Couples Negril

I will say this my husband and I had our honeymoon here and the views, beach and fresh fish and juices speak for itself but the highlight of our trip was the WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY, and knowledgeable staff. A very special thank you to Romano( front desk), Franklin ( bell hop) Micheal, O’Jay and Alex (Watersports), Nathaniel ( Bar) and Dean ( Team Lead at Cassava Terrace) as well as the ladies that work at the veggie bar they truly made our honeymoon special!!!

This was our third time to Couples. Its always great! The staff is wonderful! The hurricane was coming the week we were there and had to go home early due to that. We will definitely be back! We appreciate the kindness from all of the staff. Always makes vacation great! Merry Christmas!

A decent stay, but not quite what we expected. The rooms were noticeably outdated and showed signs of wear, including visible water damage and a general lack of upkeep. While the resort is marketed as a smaller, more boutique-style property, it felt more like a standard hotel due to the number of rooms and overall layout. Despite its larger size, the resort didn’t feel overly crowded, and we rarely encountered many other guests. However, this is not a luxury property—the atmosphere and amenities are more casual. The dining options reflected this as well: meals were simple and familiar rather than gourmet or high-end. The main buffet offered a typical selection of comfort foods, suitable for picky eaters or vegetarians, though not ideal for those seeking an upscale culinary experience. A nice touch was the nightly entertainment during dinner, which added some liveliness and atmosphere to the evenings without being intrusive. The beach itself was beautiful, with soft sand and clear water, but it is not private, which meant frequent interruptions from local vendors selling jewelry, jet ski rentals, or other items. This made it difficult to fully relax at times. Another enjoyable detail was the self-serve ice cream station, perfect for cooling off during the day. Overall, a good option for travelers seeking a simple, budget-friendly stay with a bit of nightly entertainment, but those looking for luxury, privacy, or a true boutique feel may want to explore other options

This is a beautiful resort with the loveliest staff who will go out of their way to make your vacation special. Plenty of fun activities included in the all-inclusive price with no pressure to participate, but you'll have a great time if you do! So much to offer that's often excluded from other supposedly all-inclusive resorts, including tennis lessons, personal training, and even scuba diving for certified divers (enquire for details).

My husband and I had never been to Jamaica before and we absolutely LOVED the resort and staff. We met other amazing couples from all over the states who had been coming back to the resort year after year and offered lots of insight! The food at each of the restaurants was great. Well seasoned and authentic. The staff were attentive and efficient. We decided to do a Garden room and that did not disappoint. The view was lovely and serene. The room was clean and always stocked. The house keepers made sure you always had what you needed without asking. The pool was a perfect temperature and the swim up bar was always fully stocked! Of course I can’t forget to compliment how clean the beach was! It was beautiful and well kept. Clear water and nothing but sand! Needless to say, we will absolutely be coming back!

Couples Negril is advertised as a five star resort it is not even close. 3.5 stars at best. We booked here last minute after the Excellence Oyster Bay cancelled due to hurricane damage. We had booked 4 days at Rockhouse (3rd visit) which is an amazing place and 3 days at Couples Negril as a replacement for the Excellence. The property has access to an amazing beach and the rooms are recently renovated and clean. The food was definitely not 5 star, the nightly entertainment was horrible the wifi was almost non existent you could definitely not work from this resort. ||We made a change to our flight home so I went to see the front desk to let them know and arrange the shuttle to the airport. They made me sign a waiver because we did not want to leave 5.5 hours before our flight. I triple confirmed the date and time (Friday at 3:15pm) we were at the lobby to check out at 3:00pm. No shuttle at 3:15 when I approached the desk the team lead went to check on our shuttle. 5 minutes later he came back tell us the driver was 15 minutes out he was running late. The driver confirmed that they called him at home on his day off to hurry because they have forgotten to book our transfer. So they lied to us and did not admit their mistake. This is NOT 5 star service. Avoid this place, there are so many great hotels in Jamaica not worth spending your money here.

We had the pleasure of staying there the week of Christmas and it was a blast spending Christmas at couples Negril was one of my best Christmas ever thank you couples for making our Christmas weekend so special for us. You will definitely see us this year again and thanks to everyone who was so kind to us, while we were there I got sick and everyone made sure that I better I left the resort

My husband ( a Jamacia Native) and I spent a full week at this resort for our anniversary and it was spectacular. From the door we felt right at home. From the assistance of the front desk ladies, wonderful service and cuisine in all of the dining areas, creativity and cleanliness of the housekeepers ; we were treated swell. There was always something fun to experience in the evenings as well. The beach area is crisp and clean with clear seas .We're planning to experience the other campuses across the island as we speak. Thank you all for one the best vacations ever.
