We stopped in here to have a drink and dinner at The Kitchen and Bar which is the restaurant/bar in the lobby of the hotel as we were hoping to rub shoulders with some of the Jamaican Soccer Team, who was staying here last November. Atmosphere was a bit dull which is not unexpected at a hotel lobby bar, but the burger that I ordered was quite good. It's a good place to grab a meal if you are staying at the Courtyard and aren't interested in venturing out.

The Courtyard Marriott is well situated, across the street from emancipation park. The hotel seems to have been updated and is in good condition. The pool is small but quite nice. While there we used the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and had excellent service especially from Georgia. Overall great place to stay if you are looking to be in downtown Kingston.

The hotel is modern and clean and the rooms are very large. The breakfast buffet is nice, although it is not replenished often, especially the fruit bar. The 2nd floor pool and bar is a very nice place to relax after a long day. The reception desk was extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Horrible vacation stay. My check-in was delayed because my reservation was mistakenly deleted by the hotel reservation department, 1000 was mistakingly from my account by reservation with no expedite release until the last day of my stay, O let me not forget about my booking including breakfast which got canceled when they deleted my reservation and the hotel would not honor the promo after my reservation was mysteriously deleted and then retrieved. Very disappointed

My rating is in regard to the day-pass. The service is always slow the couple times ive been here. In the past, a day gave u $50 in credit to redeem in food and drinks—and u would just order from the regular menu. Now, they have a special menu for the day pass—kind of limited and boring. On too of that, they didnt have a couple things on said menu. Again, the service slow. Waited forever for the food and when it came out it was cold.

Had an amazing stay here!! We came in for carnival. Perfect location to all the festivities. Alicia was extremely helpful at the front desk. She was very patient and accommodating. I really want to bring her back to the states to work at my hotel!! Her customer service is top tier. Demar and Marlon y’all put the icing on the cake for our experience. They both were amazing!!! They gave us a true Kingston experience. Will definitely return soon

Perfect Stay in Kingston — A True Gem Across from Emancipation Park The Courtyard is the perfect location for visiting Kingston! It’s in a safe, vibrant area directly across from Emancipation Park, where many locals gather to exercise, jog, or simply enjoy the greenery. I personally loved starting my mornings with a peaceful 2-mile run around the park. The hotel is within walking distance of some of Jamaica’s favorite food spots — KFC, Juici Beef, and Tastee — making meals super convenient. That said, the hotel’s restaurant is also excellent. The buffet breakfast is full of authentic Jamaican options, so you can enjoy a true island breakfast without ever leaving the hotel. I highly recommend choosing the breakfast package — it’s well worth it. Their lunch and dinner offerings are also flavorful and satisfying. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and tranquil. I saw many contractors, business travelers, and even athletes during my stay, which speaks to the hotel’s reputation. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, are genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. The gym is well-equipped with exercise bikes, a treadmill, cable machines, and free weights — a great option if you want to stay on track with your workouts. Our suite was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. It included a small fridge, microwave, and a large dining table, which made it easy to relax as a family. My wife and I even had some privacy while still sleeping comfortably as a family of five. Most importantly, the hotel proved to be trustworthy. I accidentally left a very valuable item in the room after checking out. When I called, the front desk staff acted quickly, sending security to secure it until I could retrieve it. Their honesty and care gave me complete peace of mind. When I return to Kingston, I won’t consider staying anywhere else — only the Courtyard.
