Courtyard by Marriott Kingston, Jamaica

Sooooo ask for Vanessa at the front she is so soft spoken and attentive. THE STAR OF THE HOTEL IS RAVON aka RAY RAY - he makes the best run punch known to man. BE AWARE THEY WILL SNEAK UP ON YOU. Go straight to the bar and ask for Ray Ray he will not disappoint!!

Great location beside emancipation park, located in the heart of New Kingston, which is the center of commerce so its is in easy walking distance for most things you would want in Kingston. Staff is professional & courteous, rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant food is good & staff is friendly and engaging. we had other family from across the world also staying here so it made for an even more exciting stay walking down the hallway to another family members room, “being place on The same floor with 2 other family members was just random coincidence and not planned.” I would definitely recommend this place and they also had a complimentary coffee station on our floor by the elevator, I will assume this was on every other floor. Coffee was pretty decent.

We stopped in here to have a drink and dinner at The Kitchen and Bar which is the restaurant/bar in the lobby of the hotel as we were hoping to rub shoulders with some of the Jamaican Soccer Team, who was staying here last November. Atmosphere was a bit dull which is not unexpected at a hotel lobby bar, but the burger that I ordered was quite good. It's a good place to grab a meal if you are staying at the Courtyard and aren't interested in venturing out.

The hotel is modern and clean and the rooms are very large. The breakfast buffet is nice, although it is not replenished often, especially the fruit bar. The 2nd floor pool and bar is a very nice place to relax after a long day. The reception desk was extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Horrible vacation stay. My check-in was delayed because my reservation was mistakenly deleted by the hotel reservation department, 1000 was mistakingly from my account by reservation with no expedite release until the last day of my stay, O let me not forget about my booking including breakfast which got canceled when they deleted my reservation and the hotel would not honor the promo after my reservation was mysteriously deleted and then retrieved. Very disappointed

Still has jamaican vibe but it's operated like American hotels. Very comfy and safe

The Courtyard Marriott is well situated, across the street from emancipation park. The hotel seems to have been updated and is in good condition. The pool is small but quite nice. While there we used the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner and had excellent service especially from Georgia. Overall great place to stay if you are looking to be in downtown Kingston.
