Cotton Gin Village

I had a wonderful stay at Cotton Gin Village! The room was incredibly cozy and comfortable, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Fredericksburg. Waking up to a high-quality, delicious breakfast each morning was such a treat—it really set the tone for the day. I also loved the thoughtful touches in the room, like the bottle of wine and the freshly baked cookies—such a warm, welcoming gesture that made the experience feel extra special. Overall, the combination of cozy accommodations, great breakfast, and thoughtful little extras makes Cotton Gin Village a top choice. I can’t wait to return!

My wife and I stayed at the Cotton Gin Village for a quick weekend getaway. The village itself is quaint and cute and our room (Upper Frio) was oozing with the Texas Hill Country Charm! The owners clearly take great care of the property, as the grounds were immaculate. There is also an on site cocktail lounge and restaurant. Plus, it’s only a 5 minute drive into downtown Fredericksburg. We will definitely be returning again soon!!

Cabernet Grill is a hidden gem that absolutely deserves every bit of praise it gets! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and cozy — ideal for a special night out.|The food? Incredible. Every dish was expertly prepared with bold Texas flavors and beautiful presentation. The Lobster topped Chicken Fried Ribeye melted in my mouth, and the Sweet Potato Mash was bursting with flavor.|You can tell they use high-quality, local ingredients.|But the real star? The drink list. One of the best selections of Texas wines l've ever seen - thoughtfully curated and paired. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely charming experience we had at Cotton Gin Village! The cabins were just beautiful, and looked far better than the pictures. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast was as phenomenal as it looks, and the staff obviously works so incredibly hard and are super friendly. The entire place is just dreamy!

The styling was classic rustic and in excellent taste. The room appointments were on point! The coffee machine was a disappointment. The entire complex was comfortable and homey! The breakfast basket was incredible, unique and yummy!!!! Not in keeping with the quality and style, was the coffee machine in the cabin. Nespresso may have been a better way to complete the perfect expression of quality.

Even though my husband and I are born and bred Texans, we had never visited Fredericksburg. The town was very charming & delightful and The Cotton Gin Village was such a hidden gem! We were there to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and everything the staff did to prep was done so beautifully and professionally in order for us to enjoy our romantic getaway! From the hospitality, to the cleanliness of our cottage, to the adorable and delicious welcome cookies and breakfast baskets, and the excellent housekeeping to keep everything tidy - a wonderful operation to give the customer, a stress-free experience! A big shout out to the Cabernet Grill restaurant on property! Great service, an ultra delicious meal, and a sweet touch giving us a “Happy Anniversary” card to take home! We hope to be back at the Cotton Gin Village asap - will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family! Thank you CGV Staff 💜!!!

My husband and I have been on many trips together, but staying at Cotton Gin Village definitely made our stay in Fredericksburg the best yet! When you really get down to what made it special, it was a combination of many small things. The ease of accessing our room, even though we got there late, The constant communication with staff answering our questions, The restaurant squeezing in overnight guests for dinner, even though they were booked solid, down to the overall atmosphere. The cottage and grounds are immaculately well-kept! And don’t let me forget to mention the breakfast basket delivered at 9 AM each day. I did not expect all of the deliciousness that was going to arrive in there! When my husband let them know that we didn’t need the breakfast for the morning of our last day because we needed to leave early, they brought us breakfast the night before! I feel like 5 stars isn’t enough for how amazing it was! Book now, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay at the Cotton Gin! We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and it was just the perfect place for us. Everything was so welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The breakfasts and smore box are all wonderful! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!
