All staff are so friendly, cannot do enough for you. Rooms are lovely and very tidy. Dinner was perfect both nights, and breakfast was lovely- fresh fruit and omelets made on request. You pick your own Pack lunch on safari days and such a good variety to choose from. Thank you, will definitely return.

Country lodge in Karatu is just outside the Ngorongoro crater and accessible to the other parks. It is slightly upscale and economical. The good is very good, especially the soups.||My family and I enjoyed our stay as this was our relatively upscale accommodation for our two week safari. Previously we spent time in tented lodges which offer a different experience

Really good place, really good people just amazing to stay there for Tanzania. Especially the workers are really helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is really good and I love the hotels nature. The only problem was there was a little much mosquitos. But this is Tanzania 🥶

Clean, beautiful, and kind staff. Only thing I'd say is that during dinner, staff should provide more space and privacy for the diners. It feels like there's multiple staffs watching a little too much. Good attentiveness though, just needs some refining and balance.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel during our family safari. Everything was perfect—the rooms, the restaurant, and the food—but above all, the service and the staff, who were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. I highly recommend it without hesitation!

We stayed in a small bungalow. It was comfortable. The staff and food were really great. It was buffet style and delicious. The grounds were well kept and the pool looked really nice. Overall it was a good place to stay. We only stayed 1 night but I wished we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Country Lodge in Karatu. We stayed for 2 nights as we visited Ngorongoro Crater and then Tarangire National Park. The staff were all wonderful and so kind. The restaurant serves a buffet style dinner each night which was decent. The food there in general was not my favorite, but it also wasn't bad by any means. Just not memorable compared to the rest of our trip. The room itself was large with a spacious bathroom, and it had a nice little outdoor patio with chairs to lounge in or read. Overall we liked the property, it was a little bit rustic for our tastes but it had a lot of charm to it and great people running it.
