I had a pleasant time here. The room was clean, and the AC was extremely cold, just how I liked it. The service was awesome, and the front desk staff was very friendly. Good amount of parking and close to the front lobby and rooms. There's a great little casino inside, fun times! There's even a 24-hour Dennys restaurant inside the location.

Google
Good location, very clean, good service. Has a Denny's in place. Some pool items like seats needs some fix or buy new ones. Also it was saturday in a very sunny day and the pool bar did not open. Apart from that is was a nice experience i will come back again.

I've stayed here a few times and must say it has improved greatly. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Pool is grest for kids. Locarion is central, meaning theres quick access to major roads to travel the Island. If you arrive via the local Aguadilla airport, ypu are golden, since it is nearby. The only thing missing is a restaurant on site other than (or in addition to) the Dennis.

Upon our arrival at 2 am, we found the clerk sitting in Denny's and it was inconvenient to ask to check us in. She intentionally assigned us the room right behind the elevator. The rooms are extremely small, certainly not worth the price. It was a terrible stay as all we could hear was the elevator going up and down. This establishment should provide etiquette classes for their employees. I would not choose to stay here again.

Rude staff that provided incorrect information. We requested a late checkout which was approved by Marriott in their app but they disabled our keys and housekeeping tried to come in while showering. I would recommend checking other options if possible.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay at the Courtyard Aguadilla in Puerto Rico from May 19, 2024, to May 20, 2024. The experience was far from the high standards I have come to expect from the Marriott brand, and I am compelled to bring these serious issues to your attention.||Upon checking in, we requested and were approved for a late checkout at 4 PM. However, on the day of checkout, we returned from an excursion at 2 PM only to find that all of our hotel keys had been invalidated. This caused us significant inconvenience and frustration as we were unable to access our room. When we approached the front desk to resolve this issue, clerk Gabriella brushed off our concerns without any apology, further aggravating the situation.||After ensuring the hotel staff was aware of our late checkout, we returned to our room only to have a housekeeper attempt to barge in while I was taking a shower. This intrusion was extremely distressing and unprofessional.||At checkout, we wanted to confirm that we were only charged for one night of stay. We requested to speak with the manager on site, Elvin Sein, but were told they were unavailable. The lack of supervision and unavailability of the manager is concerning and indicative of poor management practices.||When we tried to address our grievances with the front desk staff, the supervisor, Paola Denizard, responded with a condescending attitude, making us feel belittled and threatened. This was the final straw, and we left the hotel feeling deeply upset and disrespected.||These incidents have left us with a very negative impression of Marriott and have severely impacted our trust in your brand. We felt disregarded, disrespected, and unsafe throughout our stay. As loyal customers who have always chosen Marriott for our travels, this experience was profoundly disappointing.

Google
From my experience, this is the nicest hotel in the Aguadilla area. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel has a large family friendly swimming area with plenty of things to do for the children. There is a casino in the hotel and a Denny's restaurant, too. Service is great and there is plenty of parking by the hotel. Highly recommend.

They just need to change the room decor and room service, otherwise location is great and the rest of the staff at the Casino and cafe were the best.

Yelp
Great hotel with a casino, coffee shop, and Denny's inside. Upon checking in at 3, my room wasn't ready. I didn't have a issue with this at all. The free drink voucher for guests from the front desk was pleasant. I went to the on site casino, a few feet away. The security halted me and told me I wasn't allowed to bring my suitcase inside. I explained that my room wasn't ready. So they proceeded to show me where I could store my belongings while I went to the bar in the casino. The bartender was polite and recommended a refreshing "Don Q" drink. This consisted of Don Q coco rum, and pineapple juice. I sat at the end of the bar and waited with my arm on the counter. As I went to adjust my seat, I realized it was a huge puddle of syrup I had placed my hand and wallet in. The bartender cleaned it after I pointed it out. Moments later a man who seemed to manager like asked if I could move to a different seat because they needed to work on the sign. I said sure, and he said, for your trouble, you can have another drink on the house. I sat at the bar waiting for my room, enjoying my drink and complementary mixed nuts. My room was ready in 30min. I had to navigate through the hotel, outside, and back in. My room was on floor 2, which could only be accessible with a valid room key. I loved that part! The room was nice, nothing too spectacular, but a nice room nonetheless. The smell in the air was "dank", the room was an icebox. I immediately turned off the AC. I did notice that the elevator was extremely dark as the sun went down. I'm glad I was in the elevator with my female friend. My one night stay was ok, I wished they had a variety of energy drinks at the front desk.

Edgard V.

Yelp
My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The staff's attitude was unwelcoming, and the rooms had a pervasive moldy smell. Additionally, the pool was over-bleached, making it unpleasant to use. To top it off, they charge for parking, which felt like an unnecessary extra fee. I've been a regular guest at the Mayaguez Holiday Inn and the Aquarius in Boqueron for years without any complaints. I decided to try a new location on the north side of the island, but this experience has ensured that I will never return to this hotel.

Nilza M.

Yelp
Dingy room linens and filthy stained pool towels! Musty hallways. Fire alarms going off throughout the evening. Pool area could use some serious updating. Not up to par with the Marriott brand I have come to love and trust.

Eric K.

Yelp
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Do not stay here if you want to avoid a heartache. Yelp
Definitely not up to Marriott standards at all! This hotel is fake nice: I can't think of a better way to put it. Cheesy casino, cheesy coffee shop, cheesy pool area which make it "fake nice" in my opinion. Dennys was way overpriced (over $60 for two people for a basic breakfast). The pool was dirty and not really nice at all. And don't get me started on the room. LOOKED okay, but there were ants. ANTS! I can't even! We were on the third floor so there is no reason why there should be ants, let alone in a Marriott! They charge you $8 a night for parking but WHY? You literally in the middle of nowhere and it should be included. Next time we are in the area, we'll stay in ACTUAL Aguadilla and not some random location outside of the main town.

Ellen L.

Yelp
I am at three because although it's good, it's really not up to all of Marriott's standards. I don't know why Marriott keeps doing this. I had a similar experience in Lake Powell at the Marriott there. I think they're franchises. Anyway, the people are very professional, friendly, and helpful. They do read their chats, which is nice not all Marriotts do. And this site does have actual Marriott beds and pillows, which is amazing. It seemed like we would be right on the beach, but were not anywhere near a beach. The pool is small with lots of childlike toys to play with. So not really an adult pool. There's no restaurant and the restaurant at the hotel next-door is average. There is a Denny's on site, but having tried it three times and the food coming out completely cold each time decided we would go to Walmart and buy food. Lol I'll add pictures later.

Yelp
I emailed the GM, Tomas Velez ahead to time since we were coming in at a last moments notice. My mother-in-law and fallen and had only a screw placed in her hip due to her advanced age, but was in good spirits. I paid for an upgrade and as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite, we hoped for a quite location away from the sounds of the casino. They did a great job and put us up on the third floor in a corner family suit, with fast Internet service. Yes, the AC are the window/wall style, just do not ever use the 'Automatic' setting or the compressor will restart every time sounding like a racing motorcycle. The hotel is bright, clean, and conveniently located near the airport, shops, local stores, and restaurants on the northwest side of PR. The huge parking lot was well lit and made us feel very safe. The Desk staff is very nice, wonderful and always there for us anytime of day, always friendly. The free water bottle replacement was easy as we just stopped by the front desk and got one every day. The bed had a great mattress and towel replacement service was easy, with a linen closet at the end of the hallway. No matter what time of day the showers always had hot water. There's a nice Casino and they have a lobby coffee shop. The pool area is huge, clean and had plenty of nice towels. The 24-hour vending machine on the lobby level was great. There is also a Denny's on-site and because they are located in a International business zone the bar can stay open 24 hours/day. We had a great time in well managed, very nice, hotel.

Michael M.

Yelp
Terrible place took 250 for incidentals but you can only buy coffee and snacks. Then when I snacks a coffee they did not use the incidental money they charged my card over and above. My room still had trash in it when I checked in the towels had stains on them the internet did not work all week The staff told me it was the router I. My room but nobody in the 14 rooms we had booked were able to use the internet. Also there were homes in the walls of the room. 2 people in our party had AC units that did not work snd the staff did nothing. Do not stay here find d other place this place is terrible. I used to be a big Marriott rewards member and let's see if they resolve this issue with me. They have one chance to gain my trust and I stay in hotels 4 nights a eeek all year for work. Balls i your court Marriott

Erik S.

Yelp
This place needs a serious renovation, especially the bathrooms. It has an overwhelming smell of water melon air freshener. (What odor are they trying to cover up?) Uncomfortable bed due to worn out mattress. Noisy window AC. Internet is painfully slow. Service is equally lacking, can't buy as much as a water bottle after 9:30 pm. No vending machines. Look elsewhere for your accommodations.

Yelp
Best hotel on this part of the island. Clean, bright, fresh, nice rooms with working fire alarms and plenty of towels and tissues. A lot of military and all airline workers stay at this hotel if that tells you something. Water and coffee available in the room huge TV and plenty of pillows. Our second time staying here. First was in April and it was a great stay. Room are huge! Staff is also great. Nice pool for the kids. We left the dump Hotel El Faro that was highly rated on a travel site. Always go to Yelp! I'm really upset that I paid what I did for that place.

Marie E.

Yelp
The negative: The hotel is a little run down. Mold in the bathrooms, musty smell in the rooms. Very worn furniture and bedding. No breakfast included. Close to the shore but no views of the ocean or access to beach. The positive: they have strict covid protocols, a nice pool area for kids. Marriott should invest in updating facilities.

Edward M.

Yelp
I stayed here for a week on business. Honestly there aren't a lot of decent options in the immediate area for a business traveler. It's in an odd quasi-residential location but once you find it it's fine. Inside and out it was relatively clean but feels very dated. My room was ok but the air-conditioning was very noisy. Though honestly I seemed to sleep ok once I got used to it. The hotel is bigger than it looks and contains a small casino on the ground floor. It also has a small coffee shop. The worse part is the restaurant on site. It's a Denny's. Really? That's the best they can do? Apparently the previous restaurant wasn't bad but now it's a Denny's. Overall it's just ok. It's close to the office so it's not a bad option for me.

Yelp
This place is so far below Marriott standards! We came to town for a wedding checking in Feb 28 check out March 5th. Due to flight delays we got in at 4:30am on March 1st and went right to sleep, later that day we get up and get ready to go to some pre wedding activities and our toilet clogs up we call the front desk and they send someone up to fix it. As were still getting ready to go i keep smelling something like poop i go into the bathroom and the maintenance worker took the fecal matter (poop) and toilet paper out of the toilet put it in our trash can and left i see this and start gaging and vomiting we call the front desk and they send someone up to clean the bathroom. then we try to put the TV on while we finish getting ready but the tv doesn't work we call back down to the front desk they say they will send someone up by the time we leave about a hour later no one has came to fix the tv at this point we are totally pissed off. we stop by the front desk on our way out and they said there is no one on site to look at the tv they will be in again tomorrow. at this point between the disgusting issue with the toilet and the tv they should off offered to change our room. March 2nd the day of the wedding we call the front desk to remind them we need our TV fixed they said it will be fixed today. On our way out the GM Tomas Velez was at the front desk he apologized for the toilet incident and assured us the Tv would be fixed by the time we got back. It wasn't fixed!! March 3rd we call the front desk and ask to speak to Tomas were told he isn't available so we go down stairs to the front desk he's standing there! He apologizes again and offers us 10,000 bonvoy points at this point we ask for our room to be changed and he says they are full. I tell him that i am insulted if he thinks 10,000 bonvoy can make this better so he say they can only give 10,000 max points a day so he will give 10,000 to day and 10,000 tomorrow thats enough points to cover 1 night in this hotel. The Tv in our room never gets fixed during our stay, im a platinum bonvoy member ive stayed at many many marriotts but none of them this bad, after out last conversation with Tomas we were told he was unavailable every time we called or came to the front desk very poor customer service and very run down rooms i am so disappointed in marriott

Elena K.

Yelp
Not a vacation spot. I'm only here because I have to be. Not by choice. I stayed in the 2nd building. Not the lobby/check in location building. I assume the rooms that someone Yelped about as being small are in the main building bc both of my rooms were average size. Breakfast buffet is typical of hotel buffet. The Steak & Eggs off the menu was yummy. Didn't visit the casino but it's here. I wouldn't plan a trip here...ever. :)

Annette W.

Yelp
This was awesome if you are in the military or just visting friends who are it's a great place to stay on site laundry services a restaurant air conditioning a casino fir this who gamble wgat ever you do no sekfies by the casino the female staff freak out about it somthing about security breach i guess everyone else is very helpful a great pool good business center and plenty of hot water i had a good time and the kids liked it too a lot of people seem to write this place bad reviews I'm not sure why if you have stayed at alot of hotels and motels on the island it's not that bad trust me and there is a bar/ nightclub at the end of the road that plays really good reggeton on the weekends and have fantastic drink specials however if you go to that bar lol there is no toilet seat or paper in the girls bathroom so use the guys

Yelp
Courtyard by Marriott in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico We stayed at the Courtyard from the 12th to the 15th of February 2015. The hotel is located behind the Aguadilla Airport in an industrial setting. The staff was great and polite, very professional. Our room was huge (we had the last room on the 2nd floor - meaning we didn't have room next to ours). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small in comparison with the size of the room. Pros: near airport if flying into Aguadilla; rooms were comfortable, staff super awesome, kids pool, casino inside hotel!! Negatives: lots of abandoned buildings in the area; lacks more free parking spaces; food expensive; pool area super loud; loud music until 11pm; you hear everything happening in the pool area; bathroom vent not working. There are no off the beaten path places to eat; lack of signage. Overall: it was ok! Would I stay here?? Yes! Worth the money!

Joe T.

Yelp
After a long flight, I booked this hotel in Aguadilla.... I mean it's a Marriott, can't be that bad. Well, the receptionist Franchesca was very friendly and accommodating. I walked in a 7am knowing check-in was at 3pm, but she was very understanding and helped me get a room as soon as possible and told me to enjoy the hotel amenities in the meantime. Gracias Franchesca! The restaurant was a whole different experience however! I Wrote a yelp review about it bc I notice the management just responds to negative posts but really does nothing to make matters better. Plus they can't remove the post! I just hope I'm not going to leave Puerto Rico with salmonella poisoning after eating a RAW muffin dough sandwich they CHARGED me for. I actually threw it up! Bad service! Jose Torres room #166

Kat V.

Yelp
I'm taking away two stars because the air conditioning was not working properly at night, we had it at 60 which was the lowest possible and it was so hot at night. The staff is friendly at least but somehow they made us stay in the furthest building because the main building "full". Maybe this is Because we had Marriott points and this room was free. The main building did not look full at all by the lobby and parking lot being empty but oh well, we walked a long way. The restaurant seemed ok and the staff was friendly but we decided to eat out and they wouldn't give us any suggestions about restaurants in the area. The pool was nice, but we didn't get in. It looked clean. The building we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The beds were soft and clean but we think this is probably the least liked Marriott we have stayed at. Room #361 - 5/31/17

Frao M.

Yelp
Excellent. Specially Keicha front desk employee. This girl is very kind and very beatiful.

Seth F.

Yelp
Been staying at this hotel for the past few years. Nothing really to complain about. Front staff is always nice and the guys in the casino bar always know me when I return. Casino isn't bad I win some and loss some but don't really like how they shuffle the cards for blackjack. Best part now is there a Denny's with a bar inside the hotel and that's is nice since there aren't many places to eat near by. But definitely stay best hotel in the area.

Manuel A.

Yelp
And I am being generous giving it 1 star, maintenance is atrocious, showers are filthy see pics, rooms are tiny, Internet is $10 per device!! As is about 20 years old and noisy, not enough plugs for electronics, 3 only available!! No microwave, and the hallway smells like Raid roach killer spray. Swimming pool looked great, but when my son approached it, there was scum leafs and unknown particles on the surface, so we turned around and left. AVOID THIS HOTEL ITS HORRIBLE!!

Or-g S.

Yelp
This is one of the most expensive hotel with the least amount of amenities. No microwave, no fridge, no toiletries, loud music ( so loud windows in the room were vibrating and to top it of the air conditioning unit was like being by the train tracks. Horrible experience would not recommend to anyone!!!

Tracy S.

Yelp
Nice value for price. Found room to be clean, a good size and had a fridge. Note all rooms don't have one so ask. Good location to use as a jump off point to local attractions. It is not a destination spot in itself except for the casino which gets filled up at night. So if you coming in late parking can get tight.

Cliff G.

Yelp
It's 12:20 am and I'm wide awake because the music in the Casino is VERY VERY VERY LOUD! But we don't have any choice, this is the only Courtyard by Marriott hotel near Rincon and Mayaguez...Sucks!

Joe M.

Yelp
The service in the casino is poor. You have to wait about 30 minutes for a "bocadillo".The manager must visit the casino in Manati, Sheraton and Embassy

Georgia P.

Yelp
Room is awesome and Carlos is fabulous, helpful and accommodating as well as his lady colleague - giving us a great room!! Be mindful of the area and park in the lot to the right of the hotel to avoid having to pay the $8/day fee. Minutes from the BQN airport, it's easy enough to get a bit more sleep when taking early flights.

Chris D.

Yelp
Casino - small, but has blackjack, roulette, and slots Bar - Terrible bar staff. God forbid there's more than 20 people in the whole casino or the staff will start fighting amongst each other and complain to annoyed customers about how "busy" it is. I guess this is what happens when you hire lazy ass wanna-be bar tenders. What a joke... Restaurant - decent food, very cheap! You can get two entrees for $20.

Nelly P.

Yelp
First time staying here & like it! Definitely staying again. The staff are really attentive. The room was big with a comfy bed. The breakfast was buffet with a lots of options. Lunch was good too. They have a bar inside the casino. The pool has a kids area & a regular area.

John H.

Yelp
The accomodation is smaller than what you would expect for a regular courtyard by Marriott room. Be ware of getting stuck with rooms right behind elevator - very noisy and not sure if it should even be a hotel room as there is no way anyone can sleep when the bed is right against the elevator shaft. The greed has blinded the hotel management's sense of customer service and providing an environment that travellers can rest and recharge. Shameful.

Andrea E.

Yelp
I would give no stars if possible. An employee offered to give us service although we came late at night. When we got there they said too bad but took our money. Threw us out on the streets to look for another hotel at 1:30am!!!! We had no course of transportation as we used a shuttle to get to the hotel. Poor customer service with no human decency. Who throws people out in the middle of the night? What makes it worse is three people came in 10 min after and got a room right away

Yahaira G G.

Yelp
service was great the facilities were nice and the staff very courteous , only bad thing was we saw a cockroach in the room on our last day hope they fix the problem soon.

Fingers C.

Yelp
I started going to this Marriott a cousin invited us for the day. The Pool was clean and its also Kid safe, friendly. The Beer were very cold and waiters were running around so if you didn't want to get up you waive and they stop. take order of food and beverages. The casinos are fair, remember scared money makes no money. Overall i have to say i am a fan I pass thru every time i get a chance.Thank you Marriott.

Jessica A.

Yelp
This hotel had a lot of potential but was just okay.

Heidi T.

Yelp
Basic hotel with basic hotel room. We are in Puerto Rico and wanted to visit the West side of the island on a last minute suggestion and this was one of the only hotels with availability. The room was regular size, with a Queen bed and large bathroom. Everything was very clean, the staff was friendly at check in and everything was seamless. We were only here for a night while we explored Isabela and Rincon, but can say it was a good place at a good rate.

L H.

Yelp
Rooms were fine. Customer service is atrocious - we found two out of our three rooms already occupied by other guests when we arrived and opened the doors to our room, we were missing towels and bedding for the pull out couch and worse of all they never answered the guests services phone so we had to go to the lobby to resolve anything. The pool was nice, but there was no one working the pool, so you had to ask the lady manning the cookie shop inside for towels, and many umbrellas were broken. The restaurant is gross.

Otis I.

Yelp
This is not a good pick, unless you have 12 hours left in Puerto Rico and you are leaving. Otherwise Stay Away!!!!!

True B.

Yelp
Not the best Marriott experience but will be the only Marriott experience you can check into because it's the only one located on the western side of the island. Establishment is co-located with a casino which is a problem with non-guests specially on Fri-Sun creating a lot of noise. The rooms near the pool offer no sound proofing and a bucket of water which is annoying as hell starts dumping water from 7 am until around 8 pm (every 5 minutes). The food is overpriced and not even close to gourmet. The staff is courteous but I feel the rooms are not sanitary but only kept tidy visually. I don't believe my room was ever vacuumed or toilet sanitized the entire 15 day stay, with 1 day of no cleaning service at all. Hotel Customers have to pay for parking but there is no designated special are for hotel guests to park because all the non-paying non-staying casino customers fill up all the stalls. Annoying!

Anja K.

Yelp
The breakfast was very good, especially the coffee and the fruit. I have been to many Courtyards and this was much better since I was served by a waitress and all the food was freshly made. I was glad to see that I could go until 11:00, so I had time to take advantage of the fitness center in the morning. Some of the machines and tvs were defect but I still enjoyed a solid workout. The carpet in my room was damp, which I didn't enjoy too much. Overall though, the room was nicely cleaned and kept. It was similar in size and style to most Courtyards, and I wouldn't call it anything special. The service was friendly and most employees spoke English, which was helpful. The pool area included two pools and many chairs and tables to sit at. It was busy with families and children for most the day but I still found it very inviting. The hotel was pretty central to many locations including Agudilla, the beach, many restaurants and stores such as Walgreens. But the immediate surroundings weren't as pleasant and a little run-down. For the price, it was great place to stay and I was positively surprised by the service and breakfast.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Initially very pleased with how clean the room is.. Even the hallway smells amazing. Bed is comfy. Check in was easy although getting to my room in the back building was a hassle. Staff wasn't helpful at all. Pool looked decent, more "family" oriented for kids than relaxing. There's a few things to do including a coffee place, restaurant, casino, etc. the breakfast I had at the restaurant was disappointing and overpriced. $13 for burnt eggs, 3 tiny slices of bacon and potatoes? And then I realized I was charged for parking, which is stupid. Aguadilla was a great place to visit (ESP crash boat beach). Won't stay at this place again tho. Not worth the money at all.

Ann T.

Yelp
What a disappointment. Far from everything. At night you have to rely on a GPS to get you back in the dark. Pretty scary. The room seemed clean, but you lay down in bed and smell urine coming from the carpet. Seemed like I was boxed into this room with a filthy window overlooking into the parking lot. I could get the window open because it's screws shut. Bathroom floor filthy. I used the towels to mop. Shower tiles filthy. The entire bathroom needs some work. Really uncomfortable when you don't have anywhere to put down your stuff in the bathroom but a hook on the wall. What I enjoyed the most was the service provider by a waiter in the restaurant down stairs. I ate there three times. Twice for dinner. Luis the waiter provided excellent service. A true professional with delightful information about the island. Great sightsee advise and history. The foo was surprisingly good. Skirt steak excellent. Shrimp appetizer with plantain fantastic. Food great across the board. Breakfast could have been a bit better. If you go to the local bakery they serve a great breakfast and really inexpensive. Luis just took Dinning here to another level. Bet this guy can be a huge asset to the hotel. The man is highly intelligent and has great insights. That's the best part of the Marriott Courtyard. Beware on weekends. Locals elderly come here to have a good time at the casino. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. I guess we all reach that age. I don't plan to be at any casino trying to relive my younger years. I guess we do what we can with what we have. God bless them. They look like they come every weekend. Pretty loud. They passed around hotdogs and free Soda to gamblers. Marriott can diffidently do better and try to live up to half their image. Unlike any other Marriott hotel I ever stayed at. By the way, toilet clogged everyday. Everyday I had to call for help.

Yelp
This hotel maybe the worst I have ever stayed at. It used to be a hospital that has been converted to a hotel. I believe this should be disclosed and I had to hear about it from a local. The pool area is the only reason I even gave it one star. The restaurant service and food was terrible, everyone was very rude and looked like did not want to work. There is also a David's cookie in the lobby that was worst then anything I have ever seen. The lady at the counter did not even make eye contact. I said thank you and she barely acknowledged me. The room service was almost laughable, the maid told me she may make it to our room because she gets off at 12 (she never made it). I honestly thought I was on a hidden camera show. We voiced all of these concerns to the front desk, they said the manager will get back to us and never did.

Yelp
Ok, I only write five star reviews because for Lent last year I'd resolved to give up bitterness, and the exercise has sort of taken on a life of its own... a small mission to Sing the Unsung. And I love to do it. But let's face it, life is not a constant stream of five-star experiences. And my stay here did not start off as one. Not a disaster. Just some glitches. Including at dinner. But in life, one thing I've learned is that problems and difficulty can often be the very best catalyst to goodness and real humanity... a bad thing can actually be what triggers some people to shine. And here, the relatively minor issue I had with dinner (a total first world problem btw) afforded just such an occasion. It allowed me to meet the chef, Wilson. What a guy. Gracious and sincere, he stepped in and made things so right that I just have to say "Dear Marriott Corp, please give him a raise." And it wasn't a solo performance... just as Sinatra also had a band that helped him create his music, Wilson also had support in creating this guest experience. Jorge the waiter and Carlos the manager allowed for the sweet hotelier harmony. Thanks, gents. By the way, in addition to being a wonderful diplomat and smart chef, Wilson also makes a rad flan.

Yelp
Any hotel that charges for wifi will get 1 star from me. The room was very noisy, there was no freezer nor microwave. They have complimentary free parking, but during busy season you might not find a spot there.

Yelp
Terrible, terrible place. . this hotel was Ramey Base Hospital before they turned it into a Courtyard Marriott. First the area as you drive in looks depressing. Room layouts are awkward, room looks like a hospital room, (eerie) and they are very uncomfortable, they do not have a refrigerator, front office said that only 4 rooms in the hotel had refrigerators, no chair in room to sit, no area to place your things, the night tables were tiny, the dresser where the tv was on had no space to place anything, the door to the bathroom opens toward the toilet, the towels are hanging on wall behind the door, what were they thinking? Room door was right on the outside hallway, there is no hall inside the room thus as people are loud in the hall you can hear the noise right in the room. Bed was comfortable, staff was nice, casino was clean, I picked this hotel because of the no smoking policy, but will never stay here again. The food at RB Restaurant was very good at a reasonable price. We booked additional nights but immediately cancelled after we checked in, we left early the following morning and never looked back. Beware, room 303 there are at least eight air conditioners running below, you will not be able to sleep. We looked at 3 rooms before we settled in the one I described above. Good riddance.
