Courtyard by Marriott Maui Kahului Airport

Perfect final stop of our trip prior to heading to the airport. Service was great. We appreciated Jen offering us a late check out after learning our snorkel tour had been canceled and pushed to the morning of our flight home - leaving little time for lagging. The pool area was really cute, too! Lots of space - unexpected for such a central location. ||The hotel is located right near a lot of food trucks and some great local food. Paia is a short drive away and we spent quite a bit of time there after discovering some great beaches and restaurants!||I was impressed to see they had a concierge! Nice offering you generally don't see - I could see this being a huge perk for folks traveling on a budget but wanting amenities of larger resort hotels.||4 stars vs. 5 only because the rooms and building are feeling a little tired. Only two towels in the room, and felt a bit musty - but very clean.

The hotel itself is fine. Probably nicer than most courtyards, but nothing special. As gold members we got a late checkout, but we requested a room on a high floor and they put us on the second. The main issue is the location is not great for anything other than proximity to the airport. Definitely wouldn't recommend for more than a one night stay.

We stayed here 4 nights and this was a great base for all we had planned on the island. Made call once we had luggage for shuttle pickup and he was there quickly ( wait outside just across on island area near taxis between 2 and 3 signs). Thank you for turning in my jacket that I left in the shuttle! Was so glad I hadn't lost it!! STAFF! This hotel has amazing staff. So helpful with everything we needed and acknowledged us every time leaving and coming back. Hotel property was kept so clean and pool towels stocked and outside area inviting. Our room was on 2nd floor facing pool. Very nice size with couch. Great size bathroom and nice amenities. My only complaint is the pillows! Seemed old and flat and this seems to be at all hotels we visit. I'm a side sleeper so really like a firm pillow. Requested 2 additional pillows from housekeeping and were the same flat ones. We really enjoyed the outdoor area. Our typical evening was coming back from a long day to a drink by the fire to wind down. Then a hot tub soak and a relaxing on the outdoor cabana type beds (there are 3) as the sun went down. This area was never busy at this time and we had to ourselves. They also had a large lawn area with places to lounge and eat outside. We did not eat or drink at hotel but noticed many did. Lobby was always busy with guests. We did however enjoy several food trucks outside. There are 2 separate areas of food trucks (right in front of hotel and we discovered a second group behind hotel just down street a bit across from Costco gas). Tried several and all great. Coffee one close to hotel was fantastic! This hotel was also great on our start of Road to Hana. We left at 6am and it was perfect with no one really on road with us and locals headed in opposite direction. Made it to black sand beach by 8:30 then down to Pipiwai Trail and headed back making many other stops. This avoided so much traffic and was really the way to do it! We can't wait to come back and would stay here again!

We stayed here on night before heading to our timeshare on West Maui. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean and spacious and the downstairs restaurant/bar was great! The bartender was super nice. We even bumped into the manager and hats off to seeing a manager helping out his staff and greeting guests. We’d definitely stay here again. Bonus points for being right across from Costco and a quick drive into Paia!

The rooms have real, whole bathrooms all in one room! Aside from that, the staff is friendly and helpful. There's a big fire pit with comfortable chairs around it outside the rear door. The food served here is actually really good. The grilled cheese got rave reviews. The Hot Honey Garlic Fried Chicken Sandwich was absolutely delicious. The fries were really good too. I slept so well here in the very comfortable bed. Oh, there is an army of food trucks nearby so make sure to take advantage of that. There's also a Costco close by in case you need something the hotel doesn't sell in their shop area.

Always a pleasure to stay at the Marriott Courtyard, especially after a long drive from Hana or a late or early flight out of Kahului. The shuttle service is super-efficient and pleasant. Haley and others at the front desk are always welcoming. I've discovered the best margarita in Maui. Last week, it was made by Denise. She explained they only use fresh squeezed lime juice and, of course, quality tequila. I have an early flight Monday. I'll see you Sunday night.|The rooms are quiet and comfy.

I stayed one night while in the area for work. It was a standard Courtyard for the most part. Everyone was very friendly. The gym was outstanding. The pool area was nice. They also had several sitting areas around the hotel, including a small pavilion. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I appreciated that the fan ran all night to keep the room from getting too warm as the thermostat only goes down to 68. Also, there must be 8-10 food trucks in the parking lot, so plenty of food options. Great option in Maui.

My husband and I stayed here as our “home base” for our anniversary motorcycle trip. Everyone was extremely kind and had so much aloha! The hotel is conveniently located close to Kahului airport with free shuttle service and sandwiched between 2 food truck parks and also right across the street from Costco. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Lauren at the front desk! She was so kind and accommodating. She didn’t know we were celebrating our anniversary but her kindness & hospitality really made our trip! We would definitely stay here again.
