We stayed here while my mom had surgery at Mount Sinai as it was the closest Bonvoy hotel to the hospital. The housekeeping staff was so lovely, Prende was always accommodating with towels, convenient timing to clean, and was attentive to all our needs. The other cleaner on the floor said she was praying for my mom- which was so sweet. The front desk staff was always helpful as well. For a one and a 1/2 week stay for this purpose the hotel was fine, and the hotel is conveniently located in a nice upper east side residential area - with tons of restaurants, coffee, etc close by.

In a good location, quiet. Stayed one night and checked in late due to flight issues. Quickest check in experience I’ve had. Nice common areas. Room was very clean, visibly, but had a stench of trash when I first walked in. Ample towels. Empty shower gel. No other skin products besides bar soap. Air conditioning was reasonable but could not cool below 73 degrees and needed to operate all night to maintain that temperature. Bed and pillows very comfortable and rested well. Thank you.

I'm not sure why this Courtyard has so many negative reviews. I stayed here while a family member received care at a local hospital. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was courteous, the housekeeping attentive. The only thing missing would be a continental breakfast. There is a modern fitness center available and self-serve laundry. There is no on-site restaurant but within a block or two, one can easily access convenience stores and eateries. I did not use the valet parking. It's comparable in price to similar hotels in the area. I would stay here again.

Our mattress was too soft. I think they need to replace it 🤔 Need to clean the windows. When we looked out, it definitely was not clear to appreciate the view. They should offer a continental breakfast for the price you pay to stay. We had a family member in the MSKH and it would have been convenient if we were able to eat something before leaving for the hospital. If your not familiar with the city it's hard to navigate around the hotel especially when you have a time schedule to keep. Need to update air conditioning system. Sometimes too warm or too cold in the room. Overall it was alright.

UPDATE AT BOTTOM: Third time staying here, visiting nearby family in the city, and we remain extremely disappointed. Water leaking through the ceiling the first stay, no TV for the duration of a 5 day stay, some wonderful and some extremely rude staff, and on two different stays now, we’ve had the Do Not Disturb sign up and have been walked in on. Imagine having the do not disturb signs on the door, being fresh out of the shower, and having someone walk right into the room. And now for the second time, sign up, door opened on us while my toddler was having a nap, having the same guy walk right in and try to tell me that he wants to change our phone. I had to tell him several times to leave. Same guy both times- a heavyset while guy, probably late 40’s, looking miserable. No respect or privacy. No problem walking in on a naked woman or ruining a sleeping toddlers nap, and breaking their own damn rules, and a law. I’m going to be speaking with a lawyer, as after complaints, I haven’t even received an apology. UPDATE: I see the response - I was still at the hotel for 2 days after this incident, and no one made any attempt to talk with us about it. I had to make numerous requests to speak to someone, and a manager finally addressed my concerns and took the time to speak with me, as we were checking out. Hopefully this person receives some reprimand and additional training as to what is appropriate and what is absolutely unacceptable behavior, not to mention breaking laws. I don’t want anyone to lose their job but he shouldn’t have the power to do this to anyone else again in the future.

Imagine this, it's 1AM, you just got off a flight that was delayed 3 hours for takeoff and 2 to land. You're greeted by a gentleman who handled your reservation, found you places to eat, told you all the great spots for your stay, and provided you with all that the Marriott can offer you. Your mind, which was previously full of anxiety and confusion is suddenly clear and calm, like a lake on a nice day. Willie is very professional, quick and thorough in offering solutions, is very methodical in his processes, and was overall very pleasurable to connect with as the first face that greets you representing The Marriott. When I come back to New York to stay again, I'll be staying here at the Marriott because I know I'll receive the best information and service from Willie Howard.

The looby is nice and check in was seem less, the hallways had unpleasant musty smell, the room is small and the furniture is old. The floorcaroet was full of stains at least the part we can see. The bathroom was not clean. And towels had yellowish discoloration. |My wife was hesitatnte to shower, and it took a lot to get her to do it. ||We didn't plan this trip to new York |Our connecting flight to Dallas cancelled and I booked this hotel from the airport, as I use the app and I have used a d marriot and its hotels always and never an issue. This would be the first unpleasant experience and I'm surprised marroit are not doing due delegance to ensure their properties or at least facilities that carry their name are up to bar and the standard is the same

After a crazy time with delayed flights and a late night arrival, Willie Howard on the night staff was most welcoming. He was very professional and gave many recommendations for great places to eat that were nearby. He definitely made us feel welcome with his positive and helpful attitude. At the end of the day a clean hotel room and bed ain't a hard thing to provide, but great customer service such as that from Willie is what makes a great experience and stay. We really appreciate him.
