We have always preferred to stay at Country Comfort Perth , few times now they have dropped the ball, our last stay really let us down , rang ahead early in the morning to give the plenty of notice that if possible can we please have a check in between 1pm , 2pm , they said turn up and check. We got there at 1pm , room was not ready , so we did most of the check in there and then so we thought. since our room was not ready , we would have lunch while we wait , Restaurant not open on weekends for lunch. so we decided to have a swim . after we proceeded to go see if our room was ready just after 2pm. there was a line up of 9 Guests , only 1 lady checking in , which you would think you would have 2 checking in around that time , we waited in line and we still had to go through the check in and sign paper work , finally got our swipe card with our room number on it , went to said room number , declined entry , wife went back to reception , more people , had to line up , as I was getting our luggage back on the trolley , another guest was entering our Room , he stated he had been allocated. Turns out was wrong number written on card , so by the time we got to our room it was 3pm . then to find air-conditioner not working properly, remote was wedged in vents to hold the flap up. the room was run down bed was hard . did not enjoy the stay at all. Was frustrating. went to purchase some water after hours , guy stated can not pay using eftpos , has to go on our room as it stuffs up the end of day process role of the next day , I did not want to put it on the room but was forced too, then we went to pay for it next morning on check out and was told it would take few days to process , so take it out of bond. its 2026 should not be that hard. I don't think we will be back again. its a shame.
