Wonderful Breakfast place. Exactly the kind of place you’d expect in a small beach town. I love coming here with family and friends. Eggs are great. Does a great country style ham too.

We ate here 3 times as we visited the area. Our first server wasn't too friendly, but was quick. The food was great everytime! The best server on our last visit was the best!

A friend and I went for breakfast around 1030 on Saturday, when we arrived there were 2 groups waiting to be sat. A group of 3-4 and one couple. We gave the hostess our name, she asked table preferences to which we said first available. We aren’t picky and work in the service industry so typically try to be as easy a customer as possible. Host writes our names down and tells us to take a seat it shouldn’t be too long. Both groups before us get sat. We noticed 3+ tables in the dining room empty , almost every sat table waiting for food, and several tables on the patio empty or waiting for food too. The host sat 2 more couples that arrived after us. A waitress then asked, again, what our table preferences are…first available. She then sat a table of 3 who also arrived after us! We waiting for a table we never got - ended up leaving and went to Riverwalk Cafe where we were immediately sat, ordered, great food came out timely. AND everyone at Riverwalk actually looked like they wanted your business.

Great spot for a classic Florida breakfast. Loved the old-school diner vibe with a lunch counter, booths, and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. I had the pork chop with eggs over easy, grits, and an English muffin—everything was cooked perfectly. As a bit of a grits snob, I can say theirs were spot on. Brought my own coffee (oops—won’t do that again), but the cranberry juice hit the spot. Looking forward to coming back, maybe even for lunch next time.

Love this place! The dining room runs like a well oiled machine, even during a Sunday morning brunch rush. The breakfast is delicious, they cook their bacon and eggs to perfection. And their Belgian waffles are fab. Their whipped cream has the sweetness of on that was freshly made.

A local gem. We live in Vero, but the drive to Sebastian for the breakfast here we find is worth it. Excellent food. Excellent service and at a reasonable price point. But don't limit yourself to breakfast. The sandwiches and salads are delicious as well. Don't let the full parking lot fool you into going somewhere else. The wait is not normally long. Especially since the snow birds have flown home.

First time eating here. Great place. They have the real thing here. Heinz ketchup, log cabin maple syrup great coffee and napkins. Service and food were excellent. We will be back.

Very quaint and welcoming place that feels like home. Family owned and you can see that they really care about their customers. Food was prepared exactly to order X4 and everything was delicious and plenty. The building was clean and maintained including the restrooms and common areas. Can't wait to be back soon!

Stopped in on a Saturday morning and immediately appreciated the Old Florida charm of this place. Country Ham N Egg has the kind of classic diner vibe I love--complete with a proper lunch counter, plenty of booths and tables, and even some outdoor seating. We were seated right away, and the service was spot on: quick, friendly, and never felt rushed. I usually judge a breakfast spot partly by their coffee, but I already had a fresh cup of homebrew in my Buc-ee's tumbler this time around and didn't want to waste it (Yes, I saw the "Absolutely no outside beverages" sign... and yes, I'll respect that on future visits. No one said a word, which I appreciated.) I did grab a giant glass of cranberry juice to go with my meal. I ordered the pork chop with two eggs over easy, grits, and an English muffin--and everything was cooked just right. The pork chop had perfect grill marks and was tender and flavorful. The eggs were exactly how I like them, and the grits... well, I can be a bit picky when it comes to grits, but these were spot on. Creamy, hot, and seasoned just right--hard to beat that. All in all, a great breakfast experience. Looking forward to coming back, and I'm curious to see what they've got on the lunch menu next time.

It's my third day in a row at the Country Ham N Egg so I thought I might share why I absolutely love this place. It has ample parking and space to accommodate the packs of hungry customers that come in. A warm welcome by the host never fails. The wait was about 2-5min to be seated. It is nice and clean. The staff is very attentive and always friendly. I usually get some of their delicious brewed coffee. And a #2 sausage links/scrambled eggs/hash browns & English muffin that I devour with grape jelly 10/10 Definitely a must try if you are in town or if you are roadtripping and need an awesome and delicious spot to munch. Can't wait to be back! Thank you for the consistency in excellence

Country Ham N Egg Restaurant is my kind of hometown restaurant you just don't find anymore. The food is good, and the staff is unbelievably friendly. Being that they were quite busy for a Saturday morning, we chose to be seated at the counter and enjoy breakfast along with conversing with Sharon who was serving us with a smile. The restaurant has an unassuming ambience along with that comfortable home dining appeal.

Stop in for breakfast, had my American flag hat on and the waitresses didn't seen to like it. I had eggshells in my omelet. I would never support a place that doesn't respect our flag and out troops. I give this place a 0 rating.

Continuing my pursuit of delicious breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurants to enjoy a meal at every now and then, my dad and I hit up another local mom-and-pop down in Sebastian called the Country Ham N Egg Restaurant (will shorthand to CHER for the remainder of the review). According to my dad, he said CHER was one of two very popular breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurants that would compete alongside The Southern Sisters before the latter moved up to Sarno Rd. in Eau Gallie. With the "competition gone," CHER became one of the primary breakfast/brunch/lunch diners in the area. We stopped in to enjoy a meal and I have to say, I was not disappointed. First and foremost, the ambiance of CHER is very homey, like southern homey. I definitely loved the outdoor decor as a sculpture of a rooster flanks one side of the awning leading to the entryway. The mural on the south wall is very cool to look at too. Inside, the place is simple yet clean. Your choice of sitting at a table or booth. Staff was very friendly including our waitress. Took our drink and food orders which arrived quite quickly. I ordered the Italian sausage and green pepper omelette with hash browns, dad got a Philly Cheesesteak with sweet potato fries. They forgot to smother my hash browns in cheddar cheese but they corrected that issue promptly. The food: very delicious and cooked right to order. I didn't even have to box any leftovers because I finished everything. Not to mention, the prices for the food were not bad at all. For two people, we paid less than $30 prior to tax and tip. On a sidenote: restrooms were fairly clean. Or at least the men's restroom was. If I am ever in Sebastian and want some breakfast, I will definitely drive out of the way for this place. A very good first impression, so much I would love to come back whenever I decide to geocache back down here again, possibly in Stormwater.

Great hashbrowns, nice servers, can't go wrong! Good food to have when you're hangover.

Food is good. Service is good at the table but my issue is the hostesses. Acknowledge your customers when you see them in line walking by them 3-4 times without acknowledgement is simply ignoring your guest. You are the first face, the first representative of the restaurant.

Country as F ya'll. Eggs, nothin fancy now. Grits. Biscuits and gravy, wha wha Country fried steak. The have what you come for, comfort country breakfast. Service is Cinco Estrellas.

Do you enjoy old style country diners? Then this place is for you! There's not a lot of decor that's fancy it's all local stuff giving you a local grown restaurant feel. The staff here all seems like they've been here a very long time and know the menu inside and out what time they've been looking at it. I noticed a lot of people walk in the door and the employees seem to know them by name which is pretty cool. The food is pretty average. It doesn't stand out and it's definitely not bad in any way. It's very much diner style food and diner styles sitting. I do believe my scrambled eggs were poured out of a jug and not made from an actual egg. This is not take away from the food because you'll find the same type of eggs that Denny's, McDonald's and many other well established restaurants. The service here has always been great even though they appear to be very busy my plates and my coworkers food always comes up and a very timely fashion that aligns with our short lunch. From work.

Ordered the #4 (hangover special), corned beef hash, eggs, toast and grits. CBH was nice and crispy as I like it. It was a week day and it was busy, parking lot was full. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised on how quickly we were seated by a friendly staff member. The food arrived quickly and it was very tasty. Reasonable prices too! We appreciated the attentiveness of our waitress and the fact that when ordering coffee, they provide you with an insulated carafe for easy refills. Will definitely visit again.

We tried to eat breakfast on their patio this morning when we were informed no dogs were allowed - we have 2 service dogs. Interestingly, there was a dog already on the patio and sitting on a chair with an elderly couple. When I pointed it out, the waitress stated it's a service dog..."as are mine" I told her to which she replied "I don't think so." I have my dogs' paperwork in the car and could have come back was turned off by her bad (and illegal) attitude. Needless to say, we will never be back!

The food is top notch. Good portions too. The service has always been good. Can get a bit busy later in the morning. As of now this is my go to spot for breakfast. Very cheery atmosphere.

Down home local eatery. Very good soup and one of the best burgers I ever ate. Reasonable prices. Not fancy. Would definitely return.

The place was packed... I assumed that meant it would be a great place to eat breakfast. I was wrong. The person that greeted us clearly was not happy to be at work. From the moment she told us there would be a wait till when she sat us until the time someone asked her to turn the AC down because it was blasting right on them... she always had a look of "I'm over this, I hate all these people and just want to go home." Our server wasn't much better. I did ask, because it was our first time there, if there was something special they were known for she would recommend. She pointed to the wall by the entrance and said "those are our specials today". Ended up ordering an omelette with cheddar cheese added. Nothing special at all about the omelette and instead of cheddar cheese is was boring American cheese. My wife got French toast and home fries. She said the French toast was very egg tasting and the home fries were just boring. No flavor really at all. Food was hot when it was delivered and the coffee was hot. If the food was great we likely would go back and just deal with the not so happy workers. If the workers were really nice we like would go back and try the food again. But... neither the food or the workers were good so we won't be back. Disappointing

Great breakfast. I had the half waffle, eggs and bacon. Coffee was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast.

Came in on Sunday morning with some friends, after a party, in desperate need of greasy delicious breakfast food to settle the stomach because we're not as young as we used to be. The place was booming with couples and families, that undeniable post-Church crowd. It was so homey, so quaint, so a part of the community here that we didn't mind having to wait outside in the 45 degree windy morning because all the inside was packed with other patrons eating and waiting (because this place is just that popular, even when overstaffed)!! What to say? The eggs were solid, cooked over easy, scrambled, and sunny side up. Corn Beef Hash tasted like childhood, as good as it's ever been, their breakfast burger was also on point with a little Worcestershire. Country-Fried steak was crispy and well-doused in gravy. Country Ham N Eggs has completely obliterated Heisenberg's Country Fried Steak Uncertainty Principle, where if you have good gravy and bread, the steak is weak; if you have good steak and gravy, it is poorly breaded; or, if you have good breading and steak, the gravy is lumpy and cold. They also say they give you three eggs in your omlete, but there's no way they totally don't sneak in an extra egg for you and load you up on bacon, ham, tomato, sausage, or whatever else you ask for! Coffee was decent, too. Ohh ohhh ohhhhhh!!!! Also always ask for them to give you a "grilled biscuit" instead of toast. I am so glad this can become our new family breakfast stop for a full American breakfast.

It's always good. Good good. Served fast. Good prices. It's clean and tidy. Excellent menu. It's a local favorite.

Our Server Darla was super friendly and welcoming food was fresh and fast . The atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing I will Definitely be coming back and I recommend it .

I find their breakfast doesn't have any flavor. I wonder if the grade of food is inferior and it sometimes comes out cold. I have a real problem knowing my food was plated for a while as people walk by it. The staff is friendly. Kind of feels like eating in a school cafeteria too. I like to eat at the counter, but not here. I'm surrounded by very large people that may or may not have showered in sometime.

It was very busy the servers looked slammed def needed more Helpers to hire . Food wasn't that great honestly wouldn't recommend and won't be coming back here.

Delicious egg white veggie omelet, grits, wheat toast accompanied by plenty of hot coffee. Solid!

Its your basic great breakfast place. Very busy on the weekend, we sat outside. Long wait inside. Nice selection of items, including things you dont always see, like a slab of country ham. Wow, got my salt for the week, but it was so worth it. Wife had a homemade biscuit w her omelet. Tasty! Coffee is weak diner coffee, as expected. Great place, friendly experienced servers. Worth a trip.

Ducked in with the family for some breakfast and it was a fine time, here's why: * Excellent weather allowed us to sit outside * Prompt and friendly service * Hearty portions at a fair price * Popular with the retiree set * Tasty, tasty! Good stuff, Cabeza OUT!

The staff is super attentive nice laid-back quick in and out type of place my three kids dad and I showed up for lunch in and out in no time 54 bucks before tip I have the liver and onions it was cooked perfectly the only downfall is I wish I had another piece of liver only comes in one my daughter had the chicken Parmesan beautiful chicken breast not that breaded chicken patty garbage just didn't have quite enough seasoning for me Overall not a bad place to swing in for a quick lunch reasonable prices and great staff have fun later

Love this restaurant! We enjoy brunch after church every week! The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious. If you are lucky enough to be there on a day they have Country Fried Steak....order it...you won't be disappointed! Con...since we began making this our go to after church for the last three months, the air conditioning has been out of order a minimum of three times. Worse than the discomfort of the patrons is the abuse of the staff. The staff works extremely hard to make Country Ham and Eggs in Sebastian and it is painful to see them sweat because the air conditioning system has been "patched" too many times. Fix the AC!!

Great old school atmosphere, there will probably be a line but it's worth the wait. Great breakfast classics, warm and friendly, though busy service.

I don't usually leave negative reviews. I just don't go back. However, after spending almost $30 for breakfast, I had to comment. First off, service was quick although our server had a bit of a surly attitude. Ok, not every day is the greatest. But then the food. Our omelets were plentiful but in this case quantity definitely did not equal quality. The hash browns were flavorless and severely lacked salt and seasoning of any kind. Most hash browns I have been served have had at least salt, pepper, and sometimes chopped onion. These were flat tasting, kind of like flat cardboard shreds. The omelet had no salt or pepper, none, and was so dry I had to add ketchup in order to eat it. Never in my life have I put ketchup on eggs, until now. Don't waste your money. The only things I enjoyed were the coffee and rye toast.

We had been going to the Country Ham and Egg for about two years, every weekend always had good service and wait staff was always wonderful. The new Hostess is AWFUL she is rude and should not be in the hospitality business. We have always waited for a full size booth unless they were extremely busy and we would sit at a two top booth, this particular Saturday they were not busy and maybe had 5 booths total all with two two in them, we asked for our "regular" booth and she said "there's a two top available". again if they were busy and on a wait we would have happily took the two top booth, all full size booths had two in them....not sure why she needed to throw her authority around, we sat at the full size booth. Sunday we walk in they are on a wait, she had her tablet, looks past me twice tries to take the name of a woman who was done eating and trying to get to the register to pay, looks past me again and asks a group that had just walked in. Guess our $80.00-85.00 a weekend is not needed.

Don't waste your time or money. No flavor to anything we had for breakfast. Home fries were soggy and not crispy. We Saw the sign that said wait to be seated only to be told sit over there while someone pointed their finger to a table. After being seated, we waited for someone to acknowledge us. Fifteen minutes later after we were asked our drink order. Two tables were sat after us and were helped and served before us. That is not ok. Employees seemed to be upset. Was a very uncomfortable feeling. Will not be back.

Four of us went here for breakfast on a suggestion. I will say the waitress was good but none of us cared for the coffee. It was no more than watered down swill. We asked if there was any stronger coffee available but it's not that type of place. We were told it came in a bag and it's 1 bag per pot of water. Guess no one figured out to make better tasting coffee,they may not be able to control the amount of coffee in a bag, they can control the amount of water in the pot. Three of us had scrambled eggs and all three dishes were way over done...read crispy scrambled eggs. Our fourth person ordered his eggs easy over. Again it was over done on the sides. The bacon was good though. Overall, we all quickly agreed to cross this one off our list.

I'm partial to locally owned family restaurants and actively seek them to experience local flavor. This place seemed to fit the need. It serves breakfast and lunch only. Since I hadn't had breakfast, I ordered 2 eggs, sausage (patty), hash browns, and toast. The eggs were cooked as ordered, the sausage was alright, as were the hash browns and toast. The food itself was nothing special. Pick up a crate of eggs and sausage from Sam's Club and go into business. In other words, there was no local flavor or flair to the food. The staff was pleasant, again nothing out of the ordinary. There is one element of my dining experience that I find disturbing. Immediately before and again after I ordered I attempted to use the men's room and found it locked. I tried again and waited at the door until my food arrived, not opened. I tried again after eating, again the men's room was locked. Notifying the staff was of no help. Finally, we left. I suspect the men's room wasn't functional. At least they could've put up signage, out of order. Would that be a code violation?

Poor service, cold food. Dont waste your money. $20 for two breakfasts of 2 eggs (we asked for over medium we got over easy) 2 slices of cold bacon, 2 pieces of cold rye toast and hashbrowns that were uncooked. The server (Trish) took forever to acknowledge us and take our order, I asked for water with lemon, I got water, no lemon. Trish didnt ever come back to check on us to see if everything was okay and didn't believe us when we told her everything was cold. We paid the bill and promised not to go back.

What a disappointment! Eggs were not done as ordered. Home fries were awful. And the hamburger my husband had was NOT prime meat as advertised. Such a huge mistake trying this To top it off our waitress had a real attitude. The other waitresses were helpful and looked quite friendly though.

This is just a simple place with hood simple American-style food prepared well and promptly and served with a smile. Nothing fancy, just good basic good in a neat and clean basic establishment. It makes no airs, and you should not expect high-end. It is value for a modest price.

This is a popular place for plus-sized people, bikers, Sunday morning church families and local residents. A "budget conscious" crowd willing to wait in long lines for mediocre fried eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and other "country" food. Once seated, they put up with unpleasant, rushed, I-don't-give-a-damn-about-you service in a tired, shopworn dining hall reminiscent of a high school cafeteria. And when the bill arrives, they realize that the management has charged them an extra "surcharge" on eggs. Huh? So the price on the menu is not the real price? Why not just change the price on the menu? I REALLY dislike this place. Below average food, zero ambiance, rude service and shady pricing practices. There are so many great breakfast places in and around Indian River County...this ain't one of them. Sorry.

I love this place. Simple, quick, freshly squeezed OJ yum, and staff are so friendly. Outdoor but covered seating available, indoor breakfast bar, booths, and tables. Just a joy to eat here!

This place makes *great* breakfast AND lunch. We came the morning after Thanksgiving around 10:30 AM, and the place was packed. Fortunately we had a reservation; but we still had to wait ~10 min after being seated to get served drinks, another ~10 to get our order in, and then ~20 min for our food. Nobody complained. The ambiance was lovely, and the food was hot and perfectly cooked when it arrived. The Reuben was more like a melt and was DELICIOUS! Hubby loved the Eggs Benedict. The hash browns are fresh and crispy, the iced tea ranks high with my kids, and the coffee is hot and strong. We'd certainly eat at Country Ham 'n Egg again when we have time for a long meal.

It's been years since we ate here, and I remember why. While our food was OK, it wasn't anything to brag about. I had a 3-egg plate with grits and a biscuit. The eggs were over cooked (I ordered over-medium and they were done completely) and the biscuit dry. I even heard another server talking to a different customer about his overdone eggs too. The grits were alright, but required too much to be added to make them have by flavor. My son ordered the kids pancake, bacon, and scrambled egg. He ate the meat and egg but couldn't finish the pancake. He said the flavor was good but the texture was too "thick." My daughter ordered her usual for breakfast: home fries and hollandaise sauce. While both tasted pretty good, the sauce was separated when it came to the table, like it was ladled from a big pot of premade stuff. Kids meals don't include a drink, so tack on an extra $5 for a couple kids drinks. Our server was great and friendly. But I think some food tweaks could help them a bit.

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots! Been coming to this place for 14 years (old location and new). Had my normal: Country Fried Steak (extra crispy) with a side of eggs, bacon, and fries...then washed it all down with a pancake and a coffee!! YOU KNOW IT! Staff is always friendly and attentive! Trust me...You'll go home with a belly full of wonderfulness (if that's even a thing).

Food was really good and filling. Portions were amazing for the prices. My son had an Angus Burger and said it was better then mine. I'm impressed he's a picky eater. They only are open till 2:30 pm so if you want a good almost home cooked meal come here before they end their day. So far the 2nd gem in Sebastian.

The inside is outdated with paneling walls but the the breakfast was great and reasonable prices. The place seems always busy as it was today but the service was quick and the food came to the table in no time. One of the few places that offer pork roll. I will be coming back. They do close early at 2pm daily.

OKay ... good ole local neighborhood diner...so for a breakfast and lunch place, we were there for breakfast and it was very, very good. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and I had the eggs Benedict half order with hashbrowns and my husband had the ham steak eggs and pancake breakfast. Both of our meals were extremely delicious and cooked perfectly. The place was clean, the service was excellent, and the prices were extremely reasonable. For a breakfast and lunch place it deserves a five star.

Absolutely a wonderful place to go and during the difficult times right now, take out / curbside is all we could do. But let me say how nice the Manager and people here were!!! Super nice tonya and our lil pup who I'm sure is anxious too. The vegetarian omelette and hash browns i got were amazing!! Fresh and BIG!! My wife's chicken salad club was super and can't wait to come back and sit on the patio when this is over. Hoping sooner than later. We will definitely be back!! Great meal to take to the park with our pup Sailor and get some exercise after. So needless to say we needed the exercise to walk off the delicious food...and to kick it off we met the owner at the park !! Ha who'd have thunk that. Cheers and see you soon!
