Cotswold Cottage

A very pleasant B&B just outside Thames. Ideal for exploring the Coromandel Penninsula. Peaceful garden with views over the horse racing track and lovely sunsets.

Property is stunning. Beautiful views and gardens. The spa was lovely and is a nice extra when staying. Hosts were amazing and very flexible with check-in time. Awesome breakfast with a large range of options. Great advice around places to eat. Location is fantastic as it is very close to town but just far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Will look forward to staying here again.

A perfect example of the traditional B & B - charming, welcoming, thoughtful touches (afternoon tea, chocolates), professional hosts (Adrienne & Garth: friendly but not lurkers). Beautiful view of Thames set up high and surrounded by lovely garden, very comfortable bed and great shower. Delicious breakfast with many home-made goodies. Wonderful treat at end of Hauraki Rail Trail. Garth went above and beyond and chauffeured us to dinner and the bust stop in the morning. Would highly recommend!

Stepping Stones cottage was perfect! It was spotlessly clean and very well supplied (loo rolls, fairy liquid, bin bags etc). It is in a perfect position - right in the middle of Bourton on the Water and so pretty.|From the meet and greet the staff (Cotswold Motor Museum look after the cottage) were so friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

We had a fantastic stay with Adrienne and Garth, their service was exceptional, very much enjoyed the breakfasts, the rooms were really lovely and just like being at home. A beautiful view as well! This was our second stay with Adrienne and Garth in their beautiful, peaceful, gorgeously decorated BnB, and we'll definitely visit again! The tranquil riverside setting is perfect for getting away from busy life, and the accommodation has everything you could ask for - excellent breakfast in the lovely dining room (if you're lucky, you'll have great company from the other guests, as we did!), and a comfortable private ensuite bedroom with lovely outlook onto apple trees and beautiful gardens. The bathroom is top-notch, clean and modern with a powerful hot shower, and all around there are pretty touches in the décor. And the hosts are delightful, warm and welcoming, with great with advice for visiting Thames. Thank you for a perfect weekend getaway!

What a wonderful experience. A beautiful and cozy place to stay with amazing views. Extremely tidy room and well presented. Comfortable bed and has everything you need. Garth welcomed us without prior booking and was very accommodating throughout our entire stay. Garth and Adrienne are amazing hosts and it was a pleasure to stay with them. Looking forward to our next stay and we are already making plans. Highly recommended.
