Courtyard Bridgetown, Barbados

This is a good hotel located in Bridgetown, Barbados. The beach is a bit away but is a walkable distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Take a credit card or cash you don't need change for. The Bajan money is the only change you will receive back. They accept our American dollar but they have no American money to give back including ATM machines.....no American cash in the machines anywhere. Food in the hotels and locations throughout town is wonderful. Everyone cooks good here. Taxi's are the way to travel and are plentiful and timely at the hotel. Things move at their own pace here, but everyone is polite and it all gets done, the staff is friendly and helpful and whatever you need is done!

Truly a home away from home. Everyone was wonderful and we got to know a lot of the staff. The gals that work here are amazingly friendly. Food at the restaurant was awesome, breakfast was really great. Could not recommend this place enough! The beach is just a short walk away, there are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Can't wait to go back!

Spent 3 nights here after a week at the Marriott WAVES. This location allowed us to explore Bridgetown and several beach bars along the beach. Service at the Courtyard was excellent - staff is cordial & extremely friendly. Their breakfast is plentiful and tasty. From 5 - 6 they offer HH. A great hotel - location & price with many restaurants nearby. TIP: do not use the taxi service to airport located inside the hotel - they are too high priced. You can save 1/2 by finding your own taxi service, which is easy to find.

In summary, I’ve been to Barbados several times in a few months this year. Every single time, I’ve had horrible service from staff and the experience of the hotels, (other marriotts included) were borderline unwelcoming. ||THIS Marriott, on the other hand.. from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff were so welcoming and wonderful. At breakfast, Debrah, she single handedly made my experience the best. I looked forward to waking up just to meet her at breakfast. The staff were so polite, welcoming, and customer service oriented.||The bar staff at lunch were wonderful, the cleaning staff were kind, and the general stay was beyond expectations for Barbados. They really upheld the Marriott international standard.||Whoever the manager is for this hotel, understands the requirements of Marriott and they control their team the RIGHT way. ||The hotel was clean, AC worked well, room was comfortable, location was excellent, pool closes at 11pm for the late night swimmers.||I would recommend this Marriott over the majority of hotels in Barbados simply due to their efficiency and consistency of service during my stay.

A good hotel option to consider when visiting Bridgetown. The hotel is well maintained and close to several dining options. The hotel restaurant provides a good menu as well as some great beverage options. Recommend that you consider this property when planning a trip to Barbados.

Taking some time to recognize Shaunae at the front desk. Attentive, excellent customer, professional.||The operations manager has been awesome too. Professional and great service.||Their combined efforts have made my stay so much better.

Very clean accommodating in every way! The food is great! Staff outstanding! Close to shopping and restaurants, had a GREAT visit. The pool and exercise room is really nice!

Walking distance to beach. Rooms and everything else needs updating. Swimming pool is non existent. Staff weren't that friendly. Food within the premises was nice and massive portions!
