Courtyard by Marriott Hannover Maschsee

Amazing view over the Maschsee, clean rooms. Love that you can open the windows to get fresh air. It took forever to check in - we arrived on a Thursday after 21.30 and we had to wait for 30 Minutes. You can buy tea for 1€ in the lobby

I have been to Hannover a few times, stayed in different hotels, this is definitely my favourite one! 🤩If you are looking for a hotel in Hannover to give you a better impression of the city, then this is the right place for the accommodation! The location was nice, we had the lake view room. The breakfast was delicious, the service was efficient, the parking is convenient. We walked to the old town area which was about 20 minutes. All very nice!

Aah yes, a lovely hotel. Rooms are super comfortable, clean & fresh. Very relaxing. The lake front restaurant deck is a lovely space to enjoy a meal or drinks watching people go past & boats on the lake. Would recommend for a weekend escape or city break.

Great Hotel at the lake. When I asked for a spontaneous room booking, I was turned away by reception on the grounds that there were no more rooms available. After making my own online booking, I checked in two minutes later. Unacceptable.

The hotel was nice and I was assigned a nice room with a green view from the room. I had a good workout in the fitness center and the sauna. However, the hotel’s computer systems were not working during check-in and checkout. I had to present my credit card twice. The internet TV option was not working. The service was very good.

I have stayed in Marriott hotels many times, but I have never been so disappointed in the hotel staff, especially the reception. I have experienced so much disrespect towards a guest only in this hotel. I will certainly never stay in this hotel again and I do not recommend it to anyone. Restaurant is like a pub, nobody want to help you with a luggage, when you enter in hotel nobody wish you good day,.... as i said, location is perfect, rest 0 points...

Service - 4* Cleanliness - 5 Rooms (updated :-) - 5 Value - 5 The staff is extremely friendly and the views of the lake are incredible. This is a great hotel if you need to get work done or go to the festival or soccer. * we had a hard time checking in and the company who booked the rooms is called Artist Travel Service - and they hotel checked us as - guess what - Artist as the first name - and Travel as a surname. Took 30 mins to check in - something one does not need after a five-hour drive. Get your stuff together and it will be five stars next time.

Booked it last minute, based on the good reviews and low rate. I would highly recommend this place. The breakfast is excellent. The breakfast room overlooks a (man made) lake... very relaxing. The room was good too.
