The 85 Best Airbnbs and Vacation Rentals in the World, According to Super-Travelers

"Jordan Bunker traveled with his friends pre-lockdown at this cluster of bucolic farmhouses in the Cotswolds. The main six-bedroom, six-bath property blended contemporary furnishings with classic farmhouse features. The rooms were decorated with Danish-inspired furnishings from Hay and toiletries from Aesop. The smaller Winterspring cottage had a fireplace suspended from the ceiling, plus a cozy barn unit with a game room." - Ashlea Halpern

Very Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional and Rude Staff I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to after our experience at Cotswold Farm Park. From start to finish, the level of customer service was shockingly poor. The staff were not only unhelpful, but downright rude on multiple occasion and so many lies told! We approached a few different staff members for assistance with what should have been simple questions, and were met with dismissive attitudes, and an overall sense that they simply couldn’t care less. There was absolutely no effort made to be understanding of our situation and why we could no longer visit. What’s most disappointing is that this is a place marketed as a family-friendly attraction – somewhere meant to educate and inspire children. Instead, we were made to feel unheard. It was clear that several staff members had no interest. This experience completely shocked us and being told our number is being blocked and no correspondence from email even though we are still owed £238 of our money we tried to meet in the middle and ask for a partial refund or alternative booking when was more suitable for our situation but there was no compromise accept in the winter but even that was a lie because they close for certain months too so they made it completely impossible for us. They even told us that they wouldn’t tell there customers if there animals were to catch TB like local farms very close so who knows if this is a safe place to visit and take your family. Which was my very own concern. I would strongly recommend management take a hard look at their customer service standards, because this was unacceptable. There social media is full of false advertisement but yet they can’t even reply to help already paid customers. We will not be returning and will keep fighting for our refund!!!

We stayed on the campsite overnight and the cost then allowed us access to the park for 2 days. Lots to do for the kids, bottle feeding the goats and sheep. Holding a chick. Feeding the sheep and goats. Plenty of places to play and indoor spaces to hide from the rain. The campsite is clean and well kept with some lovely walks. The staff were fantastic, they were very welcoming and friendly and very kind to our grandchildren

A beautiful sunflower field for only £2 per person! It’s such great value for a lovely day out. The flowers are bright and endless under the blue sky. There’s also a Flower Festival with fun walking trails. Perfect for family visits and taking amazing photos!

Came here today for a visit with my family for the first time. Great place to go to, a lot of interactions with the animals what is great. The tractor ride was a lot of fun and so was holding a chick. However the only downfall was there is a lot of goats compared to other animals. They also have a flower field and sunflower field what is free with your entrance ticket. They have a maize and also go karts in the field with load of photo opportunities. The tractor ride was £1, this was available to pay by cash or card. The feed is £2.00 when buying it straight from the entrance, when buying the feed online with the tickets it costs £1.50. However they have a vending machine for the feed what is £3.50 which is near the cows. The gift shop was clean and the lady behind the counter was friendly.

Cotswold Farm Park Lived up to expectations very well thought out with lots of play and interactive opportunities as well as a host of very well cared for animals for children of all ages. Eating out is always costly and this was no exception expect to pay upwards of £70 for lunch and a drink for a family of four. However ample picnic areas for taking your own food

Farm is great fun. Kids loved it. Food was absolutely dire and overpriced. Kids meal cost 10 quid for a few chips and a single goujon. Felt like a joke. One burger was refunded as wasn't cooked. Other burgers were low-quality meat and chicken was tough as boots. I had to queue up mid meal to buy some ketchup. Bad attitude from staff. 100% enjoy the farm. But stay away from the restaurant if you can help it.

I have been to the Farm Park many times, firstly as a child myself and now as a parent, it is SUCH a shame to see it get more and more unaffordable. I went for the first time in over a year with my 2 year old. It cost £28 for us to get in plus then £2 for animal food. We headed to the motorised ride on tractors (used to be a real favourite) and now you have to pay for these too?? £1 for 5 minutes. It’s not fun to try and explain to a 2 year old why her tractor suddenly no longer works. The soft play section is awful, so tired and sad. We fed a sheep a bottle, which took 5 minutes, then walked round the rest of the park with the food - this took about 20 minutes. Quickly she tired of it mostly being goats! We then went to queue for the tractor ride (also would have cost us money) but were told it was full and we would have to wait an hour for the next one (again not enjoyable to explain to a toddler!!). We went for food but the options were so expensive (why do I have to spend at least £13 when all I wanted was a sandwich?). Luckily she enjoyed the bouncy pillows and the swings because aside from that we would have been finished very quickly. I know they are different parks with different intentions but the Cotswold Wildlife Park would have cost me £19 (under 3s are free), I can get a sandwich there for £3.50, the play areas are fantastic and well kept and I know if we miss the ride on train then it will only be 10 minutes until the next one! It’s just really hard to not compare the two and see how much the Farm Park is becoming not worth the money to visit.

Wonderful place to visit at any age. Lots of fun for youngsters to be had on the big bouncy things outside, on the playground equipment, in the sandpit, on the little tractors, holding chicks, stroking bunnies...Plenty of outdoor benches and indoor spaces to eat and drink - bring your own food and drink or buy there. A few uneven walking surfaces as expected, but all areas very well kept and laid out. Toilets clean and easily accessed from anywhere on the park. Bags of animal feed are £2 each from the ticket office - well worth it. And the stars of the show...the animals! Well presented information all around the park. £1 for a tractor ride (on a trailer) with recorded commentary by Adam - personal and informative. Great gift shop. Friendly staff. Lots of parking. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to this attraction and it didn't disappoint. Plan to spend a few hours here and if possible, arrive hungry because they have a great restaurant and coffee cafe on site. Not to mention a fun gift shop that features brilliant children's toys, clothing and local artisan food treats like cheese, baked goods and snacks. There were so many things I loved about this stop. From interacting with the goats, sheep, cows, baby piglets (four days old!) to learning about the heritage breeds and surrounding countryside, this farm is full of educational opportunities and spots for kiddos to stretch their legs throughout. I especially appreciated the indoor sandbox , soft climbing space and interactive chick display. Several of the animals could also be found inside for up close experiences like rabbits, goats, and calves. The inner farm girl in me was soaking in every minute of the experience. Expect to pay around 15 pounds per adult for your visit. Note that they also have rustic (teepee/camping) accommodations available on site.

Yelp
We stayed in the Cotswolds for 4 days, and we needed stuff to entertain our 4 year old. We saw a brochure for this place in our hotel, and it looked promising. The only problem was that we had not rented a car, and public tranportation didn't run out that way, so we had to take a taxi. No big deal. The man was very nice and promised to come back and pick us up at 5pm, when the park closed. This place is owned by a local TV celebrity (although of course we didn't know who he was). The park is all about conservation of rare breeds of animals and farming. For Americans, this place is kind of like a big pumpkin patch (that you visit in the fall), but without the pumpkins. There are little rides for the children, lots of animals, and even a corn maze. There's also a gift shop.

Yelp
I took my fiance to the Cotswolds Farm Park as he is a fan of Adam Henson's slot on Countryfile. The farm is very interactive, you can buy feed for the animals, hold baby chicks and ducks and meet the piglets. We don't have any children, but I imagine that the children that were there would have loved it. There is a rare breeds walk, a conservation area and a demonstration barn where you can watch cows being milked, sheep being sheared etc depending on the time of year. There is also a reasonably priced cafe and a shop.

Yelp
A must place to visit with or without kids. We go every year sometimes more as they run various events throughout the year (lambing season is the best). A great variety of animals plus other things to do like tractor rides, ride your own tractor, jump on the massive inflatable pillow which is surrounded by a huge sandpit, plenty of areas for a picnic, lovely cafe and all this surrounded by beautiful views of the Cotswolds - what more could you ask for.

Yelp
Established in 1971, Britain's first ever farm park can be described as a pageant of history on four legs. On display is an unrivalled collection of rare breeds of British farm animals including sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, horses, poultry and waterfowl. One of our Witney team's best family days out in the area.

Yelp
I took my sister's two little ones to this attraction and we had a great day. The kids loved it and I was really impressed with the facilites the cafe, the car parking, you name it and they've got it right. Lots of shelter on a bad weather day (and it was chilly when we went). The animals were lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. Five well deserved stars from me!
