycle of their products (manufacturers, the business is a B corporation, and using recycled materials). This Utah headquartered business is opening their first California shop here in Hayes Valley. It's a small space that could be dark but the products are multicolored and brighten up the store! They have mostly bags but also outdoor apparel and accessories. Check them out if you're looking for a gift for an outdoorsy person or just give yourself a gift!

I've been eyeing their backpacks for a long time so I was glad that they had this store open near me. There were a lot of varieties of colors for their bags since they use leftover materials so it was nice to pick out the exact one that I wanted rather than wait to see what I would get had I ordered it online. The staff was also attentive and friendly while also pulling out more options for me to look at when I wanted to see other color combos.

Staff here was very friendly & helpful. We love Cotopaxi, and this store was no exception. Great selection, and the staff even offered to help bring out other del dia options, if we couldn't choose from the inventory that was out. As an indecisive person, I greatly appreciated that. Haha. Even the doorman was very lovely.

Went in to find a jacket. Didn't have the color I want in the store so the salesperson ordered it to be shipped to me. The store is nice, two floors and seems to have more stuff for men than women. Sales staff very nice and helpful but if you need your items right away, please know that if you order it from their website it took weeks before it was shipped. So not fast. Otherwise the jacket I purchase was excellent quality and worth every dollar!

Clean store, alluring displays, and helpful employees. I bought something from their online store and was able to bring it into the store and complete my return within 2 minutes. What more can you ask for?!

Very helpful and great customer service. I will be back in the near future. Cotopaxi usually doesn't fit right on me, but they had stuff you don't see in other stores, and I got something worth purchasing. Sales person was super nice and helped me with my purchase.

i usually dont write reviews on yelp but had such a delightful experience at cotapaxi and needed to share! i came in just to check out the store and one of the workers named julia offered to give me a tour of the store. she explained all of the different types of bags that they carry and all of their clever uses! i ended up getting the tasra backpack and julia brought out several different color combinations to pick from (since they are all unique) to make sure i came home with something i loved. Overall, i felt extremely taken care of, especially for not even coming in with the intent of buying anything. shout out to julia, she's great and i'll definitely be back!
