Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Airport

Very convenient location within the airport. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Some features were surprisingly lacking though for a hotel of this standard. On arrival we were warned that there would be no hot water in the bathroom due to it being powered by solar. Having a cold shower after a long flight was not a pleasant experience. We had also pre-booked and paid for breakfast and the staff then tried to charge us again for it. The room was good, average level of bed comfort but fine for one night.

I reserved a room as my flight wasn’t until 1 AM the following day. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was lovely. The restaurant was good. The room was clean, very well darkened by the drapes, and extremely quiet. I was able to get a bit of a shut eye before dragging myself out of bed for the red eye. A shuttle took me directly to terminal 2 once I checked out. A super convenient stay.

Amazing service and truly caring staff. I had a booking issue and the team went above and beyond to help me out with kindness and professionalism. They were understanding, responsive, and genuinely made me feel valued as a guest. Really appreciate the great customer service. Thank you to the wonderful staff! Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast experience was rough. 15 minutes of attempting to have an omelette made correctly and not a single one made the right way. Never had this happen before in my 150+ stays at marriott resorts. There is no e-mail to get a hold of the property before/after your stay!! What is nice is the connection to terminal 1 where there a lot of food options. the sky tram is just a few minutes walking connecting to terminal 2 every 10 minutes or so. Although the hotel has a dedicated shuttle from terminal 2 ( the office is across from seven eleven on the first floor) the traffic is so bad and can take 20+ minutes

Overall this is a good hotel, especially since it is basically connected to Terminal 1 in Mexico City. Wish there was more signage that this hotel was in terminal 1. I landed in terminal 2 and didn't realize this hotel was in the other terminal. Once we found the hotel the service was great. They helped me get checked in and gave me a late checkout which was nice since my flight doesn't leave Mexico City until 5PM local time the next day. Went to the bar to watch the football game and went for breakfast in the restaurant which had a large variety of items to choose from. They had cereal, breakfast breads and pastries, hot items like bacon, potatoes, eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc. Would definitely stay here again if I had an next day connection at this airport.

I love how I can easily get from the gate to the hotel in minutes! Also, on the way to the hotel there’s so many Mexican restaurants offering traditional authentic Mexican cuisines. The hotel itself boasts of modern style with tons of light, doesn’t feel like it’s still within the airport.

This is a great hotel. Located via an internal bridge to the terminal (this took a bit of finding due to the building works and the generally poor signage at Mexico City airport!). The staff were really friendly (particularly reception) and the rooms spotless and nicely decorated. Was a really relaxing place to stay. I would definitely use again.

When I fly out of Mexico City, I always stay at thecl airport Marriott Courtyard. On this three-night visit, I stayed in the recently-remodeled wing. The rooms are a bit austere, but they are perfectly utilitarian. The service at the front desk and from the chamber maids is always first rate. The location could not be better. I can walk from my room to my flight in minutes.

I was able to check in at 1pm as the room was ready. The hotel is inside the airport terminal 1 which is super convenient with many restaurants nearby. No need to go outside the building for anything. Nice and clean hotel with friendly staffs. Even got upgraded with their Titanium status!

Due to limited direct flight options, I had to fly in the night before the arrival of my friends who were set to arrive on Friday morning. This hotel was perfect for this case since the hotel is quite literally attached to the airport. I got off my flight in Terminal 1, which is the same terminal that the hotel is located in. I just needed to find my way. Luckily, it was pretty easy once I asked someone working in the airport to point me in the right direction. Check-in was easy and simple and my room was safe and comfortable. There is a basic restaurant that stays open fairly late if you'd like a quick bite or glass of wine. They also offer a breakfast buffet in the morning as well (for a cost.) When I checked out in the morning, it was a quick walk to the train which then took me to Terminal 2 where I met the rest of my friends upon arrival. But overall, such a convenient hotel should you need airport proximity and access when traveling to Mexico City.

After we missed our flight leaving Mexico City, we decided to book a room with this hotel. A sky bridge attaches the lobby of this hotel to terminal 1 of the MEX airport, so it's very convenient! Since we booked our stay last minute, it was quite pricey even for American standards. I wasn't expecting much out of an airport hotel but I was pleasantly surprised :) The courtyard is stunning with a lot of natural lighting. It features a coffee shop and ample seating. Even travelers from the airport can come to lounge for a few hours while waiting for their flight. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The front desk service is great. The room service was unexpectedly very delicious (though pricey). The gym was nice and clean with modern treadmills! The hotel is not the newest or the most modern but it's good for a short, clean stay.

Undergoing renovation so it's super loud and the lobby is ridiculously hot. Great staff all over from security to restaurant are beyond polite. Rooms are average but don't expect to find a refrigerator in there. They have a microwave in lobby area and vending machines etc. No ice on every floor and hot water takes time to come. It's convenient and it's clean but it's not the best.

Rooms were clean and updated, BEAUTIFUL gym cannot be beat, based on hotel building location there is no way to get a view aside from court yard; proximity to airport terminal cannot be beat. The "Mexican" food from the restaurant is a lil rough after having delicious authentic food on our trip. Men running the restaurant/dining hall need to tighten up speed of service for small asks (napkins, condiments) when everyone is eating the buffet and there are 6 men doing the waiting on tables. All of staff were kind. NO complimentary breakfast is provided, despite what website booking says!

Saul (concierge) earned these 5 stars. He was amazing. Kind, helpful, welcoming. Everything you would want in a concierge! The hotel is definitely a little tricky to get to from the airport if landing in terminal 2 - hopefully easier for terminal 1. Accommodations were nice. Quiet room, comfy bed, clean!

I have somewhat mixed feelings. First of all please see if signage can be improved. If coming from T2 by train you'd have no clue where to go to find the hotel. Come out of aitrain Station and go left, towards FHG gates. When you get to the buses hallway make a left pass a few stand food places pass the bus counters make a right then a left and you will see a sign for Marriott Courtyard hotel. Once you get there front desk check in staff should get guests checked in fast. Upon arrival you get offered a beer or water as a courtesy, but some think they have to finish their beer chatting with front desk lol. Front desk could say "we invite you to finish your beer to this side and view the center garden ot finish it in your room" so they can check in next guest Once past that, plenty of security and good views. It has a central garden area with some restaurants and stores. It is a convenient hotel to stay in T1 Mexico city airport but it is a decent walk to get to hotel. Room was excellent, spacious and comfortable as it was the easy drip off key check out. It is a bit of a price premium for this one so not sure if worth it. An short uber ride gives you other hotel options nearby. But if looking for Bonvoy property, this is a good choice. Also very close distance to many good airport restaurants.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City. I frequently stay at the airport hotel before flying back to the U.S., but this time was different. I had been in Mexico City and was preparing to leave when my flight was unexpectedly delayed from 12:50 pm to 6 am the next day. In a last-minute scramble, I was fortunate enough to secure a room at the Courtyard by Marriott. As always, I felt at ease and comfortable during my stay. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming upon arrival. If you're reading this review and feeling hesitant, I encourage you to relax and enjoy your time there. The restaurant and service were exceptional. I happened to be there on a Saturday night, the same day as the Canelo and Munguía fight. Luckily, they were showing the fight, so I was able to enjoy it during my stay.

Lovely hotel in a mall area just at the edge of MEX airport Terminal 1. Quiet by day, it turns into a cacophony of noise during rush hour as traffic argues it's way out. Very comfortable beds. Well maintained rooms. Excellent hygiene protocols and security requiring keyboard access to the elevator area and again in the elevator to your floor. Lots of options for food in Terminal 1 and local eateries in neighborhood.

I stayed here for 1 night on business. The hotel is located across from Terminal 1 but finding it can be a hassle, especially if you are carrying luggage and speak limited Spanish. Within Terminal 1, find GATE 7 and take the escalator upstairs to LEVEL 1. From there, walk across the airbridge and you should find it. I didn't do my research beforehand, assuming there would be signs or I could ask staff, but there weren't any signs that I saw and some of the staff I had asked in Spanish didn't have a clue. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. They provided water and a beer upon check-in. WIFI was reliable. There's a hotel that had decent tacos and quesadillas and a full bar. The gym was nice and spacious, with dumbbells up to 50# and a pull up bar. Plenty of treadmills, and they provided large water bottles there. At one point, my room had a blackout as did I think the whole 3rd floor. But after 5 minutes, power was restored and there weren't any issues after that. TIP: Instead of buying water, just head into the gym and grab a few from there. TIP #2: The room does provide 2 large water bottles already though. I paid about $150 USD for 1 night, so not really cheap, but it is conveniently located and I had a good night's sleep.

I loved our AirBnB flat so much, I was almost sad to check in here because was very into the old architecture & vibe in the Centro Histórico section of Ciudad de Mexico. However once I was checked in, I appreciated the predictably crisp Courtyard rooms and the hotel's efficient staff. It is a typical Marriott property, same Courtyard brand amenities. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast as Yelpers mentioned. I love that you can walk to international checkin counters (6 minutes away on foot) as this hotel is at Terminal 1, MEX. If you are seeking something cheaper and a compact space is cool for you, there are capsule hotels (similar to ones you can get in Japan with lockers and free wifi) called Izzzsleep-- private beds/common showers (http://www.izzzleep.com/) at the airport for about $200 Mxn pesos. I will stay here again if I'm at MEX and need lodging the night before a flight. Tip: You get a free beer or margarita during checkin. Hotel offers car service into the city. If you're an Uber fan, easy access to Uber rides-- on the Terminal 1 MEX airport side, Puerta 7 (Door 7).

My wife and I stayed here when flying out of Mexico City. The place was clean and literally next to the airport. Our flight was at 6am and we just walked to our terminal from the hotel. The staff was attentive and very helpful. I'd definitely come back here when I go back to Mexico City.

It's a bit confusing to find but if you need to spend the night near Terminal 1, stay here and not the other big chain hotel (starts with "H"). This is so much better, nicer and friendlier. And less expensive to boot!

The rooms are ok, pretty standard, but the food is one of the worst I've ever had, so my review is for that. Has grilled chicken for lunch, which was dry. I had called earlier and asked for the vegetables that come with it to be steamed - they weren't. For dinner, I asked for the house burguer without onions and bacon, but it also came with cheese. When I called to ask for my cheese, they gave me 3 slices of cold provolone cheese to put it in my burguer. The fries were also soggy and cold. If you stay here, beat the laziness and take advantage of the airport food court 2 minutes away. Anything is better than this awful food.

Great location and attached to the hotel. It also has very friendly and amazing staff. The breakfast food in the morning is AMAZING and great prices

Hotel:This is the first time that I've been to a hotel where everywhere I went looked just as good as the promotion photos online. Everything looked great and was exceptionally clean. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone I encountered spoke English (as we as Spanish, of course). This was easily the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in, which is saying something since Mexico City is loud and the hotel is literally attached to the airport. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had consistent water pressure. The windows in the rooms overlook the center of the hotel, the sky garden lounge - the first level is a 'sky garden lounge' with plants, fountains, a few shops, a bar and a Starbucks. Restaurant: I went to the restaurant for dinner the night we checked in, dessert delivered via room service and back to the restaurant for breakfast in the morning. The beverages (along with their prices) are not listed on the menu in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend the tortilla soup and Mexican tacos- they were quite good, however I did not like the hamburger and chicken soup was very plain. I ordered chocolate cake with ice cream late a night - it was delivered within 20 minutes and it was delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet - it was $16 USD and had everything. There was: coffee, 4 kinds of fresh juice, milk, yogurt, a variety of fruits, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, bread, make your own chilaquilles, an omelet bar, pancakes, eggs, hash browns, granola, hot cereal, cold cereal and more.

I've been waiting 1 and a half hours outside and still no pick up. We are 4 people and I'm titanium and my mother platinum and no one knows what is going on and 90 minute wait. Horrible. It's now 1am. I would never recommend this hotel

Restaurant The centro buffet desayuno: Buffet con alimentos mal preparados, exceso de grasa en los platillos calientes y omelettes. La fruta sabe a refrigerador y esta marchita por haber sido cortada muchas horas antes, el melon, la piña y las naranjas aun sin madurar y las manzanas y peras de tan maduras viejas, faltan platanos. Mala calidad de los panes dulces y otros panes rancios. El precio del buffet excesivo para la mala calidad de alimentos presentados en el buffet. Los meseros sin actitud de servicio y solicitando propinas al presentar la cuenta. Pesima experiencia desayunar en ese restaurant

We stayed here last minute as our hotel in downtown DF wasn't a good fit. It's close to the airport w/a free shuttle provided which is great. For $200/night I expect more. The room was fine, however you could smell the exhaust and pollution all morning. For this caliber of hotel, insert air purifiers in the rooms and throughout the property. We stayed in Condesa, in a tiny boutique hotel and didn't even have this problem. Breakfast was included however it didn't start until 7am, for an airport based location, it would be great to begin at 5am or to offer grab and go options.

This was my first time staying at this property. We had a layover until the next day and a hotel attached to the airport was perfect. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. It was a short Uber ride from our AeroMexico/Delta terminal to the hotel. Also a close Uber ride to the center of town to see the Cathedral and other cool sights. I will stay here again.

The best courtyard in the Marriott chain. By far the most upscale amenities of any I've been to. Hospitality is on par with 5 star hotels. Restaurant and room service are quality across the board.

2.5 rating. Convenient location at MEX airport across terminal that is connected by a covered walkway across from terminal 1 with external access to ground transportation to take car into city. Hallways are not bright enough. Good service but had to request slippers. Nice sized room with walk-in shower. TV is too small and channels are limited to mainly local language. Nice restaurant onsite plus onsite Starbucks. Room view is of internal courtyard vs some rooms with views of the runway at the Hilton located inside terminal 1.

Good hotel if you're just passing through for the night. Beds are ok. More on the hard side than soft. The towels are really rough. Food at the restaurant is really good. The staff is pretty friendly and bilingual in English and Spanish.

Stopped by the Centro bar in the courtyard to have some drinks with colleagues for the evening while staying in the hotel. Irving was our server and he was hands down the best and friendliest service I have ever had anywhere in the world that I've traveled. We only had drinks tonight so I can't speak for the food, but the drinks were great on top of phenomenal Service. Highly recommend coming by the Centro and asking for Irving!!

I really enjoy this hotel. When you check in they give you a FREE beer, and that's always needed after a 2.5 hour drive from Toluca. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean, but a little small. They have a restaurant onsite, which they have a Mariachi Band play on Thursday nights at 7PM, near the restaurant. The food at the restaurant is always pretty good, but they don't change their menu very often.

It's a Courtyard, it's reliable. This is most certainly a crew hotel - so expect to see your flight crew here! We checked in very quickly and the bellman gave us a free beer! That was awesome after our long flight. We checked in to the room and it was clean and well appointed for a Courtyard. The BIG disappointment was the restaurant. I mean it was a horrible experience and we didn't even eat or drink. We came in to nobody at the host stand and then walked back further to find someone. The lady (manager?) was not happy that we came in and didn't wait, but how long can you stand at the front without seeing anyone working and not feel compelled to go in? Then we tried to order a mimosa or cocktail... NO ALCOHOL until later they said. It was 11am, I get it.... But come on - its an airport hotel. We then looked over the menu which was a mess and overpriced. After sitting and sitting and sitting it was time to leave without ordering. I really wonder how long it took for them to realize we were gone. We went and packed, checked out, and then ate at the airport. Great experience besides the restaurant.

Been loyal to Marriott for many years and have been in many of their brands in different parts of the world where they are available. For the Courtyard Marriott brands they have been ok experiences but I would like to say that this is the best Courtyard brand hotel and one of the top airport hotels I have stayed at. Even when I spent only one night at this hotel I can tell you that the hotel by itself is really quiet, modern, clean and well kept. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. The room service prices are high (not surprising specially for being at the airport) but there were plenty choices to have a snack, dinner and breakfast. If you have time or don't mind the walk, you can walk to the terminal and grab a snack at the food court, or have a bigger meal at many of the restaurants around it without having to leave the airport. If you are flying out of terminal 1 and you are making a long connection or very early flight, this is the place to be, just a 10 minute walk and you are at the check in counterers. If you are going to Terminal 2, there is a shuttle and the front desk can help you with that. The rooms were well appointed, quiet, clean and beautifully decorated. You have all you need for a short stay. I highly recommend it!

I always look coming to this hotel. It's right in the airport and so easy to walk too. The best thing though is the staff! Awesome!!! Tonight my server, Daniel Colunga served me at the restaurant. The food was great, his service was impeccable and I am happy and very satisfied. Great place to stay for any reason.

Fantastic on airport hotel! I stayed at this location for two nights to accommodate a connecting flight. I appreciated the level of service provided. The complimentary bottle of beer or water at check in was awesome! The shuttle driver was courteous and professional. Speaking of the shuttle, while this hotel is at T1 (short 5min walk to gates and shops), there is a complimentary shuttle to T2 that runs every 20 minutes (departing the hotel at the top of the hour). If at T2 on an arriving flight, the shuttle is summoned via a staffed office near the "Meeting Area" stadium steps in T2. The room itself is very comfortable with plush mattresses. My room overlooked a courtyard; there was absolutely no noise from the soundproof windows. The internet WiFi worked seamlessly covering the room, the restaurant, the lobby, and the common areas. The restaurant at the hotel had excellent service and high quality food. I tried the mixed fajitas and others in my part had sandwiches that were excellent. The French fries that came with it were fresh and hot. Breakfast has an excellent selection of fruits, meats, and vegetable at breakfast included my favorite Jugo Verde (green juice). Definitely an place to be and be comfortable.

You know you're at the right hotel when you see flight crews coming and going. I switched from the other airport hotel when I was suffocated by fumes and masked in darkness. The Marriott room was comfortable and quiet. It looked out on an interior courtyard but skylights gave it a sense of openness and light. The room service was quick and the food was average (packaged ketchup doesn't impress me) but the hotel employees were helpful and cordial. It was a little more than five minutes from international departures. Piece of cake. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

AMOEBAS !!! EL CENTRO RESTAURANT - food gave me the amoebas , very sick. do not eat here. No matter what the hotel writes in response to this , they are lying. They are self preservationist liars only interested in money and protecting their jobs. My family and I ate at this restaurant and I ordered the soup after asking if it was filtered water. we also had the tacos. The next morning I felt sick, and the day after that I had full on amoebas and had to go to the doctor and miss two days of work. To make matters worse, Marriott had the opportunity to make this right and the woman that ran the restaurant said in "her opinion" our food didnt make me have a stomach ache. Stomach ache? More like a disease that kills 55,000 people a year due to terrible sanitation in Mexico. Also, so all of a sudden they are medical experts and I am a liar with a bad immunity system ? I'll tell you when I was at the hotel I didn't realize it was run by medical experts and people with mystical intuition. They just seemed like good people who were stuck in a roach motel. this is beneath the service at Marriotts and what the brand stands for, and I know what made me sick. I wasnt sick BEFORE i ate at your terrible restaurant and i was sick afterwards. To make matters worse corporate Marriott backed the hotels terrible handling of this matter. All I asked for was a refund of my points or dinner and they offered 0.0. Nothing. Nada. Literally nothing. I am out on Marriott Take your business elsewhere.

Good hotel... clean, hip, nice and quiet. It's located in airport and you can walk to it in less than 10 minutes. When you come out of customs go to the left and the hotel is upstairs. Ordered room service from Centro. Vegetarian pizza and enchilada soup. My day is complete!

Terribly uncomfortable bed! The mattress is too soft & my body kept sinking lower & lower into it, to where I felt like I was going into a fetal position. No matter if I tried lying on my back or on my side, I just kept sinking lower & lower & lower into the mattress. It was so uncomfortable that I could not get any sleep whatsoever. I even tried changing to the sofa bed, which had no linens on it and it was hard as a rock. This hotel has so many wonderful things going on for it, that I don't understand why they wouldn't provide a decent mattress for a great night's sleep.

Just a walk from the airport, very safe. Modern lobby and friendly staff. Secure entry to rooms with key card before you get to the elevators. Large, modern atrium. Well appointed room with nice interior design; plants art and even knick knacks on the shelves. Modern wooden desk and small closet. Flat screen swivels for easy viewing. Fridge, coffee/tea- no microwave. Tile entry/carpeted room. Ample power sources and good internet. MP3 dock on the clock.

Very conveniently located - attached to the airport in fact. So no need to take a taxi, simply walk from your gate to the hotel. The hotel is newly renovated, spacious, clean rooms. Gracious staff. Perfect if you're in town for a short stay.

Great Marriott property located before security within the airport. Full service restaurant offering a lengthy menu or have it delivered to your room. This hotel does not have a lounge area for Marriotts elites. Walking distance you will find all the offerings of the airport so dining will never be an issue.

Wow!! Talk about going above and beyond!! Everyone here was so awesome! Lehi at the front desk was quick to get us our rooms after we lost our connecting flight home and were stranded in Mexico City for 2 nights! The restaurant staff, including Roman and the restaurant manager Hector Garcia made it a point to make sure that we had a delicious meal for breakfast and dinner! If you are ever in Mexico City please do yourself a favor and choose the Courtyard Marriot by the airport!! Christian (the chef) was exceptional and the enchiladas verdes were amazing!! He even provided us with the recipe for his delicious salsa...pretty much the best food and customer service combination we have had in a very long time!!

This is a very convenient hotel for a short stop in Mexico City. You don't even have to leave the airport. We stayed one night on our way to our final destination to Acapulco. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The manager of the hotel even came to see how we were doing at dinner. It was different to see the pace at which people seem to move here. Being from Chicago we were used to everyone being in such a rush. Here, things move slower. There is an adjustment period, but that will just make it seem even more like a vacation.

I absolutely love the place, location and staff. The only reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is their shuttle service. I was there for work and they coordinated my transportation to and from my job they were always late

Due to flight cancellations at Mexico City's airport, I picked this hotel right on the Spot. The stay was uneventful and the hotel is new and quiet. No noise at all, what is pretty awesome considering that it's located right on the airport. This hotel is like an Oasis in the middle of one of the largest cities in the World. I had to order some extra pillows and they came fast. The customer associates at the front desk were very accommodating and kind. No wonder why they were up for a group picture just for me and why they have so many accolades. Great Job Nancy and team.

I have stayed here a few times and what I love is the amazing service here. I've come to expect the rooms to always be clean and comfortable, it's the service that makes you feel comfortable in a foreign country. Concierge will go above and beyond to make sure you are safe and get out and see the sights

This staff was incredible!! They were incredibly friendly.. Really professional.. The rooms were clean, food at the hotel restaurant was excellent and Ricardo our server was very helpful, friendly and generous.. I will definitely recommend coming here!

Got in late front desk was great. Room was clean quite and comfy. Woke to Starbucks and a great breakfast. Sergio helped get us checked into airline and free airport shuttle

We made this reservation thru Expedia and DOUBLE-CHECKED that breakfast for everyone was included (2 kids, 2 adults). In the morning they said only 1 adult gets breakfast but they'll throw in the kids for free (). I spoke to management at the front desk and they refused to help. I asked if they would be willing to throw in breakfast for me, just a single breakfast sandwich and they still refused. WE ALREADY PAID FOR MY BREAKFAST ONLINE. A joke. Shouldn't be carrying the Marriott name.

Stayed here many times. Very disappointed. Everyone smiles and nods and nothing gets done. Restaurant is good. Manager ... could care less... smiles and nod... his entire staff smile and nod. Nice place if u need no assistance with anything

Our Southwest Airlines crew received a warm welcome from concierge Monica advising us of Happy Hour. Monica's warm welcome was so appreciated after an 8.5 hour day. Our crew received a further welcome from bartender Jorge. I just wanted to say thanks so much for the great hospitality

Agree with prior reports. Very convenient to airport, can just walk over. Comfy beds, nice atmosphere, restaurant good. Had to stay overnight as Alaska cancelled flight and rescheduled next day, very early. Nice to see the national museum anthropology, took taxi from hotel to museum and asked at nearby hotel to get us a taxi as advised, no problems. Everyone very helpful and professional.
