Courtyard by Marriott Maui Kahului Airport

Stayed one night at this location, before checking into our condo. While we stay at a lot of Marriotts, I typically avoid the Courtyards when staying with family. I was not expecting much, since it an airport location but I was very pleasantly surprised. The manager greeted us upon our arrival, made us feel welcome. The pool was nice, but we really enjoyed the fire pit in the evening, and the hot tub. Gym seemed good too, and we took advantage of the onsite laundry machines.||Concierge was pleasant, and knowledgeable. |Convenient location because there are food trucks basically in the parking lot, and more food trucks a 2 or 3 minute walk away. Costco across the street. Loved the food trucks because we had not picked up our rental yet.||Room surprisingly big with exceptionally large living area with pull out sofa and was surprised with a full kitchen (maybe this was a residence in at some point?). Not sure every room has the kitchen but ours did. ||My daughter liked our one night stay at the Courtyard better than our condo stay. Would definately stay here again if I was renting a car. Maybe not be that convenient if you don’t have a rental car.||Only negative- person that picked us up from airport was not friendly and threw our suitcases in the van, then upon unloading actually dropped the briefcase carrying the laptop. Luckily no damage. But otherwise very pleasant albeit short stay.

We only stayed one night, right after arriving in Maui, since our condo wasn’t available right away for check in. I was expecting the average airport hotel. Pleasantly surprised. Really liked the fire pit at night, enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Pool not resort fancy but nice for an evening swim. I was surprised at the exercise room, much better than expected. Laundry room a plus too. Grounds nice. The suite had a full kitchen, and plenty of space in the living area with a pull out sofa. My daughter had her own private space in the living room. Really liked the two food truck areas, one steps away from the hotel, another a very short walk away. Especially convenient if you are without a rental car. Costco across the street. Free airport shuttle. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable and personable concierge. My daughter actually liked this hotel better than the condo we stayed at!!

Excellent location for a quick stay before flying out of Maui. It is right next to the airport and car rental offices, across from Costco and adjacent to a number of food trucks. Outside pool looked good and seemed busy up until night closure. They do have washer and dryer available for guests, which came in handy to wash off our clothes after doing the Pipiwai trail the day before. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, and front staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for a quick stay; can't go wrong.

I've stayed here a handful of times over the last few years for work. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport and across the street from Costco (walkable). There is also a food truck area with awesome food, adjacent to the hotel parking.

Conveniently located near Kahului airport and Kahului town when on Maui for business. The rooms are modern and comfortable without the normal high cost of the traditional Maui hotels near the beach. For leisure travelers, if you don’t mind a short drive, the beaches are accessible in a few minutes (depending which you want to go to). Great central point to visit Hana and up country Maui as well. The airport shuttle is super convenient and the pool, fitness center and breakfast really make this hotel shine. The Bonvoy points are an added plus.

Perfect option for a late flight in. The free shuttle was efficient and the posted instructions made it easy to contact the hotel. |There was a cute fire pit and pool area, but we chose to move on to our resort in the morning. The location next to a food truck park, Costco and many other businesses makes preparing for a longer condo stay easy the next morning.

This was a very convenient hotel in terms of proximity to the airport and many food truck options. The rooms were decent and provided all the necessities for our overnight stay. The hotel itself has a cafe for light food, drinks and coffee, a restaurant, pool as well as a little market for snacks. Overall, it was clean, the staff was friendly and it provided a safe overnight stay. There’s also plenty of parking if you rent a car. Additionally, there are two separate areas with tons of food trucks in walking distance. They had all different kinds of food, from local cuisine, Thai, Italian/pizza, a vegan option, to Mexican and many more. This was definitely a bonus as there’s literally something for everyone! Overall, we had a good stay! Not a bad option if it’s a short term stay.

I'm not a fan of resorts. When I travel, I prefer to stay in a regular hotel and enjoy the restaurants, entertainment, and beaches favored by locals. ||This Courtyard not only serves as a convenient location for all of that, it's also a fantastic property in its own right.||Staff: To a person, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. While many hotels have eliminated concierge desks after COVID, this Courtyard still provides those services. Excellent for recommendations and reservations.||Facilities: A modest pool area with chairs for sunning. Even better is a sizable lawn area next to the pool equipped with chaise lounges. I camped out there for hours, getting my tan on.||Room: Like the rest of the property, very well maintained and clean. The room features a glass shower stall that boasts good water flow. Excellent lighting for makeup and shaving.||Location: If you really get stuck in traffic, it may take five minutes to get there. No joke. But I never noticed any aircraft noise. The hotel also operates an airport shuttle, but I did not use it and don't know the particulars. Kaulahao Beach, about 10-15 minutes away, is a good choice. It's big, good-sized parking lot. The beach is popular with colorful kitesurfers, who are fun to watch as you soak up the sun.
