Countdown Fitness

I started at Countdown Fitness in Greenwich about 6 months ago And l love training with Ella! She’s so sweet but knows exactly how to push me to get stronger every week. The workouts are always challenging and never boring. I feel stronger and more confident thanks to her—highly recommend Ella and Countdown!

Countdown Fitness has changed my life! It’s a 30 minute weekly personal training workout and the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ve lost weight, gotten so much stronger, become a better tennis player and most importantly haven’t had one injury since I started a year ago. Anel is so much fun but pushes me hard and is a true expert in all things fitness. Run don’t walk to countdown - but know you’ll be wobbling out the door after :)

Fantastic workout every week! Sarah tailors the workouts to keep your body challenged week after week. She pushes you and encourages you through all of it. I’m healthier and more toned than I’ve ever been. Absolutely recommend Countdown and Sarah.

If anyone out there is looking for an amazing place to workout, Countdown Fitness is it!!! Anel, Paige and Sarah are such amazing trainers!! The workouts are a challenge but very effective and only 30 minutes per week. Paige is so great to work with and encourages me to push myself. I’m so happy my strength is starting to improve even more. Love Countdown Fitness!!

I have been going to Countdown for two years. Anel is an innovative trainer who has a remarkable program that works you out to failure over a 30 minute period once a week. He also understands the specific needs and weakness of each client in terms of their injuries and occupation. He is also very amusing and completely genuine. Can't recommend him highly enough. 6 stars.

I had been seeing information on Countdown Fitness on social media for a while and I finally decided to give it a try in January. I met with Carolyn, and we went over my goals, the biggest being fixing my posture and relief from lower back pain. With Carolyn, I've accomplished that and so much more! I feel stronger, happier and healthier. She keeps me motivated and provides a challenging workout and best of all she does it all in 30 minutes! I highly recommend Carolyn!

I have been a avid runner most of my life and a athlete. I thought I was in decent shape until I started training at Countdown Fitness. The program that Anel has me on has helped me to drop 5 min off my 1/2 marathon time, I’ve added more muscle & feel healthier than I have in years. My posture is better and I have less injuries. I recommend Countdown Fitness to everyone and to all fitness levels. They tailor make programs to work for each persons needs.

I am feeling amazing after a few months of Countdown Fitness. I never enjoyed exercise before and truly see such an amazing improvement in my strength and my body. Sarah is so wonderful to work with! I started training with Madison two months after my third baby was born. After having 3 pregnancies in 5 years, my body was NOT feeling right. I had lost a ton of muscle, added a bunch of fat, and my posture had suffered. Initially I planned to train with Madison for 6 weeks to get myself back on track, but it's now 5 months later and I still see her weekly. I can not believe the impact that slow motion strength training has had on my body. I have gotten so much of my strength back and even developed muscles that have been neglected all of my life, which has enabled me to add some cardio and vinyasa yoga. My posture has gotten significantly better despite the fact that I'm still nursing and work at a computer most of the time, thanks to the series of exercises that Madison designs for me. I've lost almost 20 pounds, and definitely converted a bunch of fat to muscle. My butt and thighs are so much tighter than they used to be (sorry if that's TMI!) All in all, it's an incredible workout in that the results are very noticeable and the time commitment is tiny. That said, you DO have to be dedicated. Madison will ask you to push yourself really, really hard. Sometimes in the middle of workouts, all I can think is "Why am I doing this???" But then I remind myself that I just need to give it my all for 30 minutes, which really isn't that much. By the time I finish the workout, I'm absolutely exuberant as I walk out of the gym feeling strong and like I'm standing taller and more confidently. Usually I'm really sore for a day or two and then I start getting really excited for my next session....it's addictive to feel as good as it makes you feel :)

Anel has been my trainer for over four years in New York City. I have nothing but good things to say about him. He is a consummate professional, knowledgeable, patient and yet knows how to inspire and make the workouts fun. He has always helped me to reach my goals, whether it be getting bigger, trimming down or working around injuries I sustained outside of the gym. Whatever your level of fitness, Anel will help you meet your goals and intelligently push past your own inner limitations.
