It was Ok.
I had been here once before for breakfast about two years ago.
From what I remember the Steak & Eggs, were pretty good.
So the BF & I decided to really give this place a try.
We ordered a sausage pizza, to share.
I ordered the Fried Chicken Dinner, with a garlic salad & red potato's.
(*I WAS HANDED A FRIED PORK CHOP, & THERE WAS NOBODY AROUND TO SAY ANTHING TO*)
The BF ordered the Pulled Pork Dinner, with soup and beans.
*******To start, the Pork Chop- I DID NOT ORDER, I decided to keep it since I couldn't find someone.. & because I didn't want to be a complainer. It takes work to fry a pork chop, and I really wasn't in the mood to be a negative person and start complaining.*******
The Pork Chop was bone in, and was kind of tough.
It was super hot, and that was very pleasant as I LOVE my food piping hot.
It really wasn't worth the price, as it did not have a lot of meat on the bone & was not moist.
The pizza was pretty good.
It really should have been cooked a bit longer, as the cheese was barely melted. But I know trying to control a pizza oven like that is next to impossible.
The BF's Pulled Pork Dinner, was written all over his face.
Disappointing.
Very, VERY RARELY has he EVER complained about food.
This was a swing and a miss.
I was told that the pork itself was so/so.
But there wasn't much of it, and the bread kind of took over the plate.
Even though I paid for the meal, he said it "was not worth that price at all".
I think some things at this restaurant can be hit or miss.
It's like a General Restaurant, but with a neat brick oven.
