Lovely place to stay at Cotteswold House. Ricardo is very welcoming & a great breakfast chef. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options. I was impressed with the level of tidiness and awesome detail in decor, making guests welcome. Chocolates on the towels on the bed. Real milk for tea & coffee, nice bathroom products. One of the best we've stayed in. I would recommend staying here at Cotteswold House Jane & Steve

Lovely room with firm bed, very comfortable pillows and crisp linen. Fabulous location with a nice meander down to cafe and Arlington row. Fantastic breakfast option. Rather noisy Boiler though which kicked in some time in the wee hours

We were booked into another lodging in Bibury when our agent was advised that recent flooding had ruled out our room for a stay. They arranged for us to stay at Cotteswold House. What a stroke of luck. The most accommodating host we encountered over a 3.5 week cycle adventure in UK. Couldn’t have found a nicer man & assisted by his lovely daughter. Very new upspeck studio with a lovely landscape view, & close to the famous Arlington village.

We stayed in the family room on the top floor, the headroom was OK in the 2 single bed room and the double bed in the main room was comfortable. The bathroom was off of the main bedroom. It was hot in late June and the lack of AC did make it a little uncomfortable but appreciate that older buildings would look awful from the outside if they had great big AC units attached. As the road was not busy overnight it wasn't a problem having the window open. |The breakfast options are good and have to be selected on the evening before, and the food was of good quality.|Parking at the back was OK but I don't think it was fully booked when we visited so I have no idea what it's like when full. Also as the village is quite small, all places in the village are very much within easy walking distance.|Finally the owner was very friendly and talkative.

We stayed two nights in this lovely B&B. We arrived after a long rainy bicycle ride and this was the perfect location to warm up and recover. The staff is welcoming and very kind. They met all our needs. We leave in gratitude for our great breakfasts and impeccable lodging.

This is an unfortunate review. Stayed here before a few years ago it was outstanding. There seems a change of ownership, the new owners have a lot to do to get this right. On arrival we were unable to gain access rang the emergency number spoke with someone and gave us a door code, which didn't work, rang back 7 times and no answer from the emergency number. We eventually did gain access. The property in communal areas is poor quality plastic chairs in the dinning room. Not at all welcoming. No heating in the bedrooms even though it was - 2 outside, we were told the heating only comes on at 4pm and goes off at 9pm obviously the rooms get extremely cold. When the heating comes on in room 2 only one of the 2 radiators were working. We paid £600 for 2 double bedrooms it was not worth this. Far from adequate. I suggest this should be around £60 to 70 a night. On the positive the breakfast was excellent and the house keeping was exceptional.

Amazing stay at Cotteswolds house. Cannot recommend enough! Beautiful rooms, lovely hosts and great location in Bibury. The breakfast was outstanding too. We stayed for the night and went to The Pig for dinner which is just a 5 minute drive away. Lovely walks in the surrounding areas. All in all, great place if you're looking for a Cotswolds escape!
