Coucou Bar Hotel & Restaurant Bantayan Island

I am staying at Coucou with my family for 3 nights and the service and food has been excellent. Totally recommended place to stay, eat and relax. Will be coming back for my next vacation. The restaurant is definitely the best in the island.

This review is for the restaurant only: Disappointing Experience Overall The service was slow and rude. While the pizza was good, the buffalo wings were not—they only serve three pieces, which felt like a joke. The place itself had a nice ambience, but that’s where the positives end. I was served a drink that tasted good initially, but when I placed it on the table after one sip, the uneven woven straw surface caused it to tip over. I asked for a replacement, but they charged me for it, even though their table design was partly to blame. This felt unfair and added to my frustration. The food overall wasn’t impressive, and the service was terrible. I noticed other customers visibly frustrated as well. I came here based on a recommendation but left disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend, unless you’re craving tuna on your pizza.

I can‘t understand the disapointing reviews. Compared to other ones like Amihan, Kota, Marlin this is the best for or reasonable price. Clean and not stinky. The Restaurant has good food for reasonable prices. Try Crispy Pata or Pochero outstanding! Service slow yes! But don‘t forget i‘ts Philippines

Great big Breakfast, and Coffee but a terrible and unfriendly service. The 3 elderly women behind the counter, tax every woman entering the restaurant, eyeballing them with a hateful downgrading demeanor. no thank you! Some people simply do not belong in the Restaurant - Business!

We came here to eat tho! The foods are very delicious!! We really loved them all!!! ❤️ Big servings + very affordable. Ambiance is so nice in evening. This is the best BTY resto for me!

I think the Google Maps Presentation Picture is from long time ago (or a very very good Photograph). In the front of the hotel is now (already long time) a Bar/restaurant, so the Garden from the picture is reduced to 10 Mtr more or less depp. But anyway: Good Place! Some of the most cleanest Toilets we see in the Philippines, and also the rooms are nice and clean. You should keep in mind there is a Bar in front if you use this hotel. The Bar/restaurant is OK. Some Meals and Drinks are not available... that's normal in the Philippines. This Restaurant is occupied by a lot of foreigners, but i think no one is looking for contact, so no good place if you want to keep in touch. Anyway: Food is good, serving time is... "If you not receive your food in 20 Minutes... wait another 20 Minutes". You will not be disappointed if you visit here. Maybe they don't have money or time or power to print new Menu's?... A lot of tape used for new prices and removals :-)

Rooms very clean, comfortable beds. Located close to everything but back away from the street for a quiet night sleep. Restaurant and bar also on site.

The service sucks! Women have an attitude in this place. Not only is the service bad, but it's also filthy; they never properly wash the plates and silverware. When I ordered buko/coconut juice, it wasn't organic. It tasted like plain water. Damn this place for being filthy, that's what bothers me the most.
