Cotton Bay Hotel

I recently stayed at this charming little hotel, and I must say, the staff made my experience truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay, their kindness and professionalism were outstanding. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it truly made my stay unforgettable. Thank you to the wonderful team for making me feel so at home!

Overall it was ok. Dinner need to improve with more seafood. Lack of fish in the dinner. Gym need to have more equipments and opening hour need to be revisited. Family room need to accommodate 5 people. The side bed given is very uncomfortable. The family room was sold for 5 person.

Rooms recently renovated and were good and comfortable, the newly constructed blocks are great. Restaurant Service, Bar service and housekeeping were great. Food quality can be improved and please put name tags for every dish, some are marked but a lot are not marked, no differentiation between veg and non veg, veg food in the same cheffing dish as nonveg, lacks variety for breakfast. The pain of our stay is that on the 2 last days of our stay when we decided to stay at the resort, all pool umbrella’s were closed and hotel staff refused to get them open. Despite several complaints, they left guests in the scorching sun claiming there was too much wind and that we are in a cyclonic weather… one lady even told me that if I have a hat. Below is the video of the wind. 😅 Not great ending to an otherwise perfect weekend.

This hotel exceeded all expectations! The service was impeccable. The staffs were friendly, polite, professional and always eager to help. The room was spacious, well designed while keeping the authenticity of the island and incredibly comfortable with sea facing view. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and stepping out onto the terrace to feel the cool breeze was simply magical. The restaurant offered delicious meals, with amazing chefs. The sea facing pool was a true highlight - swimming while gazing out at the endless horizon was really relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax by the water or enjoy a romantic getaway! Can't wait to return and savor more of this 'pied dans l'eau' paradise!

I took my family to spend a weekend in Rodrigues and chose Cottonbay to ensure their full comfort. I must say we were very impressed with the warm welcome of all hotel staff members we met. The amenities and infrastructure were also top class. We remain grateful to Cecile who did all arrangements to look for my father's lost mobile phone and get it back to him as quick as possible. ||Rodrigues being renowned for its seafood, it may not always be easy for vegetarians to find their way out. However, big shout out goes to Dorice and Chef Judex who went out of their comfort zone to serve us yummy veg foods. The paneer curry is going to remain in our memories for long!||The hotel emphasises a lot on putting forward local specalities, from the decorations, buffet menu and even the evening entertainment. One cannot miss enjoyng their refreshing lemonade made of local freshly plucked lemons.||All in all nice stay witb enjoyable experience.

Literally the best hotel in Rodrigues. Super friendly staff who make sure your stay is great. Excellent food served at the restaurant for breakfast (Continental style) and dinner (buffet - varies everyday). Honestly, a worthwhile stay. Will definitely come back as soon as I can!

The hotel was superb and the hospitality of the staff was excellent always with a smile. Joella from the bar making excellent cocktail. Also a big thanks for the reception team which make all our request possible. I got one of the best massage from the SPA. Will comeback surely.

Perfect resort located adjacent to vast Indian Ocean, breathtaking views. The silence of the place rejuvenates self. Must stay place if you are visiting Rodrigues!! Highly recommended.
