There are some things that I would like to be better! -The noise of the cars that passed to the road near, let me without sleep all the nights that I stayed there! The windows were not “soundproof” and the road was so near! Another thing that must really repair is: the beds! They were so small, uncomfortable and the blankets were small too. It was cold in the night, I couldn’t even sleep! The pillows were so uncomfortable too! Terrible pillows! The walls, I think that were so thin: you could hear all the conversations of the others! The room was so spacious, beautiful, with great view and so clean! The location is good! The breakfast was received to be “fabulous “, but there was under the normal or normal. The building was so beautiful! I would not like to come back again there!

The bedside lamp was broken, hard uncomfortable bed, the toilet seat had come off and was not repaired during our 3 nights stay! No mirror in the bathroom! The place had just been taken over by new owners; nevertheless to expect guests to stay in such badly looked after accommodation is incredible. No refund either.

This is an unfortunate review. Stayed here before a few years ago it was outstanding. There seems a change of ownership, the new owners have a lot to do to get this right. On arrival we were unable to gain access rang the emergency number spoke with someone and gave us a door code, which didn't work, rang back 7 times and no answer from the emergency number. We eventually did gain access. The property in communal areas is poor quality plastic chairs in the dinning room. Not at all welcoming. No heating in the bedrooms even though it was - 2 outside, we were told the heating only comes on at 4pm and goes off at 9pm obviously the rooms get extremely cold. When the heating comes on in room 2 only one of the 2 radiators were working. We paid £600 for 2 double bedrooms it was not worth this. Far from adequate. I suggest this should be around £60 to 70 a night. On the positive the breakfast was excellent and the house keeping was exceptional.

Good location, clean but small double bed. No tea/cakes on arrival-despite the promise. Kind of surly reception on arrival. There was tea making facility in the room, but that carton milk destroys the taste. One day there were biscuits for the tea, the next day nothing. It is very clean. Our toilet flushed continuously (room 3) we had to remove cistern lid and fix every flush.|It promises tea and cake on arrival BS.

We booked one of the cottages at Cotteswold House for its location and short distance from Cripps Barn where we were attending a family wedding. What a gem!! Downstairs is a spacious living/dining room/ and kitchen which had absolutely everything you could need - there were even throws on the backs of the sofa in case you get chilly. Upstairs, the bedrooms are cosy and light, the beds comfy and plenty of storage. The village of Bibury is delightful, with coffee shops, a pub, and hotel for food. Our weekend was over too quickly - we will be back!!

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the beginning of June and this B&B is excellent. The room was well equipped, clean and within a 10 minute walk of Arlington Row, Bibury. The breakfast was excellent and staff so welcoming and friendly. We felt very at home here and highly recommend a stay.

On arrival looked nice, but rooms not very clean, bedframe very loose. Toilet seat not fitted, dangerous. Net curtains in bedroom moldy. Not heat said in book to ring but being late did not bother, heat should be included not have to ask. Smelt of drains in bathroom. Could be nice but cleanliness let it down.

Lovely spacious rooms at the top of the house. Welcoming extra touches with chocolate biscuits and gorgeous shower gel. Quiet road so a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast cooked to order.||Excellent communication via text and email before the stay. Tempting offers to re-book, and they've worked!
