Good location in the Medical District and still close to downtown Chicago. The area is quieter than the Loop, which I appreciated. My room was comfortable and had a good desk setup for getting work done.
Staff were great to deal with. They take care of valet parking on-site, and the hotel runs a shuttle within about 1.5 miles, which made it easy to reach the nearby hospitals and the university. There are also meeting rooms for groups of around 25 to 80 people, so it works well for business trips or small events.The fitness room has the basics you need,
The breakfast at the Bistro is a highlight — the flatbread, the quesadilla and the frittata (my favourite) are always fresh and very good. You can feel how much care Santos and Minerva put into improving your experience. Keep up the goo job!
Solid option if you’re staying in the Medical District or traveling for work. We have been twice already for business, and we will keep doing it.
