Cottesloe Apartments

Our apartment, #5, was on the second floor with a small view of the water. The apartment was clean, and most every type of cooking utensil was available. We enjoyed making our breakfasts in this quiet place while dining on the balcony in the fresh air. The showers had an abundance of hot water, and a private laundry area is provided outside. The bed is comfortable, the apartment clean. The second best part about this stay is how close the ocean is. The water is clean and beautiful to see and swim in. The third wonderful advantage is how close the train is. A simple 2 minute walk connects you to the Fremantle line. I was unimpressed with Cottesloe itself, a bit loud and for a younger, louder crowd (we are 50), but our best fun was a walk south on the beach about a mile and a half (almost to the jedi) takes you to a casual, barefoot restaurant called Salt On The Beach. Great wine, excellent beer, good service. This has been one of the most perfect stays I've ever been to.

From the apartment, a quiet part of Cottesloe beach is only 100m away whilst 200m the other way is a train station which has frequent trains running into the city or to Fremantle. A 15 minute walk takes you into the main part of Cottesloe with bars and restaurants. The accommodation was comfortable and excellent for groups as we had booked 3 apartments. Don't forget to check out on time as they seem to have a high turnover! Be mindful if you are staying in the height of summer, fans only are provided in the bedrooms.

Arrived after a 20 hour trip from London and had no real complaints. One bedroom apartment was comfortable with good amenities. We really enjoyed the deck and central location. Negatives were that the bed was on the small side and some of the cutlery was a little dirty but otherwise we had a comfortable stay.

We weren't expecting much here, and ended up quite pleasantly surprised. The apartment was small, but it had everything that we needed. ||||Sure, you wouldn't truly call this an executive apartment, but if you made believe that you were a very lucky university student--you'd feel like you're winning. ||||The main draw of the apartment was it's proximity to the beach, and just a short drive to Freemantle. You'll want to have a car if staying here, as everything felt a bit too far to walk, and there isn't much in Cottesloe itself.||||It was relatively quiet during our stay here. Although, our neighbours' noise from their balconies was quite audible. We still chuckle at the British neighbour above us' emphatic rendition of 99 Red Balloons to his child... by the fourth 1980's song, his wife told him to 'shut up and eat your dinner'. ||||Oh yes, the sunsets at the beach were pretty special. We had a good stay.

We used apartment 9 which has a view of the sea. It wasn't a full view but the pictures on their website are totally accurate and honest on this point so I was not surprised or disappointed in any way. The apartment was well kitted out with cooking equipment and all the other basics - even down to beach towels and guest soaps.||The main bedroom had a very large and comfortable bed, and the second room, with two singles easily accommodated our two kids. It is very handy to the Perth-Fremantle rail service (every 15 minutes each way), a pleasant stroll to Cottesloe Beach and a reasonable walk to a couple of take-aways, a Vietnamese restaurant and a small supermarket. We'd certainly use it again if we ever go back to Perth (I wish)

Very functional, home from home place to stay near the great beaches of Cottesloe and Fremantle. Very clean and a great location. Only comment because it is an old 1960s style apartment block the walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbours. But nothing dramatic and everyone is very friendly. Will come back and stay again.

We had to move out of our house for a week and wanted somewhere close to the beach for a change. Have stayed at a few different self contained units so brought along a few things from home. To my surprise I didn't have to. Al foil, glad wrap, salt & pepper, a potato peeler that actually works, containers to store extras in and so much more. Well thought out. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed in unit 9 not full ocean views but very nice. We walked down to watch the sunset every night just beautiful.

Loved the Mediterranean style and interior design of the apartments. The higher floors have amazing views onto the sea, especially during sunset. All apartments are completely equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Good value for money.
