What a gorgeous place! My two friends and I stayed in the converted Barn space during a recent trip to Bryce Canyon National Park. We enjoyed grilling for dinner, and the stovetop was perfect for cooking up side dishes. The loft space was cozy, and the decor throughout is rustic chic -- an ox yoke, hanging rugs, and lanterns. From our front porch, we could sip coffee and watch the sun rise over mountains and rolling fields. It was quiet and secluded with wonderful stargazing, but it was less than half an hour from Bryce Canyon.

We stayed at Cottonwood Meadow Lodge a number of years ago when we were visiting Bryce and several other parks in Southern Utah. Our accommodations at the Lodge were lovely -- extremely cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our relaxing strolls on the gorgeous grounds. We often reminisce about our visit to Southern Utah and our wonderful stay at Cottonwood Lodge. We look forward to going back again for another visit.

The location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the hosts exceeded our expectations! Our kids love animals and were overjoyed to spend time with the dog, cats, and horses on the property. The view across the valley to the eastern mountains surrounding Red Rock Canyon and beyond to Bryce was beautiful. The minimal light at night allowed us to marvel at the incredible number of stars in the sky. We will definitely try to stay here again when our travels bring us through this area!

We love to visit this beautiful place for relaxation and the views are amazing, and within 30 minutes drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. This is our third time staying at Cottonwood Meadows Lodge and we will return here for our next trip!

Couldn’t be happier with our stay here! My wife and I stayed in the Barn House while visiting Bryce Canyon. Fantastic location only 10 min to town (for great food, supplies, etc) and 30 min from the visitor center. But still far enough from everything to be wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Great space inside and out. Peaceful porch with gorgeous view of mountains to start my day and have my morning coffee. Comfortable and well appointed cottage with everything we needed. And GREAT hosts who greeted with a smile and a laugh… and of course Jesse the lab made sure to come over to get some love and make sure we were ok. So so happy we found the Lodge and definitely plan to return.

We loved our family stay at Cottonwood Meadow Lodge for Bryce Canyon visit (~25 min away), with our 8y/o & 3y/o daughters. Our girls could not get enough of the pets, especially lovable lab that was a constant (and patient) playmate. Owners are gracious hosts, very kind, and make it a warm environment on cold nights. Upstairs is for sleeping, with two kid beds and parents bed, downstairs has a couch that could sleep a (least favorite?) child. We appreciated using kitchen and eating out on the most beautiful deck table. Let our girls run massive space, welcome relief from hovering at Bryce Canyon where letting toddler run free is dangerous. This is perfect place for relaxing family time to get away from crowds.

This is a very sweet place, perfectly situated to explore the Bryce Canyon area. There are only a couple of units available to rent and the couple that owns the place lives right on the property. Everything was very clean and the vibe was pure cowboy without the kitch. We stayed in the bunkhouse and enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning, while being serenaded by sweet songbirds on the rustic, private grounds. The first morning, we were joined by two very curious and friendly young cats. The second morning, the owners’ dog was waiting for us, laying in front of the door. Completely adorable! The bed was very comfortable, including excellent pillows and a great blanket. The bathroom and kitchen were also very clean and had all the stuff you would want as a guest. All in all, we had a great couple of nights and felt very vindicated with our off-the-beaten path choice of lodging.

Yelp
This place is truly a gem. I went there with my wife, Tim Jr. & my parents. We stayed in the Farmhouse, which is an actual house with 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a very well appointed kitchen. The property includes the main house/office, a working chicken coup, a stocked pond for fishing, fields, and river access. We really enjoyed our stay. The couple that runs the place (I've forgotten their name already) is very nice; she even made us chocolate chip cookies. They also have various animal friends - two kittens, Mighty the horse (plus two others whose names I never learned) and Jessie the dog, who instantly took to my five year old, following him around for all of the two days. The setting is wonderful in itself, and not far from Bryce Canyon. It's hard to say much bad about this place, it's a little close to the road (but it doesnt really diminish the setting) and I couldnt figure out what the $100 cleaning fee was for All in all a great place, noone in our party wanted to leave

Yelp
We have stayed here many times. Peaceful setting off the main road with horses, dogs, and other animals. Fresh cookies every day! Nice accommodations, but no bath tubs. There are books, dishes, and toiletries in every cabin. High cleaning fee so stay more than one night.

Yelp
This place is wonderful. We stayed in the Farmhouse with two other couples. Jerry and Jan, resident caretakers, with their sweet puppy, Jesse were there to greet and answer any questions. Such a delightful couple and there to help with whatever we may need. The property is peaceful and beautiful. The farmhouse was cozy and clean. This place is close enough to use as a base to see Bryce and Zion during the day and relax in peaceful coziness at night! I highly recommend this property!!

Yelp
My family and I stayed here for 3 nights in July and we wish it could have been longer! This place is gorgeous! It comes with AMAZING views, lots of land (complete with a pond, stream, and horses), it is just a short drive from Bryce Canyon and other outdoor activities, and the accommodations were rustic but very nice. We stayed in the Farmhouse (3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen) and it was so cozy, we sat around the fire pit every night enjoying the beautiful surroundings! I can't recommend this place enough!

Yelp
This cozy accommodation was a welcome place to return to after a day of hiking or horseback riding through Bryce Canyon. Although about a 20- to 25-minute drive from most of the park's trailheads, the lodge was worth the drive. Consisting of a small number of individual cabins in a bucolic setting, we felt as though we were staying on a friend's farm. When we arrived in the evening at our log cabin, Keke, one of the resident cats, was on our deck to greet us. Just beyond our deck was a pasture with two horses. The owners were out of town, but the caretaker, Scott, made sure we felt right at home and gave us a delicious loaf of homemade sweet bread and a small bowl of eggs fresh from the lodge's henhouse. With our own kitchenette, we could fix ourselves breakfast if we wanted. The next morning, one of the other adult cats and the two kittens arrived at our log cabin and showered us with affection. After a day of strenuous hiking, it was a pleasure to return to the lodge and cuddle with a kitty on our deck or sit next to the fireplace and read a book. If we return to Bryce Canyon someday, we hope to once again enjoy the hospitality of Cottonwood Meadow Lodge.

Yelp
Absolute heaven for kids! Between the horses, cats, nearby cows, pond, horseshoe pits, fire pit and the friendliest dog ever, the kids never wanted to leave. Accommodations were lovely. We were in The Barn, which slept 4 upstairs and had a nicely stocked kitchen and a bbq outside. After a week of eating out, it was wonderful to stay in and cook. Water pressure in the shower is lacking, but enough to get the hiking grime off.
