"Country Bear Jamboree is great if you need a break to sit in the air-conditioned theater, but there are better shows in the Magic Kingdom — although this one does offer a lovable dose of Frontierland nostalgia." - Travel + Leisure Editors

I never saw the original attraction as a kid, so I only knew it by reputation: buggy, corny, and not very Disney-related. They've updated it over the years though, and when we went to see it I was actually blown away! The animatronics are so detailed and smooth, the music is very entertaining, and each song is a country/western cover of a beloved Disney song! It made me sing along, it made me tap my feet, and it made me laugh out loud! Highly recommended attraction!

I remember seeing the original attraction in Anaheim. It was less than impressive. However, this attraction shows how wonderful animatronic entertainment can be! The chance to sit and watch a fun show in air conditioning while at Walt Disney World is going to get a positive review, regardless. This show is actually fun!

Google
Just saw the new show! I was skeptical going in, but the new songs are really fun! They're country twists on your most favorite Disney pieces like "Fixer Upper" "A Whole New World" and many more. It makes it easier for the kids and the whole family to clap and sing along. It actually was a fun little show, and I'll absolutely be back! There's typically no wait time other than just waiting for the show to start ever 15 minutes or so.

The new updates are great! This is a fun way to escape the heat and sit for awhile at Magic Kingdom.

I was a bit worried to see the new show but... I LOVE IT! I never though that I would say this but I prefer this version to the older one. The show is refreshing and so much more dynamic. I'm always in a good mood when I see this show because the songs are so joyful and makes me want to dance. I love how they transformed famous Disney songs into country cover. My favorite is "Try Everything" which brings me tears for some reason. Good job on this renovation!

Saw the new show the day it opened. We all loved it. We'd been fans of the old version, maybe me more than my wife and kids. But they all love the new one more. Certainly seems a lot shorter, though, which is not so good. Double the time on the songs, it felt too rushed. Animatronics have all been cleaned up, fur brushed, some new clothes. They looked amazing. Songs were fun, all Disney themed now. One complaint, they really should have had Big Al keep trying to sing Blood on the Saddle, then getting cut off with new songs. He was one of the best parts of the old show and he's wasted in the new one. Crowd was right into it, clapping along to all the songs. This is a revamp that seemed to be a hit.

This new version is done in good taste. The animatronics are fresh. The humor that made this show famous is still there. Plus, thinking of the kids, they would laugh and sing along to some of the Disney hits. The show lasts around 15 minutes, and it is a nice relaxing break from the Florida heat and rain. Enjoy.

Google
Came to see how the update was. Very modern Disney with songs from Zootopia, Little Mermaid, Marry Poppins and Aladin. It was the most engaged I've seen an audience there in years. Very high energy lots of fun with people singing along. #music #merrypoppins #bears #show

Yelp
I've been to Magic Kingdom Disney World several times, however, on my latest trip during Memorial Day week, I finally had a chance to sit down and watch Country Bear Jamboree. Country Bear Jamboree is a classic attraction located in Frontierland within Magic Kingdom Disney World. It is one of the original attractions to the theme park. It's a theatre style venue with animatronics. It's a great place to take a break from the theme park rides as you sit and watch the show! The show is a musical that features animatronic bears that sing a variety of classic country songs and original compositions. It's a little outdated, but I totally enjoyed it! My daughter did too! It's a lot of fun and I'd highly recommend at least seeing it once if you're visiting Magic Kingdom for the first time!

Yelp
I was so close to giving it only one star, but it does have some "pros" worth mentioning. * The animatronics are pretty well done. Lip movements aren't great, but the energy when they play and sing is nearly palpable. * Air conditioning and seated show! Both of these are necessities if it's Florida-hot that day or if you need a rest for your feet. It's quite comfortable for the show, brief as it may be. * Energetic for the kids! Now that the songs are recognizable, kids will probably be more attached to the music than before (when the songs were original to the attraction only). Now, though, the "cons"... * They changed the show pretty poorly. Instead of the original music (mentioned above), it's nothing more than a Disney Sign-a-Long now. All the music is from Disney media. The original Country Bear Jamboree is lost to time. This is very sad. The biggest appeal with the very strange nature of their music! * It's nothing new to the original, so why the need to update it? They took out a character or two (feels like more), and nothing was actually added. It's still the same show, but without any of the previous charm of the original attraction. * It really only seems to appeal to kids now. There isn't any hint at humor, and the only real material is rehashed Disney property tunes. It's quite sad to see the updates. What once had a niche appeal to Frontierland now appeals only to kids who enjoy a good sing-a-long. The only real reason to go anymore would be time off one's feet and a break from the weather. Otherwise, I don't see us visiting it again.

Yelp
My wife loves Country Bear Jamboree, she has been going since she was a child. This is not my favorite show, but I do think it's cute. I would say this is more for kids especially with the new changes. This show was recently updated from the long running original show. I would say a lot of adults have sentimental memories, my wife included, with the original show. The new version has the same characters, but new songs, new costumes and an entirely new show. The new version the songs they sing are all country style Disney songs. this new version is also very lively and upbeat. Most people find themselves singing along to at least one song. They do have continuous shows throughout the day which is great. I like to visit this show during the summer when it is so hot outside. It is a nice 15 minute indoor, AC, relaxing time. I have never seen it get full except for the last time we visited. This is a new version so the chances of it being fuller are higher. There is a waiting area which has some different items to look at as well as a few benches. There are little touches that are really nice especially in the waiting area. Make sure to look at the ground, they have claw marks from the bears built into the ground. This is a cute show. It's usually one of the only attractions at the park that has a low wait. I would definitely recommend visiting the attraction. It is a great family show, fun, lively, and songs kids will even know. We will always try and make time to see this show. Check it out!

Yelp
Country Bear Musical Jamboree, a classic Disney show at Magic Kingdom. I have been watching this show with the singing bears since I was a child. The bears all have names and all sing different songs. Watching it as a child I loved it. Watching it as an adult, is totally different experience. Some of the lyrics are so shocking. I can't believe we were singing these lyrics as kids, it's almost comical. This is most likely why they have recently updated this show. They completely changed the songs, the outfits and the flow of the show. It is completely new. This changed was recent, in 2024, so the new version has only been around for no more than 5 months. I hear it has mixed reviews. I think people such as myself, who have been signing these songs since a child, are used to the lyrics, it brings back so many memories. I think I even had a Disney cassette tape which had some of the songs on it. It is very nostalgic despite the lyrics not the best for kids. Such as "there was blood on the saddle". However, the new version is definitely cute. It is the same characters but now they sing country versions of Disney songs. I will say, the new version is more lively and more upbeat. And the last time we visited, it was the first time EVER, the show was completely full. There was not an empty seat in the theatre. There are continuous shows every 15-20 minutes about. They do have a lobby area which has some different items to look at and a couple of benches. My favorite touch in the waiting area is the bear claw scratches in the floor. If you don't look you might not notice them, and I think it is just such a great touch. I would say you never have to wait and will probably always get a seat, but who knows. After the last time, I can't even say that. We were there early, the first ones in the waiting area. Grabbed a bench and sat down. Then when the theatre opened, we let everyone go in. I felt there was no need to push and shove, however, once we finally got in, there were hardly any seats. We took one of the last couple. It was crazy. If this is on your list to see, I would highly recommend now that you head towards the doors and wait. Don't do what we did. This is a great show in the summer as well. When it feels like the surface of the sun, head inside, it's always cool inside and even if you hate the show, you can sit in the back and enjoy the AC for 15 minutes. Maybe your toes will even start tapping. I definitely recommend heading into the Country Bear Jamboree, just for the nostalgic feel with an updated version.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to this attraction since it was removed from Disneyland in Anaheim. So on my most recent trip to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, I checked it out and was surprised to find that all of the music has been updated! A nice change, but if I had to choose, I would still prefer the original version!

Jon H.

Yelp
Original show: Loved it. Wish they hadn't changed it. New updated show (2024): Lost much of its original charm. Songs are mostly just Disney movie songs. Bring back "Blood on the Saddle"!

Courtenay O.

Yelp
We love these bears and their songs. We come here everyone we visit the Magic Kingdom. There is rarely a wait, it's cool inside, and we are entertained. We heard that this venue might be reworked or completely replaced in the near future. So we'll keep coming here to watch these animatronic figures belt out their songs until they are gone.

Yelp
Childhood memories unlocked! One of my most favorite memories as a kid was our trips to Disneyland with my parents and Country Bear Jamboree was always a must stop for us. Not only was it a great place to sit, cool of and rest your feet; it was a great show with singing and a bit of comedy. It's all the old school animatronics with bears of course , but even now it's such a fun little walk back in time for families of all ages. I was pleased to see this at Magic Kingdom since they removed it from Disneyland ages ago. Great spot to relax and cool off in this Florida heat.

Yelp
We have been stopping here for years when in Magic Kingdom. Yes it's corny and extremely outdated, but it's a classic show.

Yelp
The country bear Jamboree is one of the original attractions at the Magic Kingdom. Welcome to "grizzly hall" home of Henri, the MC, and all his grizzly bear loving friends. The show has been modified from its original form but still features all your favorite bear characters. Flash photography is not allowed while listening to the 12 minute concert. The show starts with the three mounted heads off to your right-Buff, Melvin, and Max cutting jokes to get the audience ready. The audio-animatronic show has at least 4 turning side curtains 2 on each side by the main stages. Here different characters will appear to sing their song or in Henri's case introduce them. The five bear rugs as they are called are on center stage along with the little bear "Oscar" who does nothing but squeeze his teddy bear. Other cute characters include the "sun bonnet trio", 3 swinging triplet bears, Trixie-a large brown bear with a blue bow on her head and wearing a blue tutu, and Teddi Berra who descends from a hole in the ceiling on a swing decorated with pink roses where she sings her solo piece. The biggest and funniest bear is Big Al, a heavy set bear playing an out of tune guitar to the song "blood on the saddle." Two of the original song set "pretty little devilish Mary" and "fractured folk song" have been removed from the show. If you come during the holiday season you will see a Christmas themed country bear show. I saw that once years ago and it is amazing what they can do by just revamping the characters and the songs. After the closing song "come again" you are ushed into Pecos Bill tale tales restaurant. A nostalgic note here-When you leave the theater in the past you used to see Buff, Melvin, and Max right at the entrance to the eatery picking up for a minute or two where they left off in the show. Alas they are gone, however, if you are on hand to see the daily parade that runs down Frontierland you may catch a bear or two in costume on the roof of Grizzly Hall. This attraction is classic Disney at it finest. The only wait you really have will be the one inside while you are waiting for the doors to open to the next show. Located in Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom.

Yelp
Shout out to my boy, the often imitated but never duplicated, Big Al. He is the highlight of the show for me and my wife. When we visit the park, we have to swing by to say hi to Al.

Katrina P.

Yelp
This show is located in Frontier Land at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. The show is entertaining for young and old. There are a few things said during the show that are adult humor but thankful it's in-noticed by children. The bears are bright and colourful and the dialogue is filled with witty banter. The bears sing and play instruments which definitely keeps little ones interested. This is a great spot to go that's rarely crowded if you find yourself near by when it rains.

Shelby Z.

Yelp
Although the Country Bear Jamboree is still technically considered a classic, no one really seems to care much about it anymore. To be honest, I'm surprised this attraction hasn't even closed down yet. I still find it fun though. It's just not something I would go out of my way for. The little show is in Frontierland and consists of animatronic bears putting on a show. It's obviously pretty dated, but they are still cute to watch and it's fun seeing all of the wacky bears doing different things all over the stage. This is also a show you can hop into with hardly any wait at all. It's worth it if there's some time you need to kill!
