Our room was huge, super clean, with a comfy big bed. It's literally a perfect location right off the boardwalk. Pool a bit on the smaller side, but with the beach right there, we weren't disappointed. The Captains table restaurant was great for breakfast and the waiting staff were friendly. Would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard Ocean City Oceanfront! We spent three nights in the hotel. We were extremely pleased with how CLEAN the hotel was from the lobby and lobby bathrooms to the guest rooms. Definitely one of the cleanest hotel experiences we have had (and I have high standards for hotel cleanliness). We were particularly pleased with with how well controlled the humidity and air quality were in the rooms. There is also a heated pool in the hotel which was appreciated during the rainy day. The location of the hotel was perfect, conveniently located on the boardwalk and a very short walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and the restarant in the hotel was delicious. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we visit Ocean City. Kudos to this hotel for their presentation and service.

We really enjoyed our time here at this property! Very clean, wonderful amenities, and even without an oceanfront room, we still had a balcony and could see the ocean with partial view. It was located close to everything we wanted to do during our stay, and the staff were all phenomenal! Would stay here again!

We had a great stay at the Courtyard with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter. The whole hotel was under renovation, but it didn’t affect our experience. The rooms were clean, fresh, and comfortable. The front desk staff was welcoming. A big thank you to the restaurant team, especially Jimmy, Jodi, and Kim from the Captain’s Table: They went out of their way to make sure my little one was happy. We only visited once for a snack in the evening, but they were so kind and made us feel special. Definitely a place we’ll consider again!

For the price I expect much better. First night, AC was not working in the hotel. Rather than be transparent about the issue, front desk pretended like nothing was going on. Thankfully the maintenance man was more transparent and brought us a fan. It got cooler in the rooms but the hallways are still unbearable. Never saw an actual repair company. Additionally, overflow parking was full due to oversized vehicles and those from other hotels. Front desk staff couldn’t care less and said “well maybe you can find a spot tomorrow”. The remodel is the only upside to this hotel. But when doing a multi million dollar remodel, I’d think you’d replace the old, dingy outlet and light switch plates. I mean those things are a dollar or less.

I have been using the Marriott for years! I have spent so much money with this hotel chain. I also have been a customer at this very hotel! You spend thousands of dollars for only a couple nights. Just to be told that you aren’t a certain member and can’t get later checkout. Even though it was available

Google
Location is good, rooms were clean besides the stained towels, staff were not welcoming and frankly pretty rude. I’m pro Marriott and I’m pretty appalled the front desk did not explain anything during our check in. I had to ask a bunch of questions like about parking, luggage, elevators, etc. And they just handed me a paper for amenities. Pool and splash pad were good but not the cleanest.

Party of 5 went for dinner 7 pm reservation 4 ordered crab soup. My elderly aunt had a huge blonde hair in her soup. They took the soup off the bill. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. My steak was over cooked, another guest seafood was pink inside. No one actually finished our room temperature food. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Great Location on the boardwalk overall. So my family of four (mom/dad/twelve and seven) stay here during our annual OCMD trip. It started with needing a hotel that could accommodate my husbands need for workspace, and our over travel preferences. After trying some other local options we knew we needed a more brand experience with certain in room amenities. Location wise we were able to walk to the pier for action, hop to the beach, and grab food by foot with ease. We usually find parking in the hotel bottom level but rest assured worst case scenario their parking overflow is super close. The front desk ladies at checkin were awesome, so nice to my boys and showed them where the available snacks were. We have dined at the restaurant on site also which for breakfast was awesome and very convenient. Housekeeping took care of our rooms daily even though our schedules were unpredictable. Pro Tip splurge on the oceanfront balcony room. Views and nighttime boardwalk scenes are worth it.

Yelp
In 2012 I booked 3 rooms for our family and stayed at this property, which was considered still fairly new. It was a decent stay but nothing unremarkable. Since then we have re-visited OC several years staying mostly at the Holiday Inn Suites where we dedicated a bench to my parents. 10 years later and on our 46th Anniversary, as a Titanium member we wanted to give it another try and I am so happy and pleased that this property had been totally renovated with GM Jill Douglas and a staff that are super friendly, young, energetic and provided great service with spacious rooms with a nice sized balconies, close to Starbucks and plenty of parking. A total and welcome change from 10 years ago!! On check-in, we were greeted by Maria on a Sunday and although we were early, Maria found an awesome room for us for the week we were there. She and her fellow front desk staff are more than just check-in and out. They take care of any questions, ensure you get what you need in the rooms and coordinate with the other departments. My appreciation for Maria, Danielle, Teri and their other colleagues. BTW fellow guests, although they don't seek or expect any gratuity, please remember they are very hardworking and extremely helpful so I hope you will remember to thank them with gratuities as we did them all during our stay. Housekeeping was awesome. Every other day service but if you need extra towels or anything else they are quick to show up..again please remember to take care of the folks who work hard to keep your rooms fresh and clean. There is a small fridge and microwave in each room which was quite handy. Along with the pool, hot tub, there is a small but has what you need gym and a very handy laundry room. The front desk will provide quarters but will provide complementary soap, a nice touch. The Captain's Table is a nice restaurant and their early bird specials are awesome. We went there for a few days and service was awesome. The Property is right on the boardwalk so easy access to all the sights and sounds and as I mentioned access to Starbucks and Dunkin a few blocks away. Parking is decent just be careful since everyone seems to be driving a SUV. Overflow is more than adequate and right across the street. We had a wonderful stay thanks to GM Douglas and her staff and we hope to re-visit next year should space be available. A definite strong recommendation.

Yelp
I'm a born joy gold member and they only offered 1 extra hour for late checkout. I find that a bit strange since there's not a busy season. FYI if you're curious about late checkout. Enjoy

Yelp
Clean room, beach front but you still have to walk on the boardwalk to get to the beach. Parking spots are tight, if you have a large SUV, you may have to goto the alternative parking which is next to hotel which has wider spots. There is free coffee available from 6am to 9am and from 4pm to 9pm, i had coffee both times and the coffee was hot and very good. The indoor swimming pool, is small, kids were in the pool, way too loud and out of control, so skipped it all together. Got a clean room on 2nd floor, the hotel seemed kind of empty which is good. Not a lot to do on the boardwalk since the majority of restaurants and shops open up 4/8. Was a good quick get away, we were able to visit the town of Berkin, about 15 mins away from hotel. We found good lunch and or sinner options such as the sterling tavern. Would I come back to OC Maryland, probably not. Now back to my hotel, a courtyard is good enough for me, clean bed and a pretty nice room. I like that we had a microwave and a small refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed the tables in the lobby where you can watch TV while having coffee, we went to the point of going out to Laytons for donuts during the early morning of 4/4, after we watched the sunrise at the beach

Yelp
Very well presented, colorful beach/ocean theme, unusual main floor layout which works very well for both business and tourists. Main desk, heated pool, indoor and outdoor lounge chairs, business area, gym, and Marriott sales and back-office are all on the third floor. First floor is parking, with small entrance with stairs and elevator to third floor. Rooms are on the second, fourth and fifth floors and require room keys scanned with separate sets of elevators. The location, Fifteenth Street, was perfect for us. We wanted to be near but not in the noisy, busy area from about Fifth Street to the inlet. This Marriott Courtyard was a new, high standard hotel near but not in the action. Our room, second floor, was spacious and well appointed, oceanfront, with a nice balcony - I think all rooms have a balcony whether oceanfront or not. Ocean breeze, beachfront, boardwalk, sunrise wow! Parking first floor is under the hotel; regular vehicles can fit, but monster SUVs and large pickup trucks will not and need to park across the street in a Marriott lot with ample parking. One strange design flaw. Our room, #227, the shower curtain was two feet shorter than the shower tub. The result every day was water all over the hard tile floor, creating a dangerous and wet situation when using the sink, toilet or shower.

Yelp
STAY HERE!!!!! Where do I start...... started out with no real expectations of the hotel. That changed with the quickness. The location is right on point. Right on the beach and in the right spot. Not located with all the craziness, but close enough to touch it if you want it. Rooms and common areas are very clean and they have plenty of parking. Now on the Great part. KerryAnne!!!!!!!!! (I hope I spelled her name correct) is the best hostess I think I ever had. She made us really feel like we were VIPs. Besides remembering our names, she checked on us throughout the day. She even came down to the deck to make sure we were good. Dana was also amazing. It is rare that you get this kind of service from both desk employees. Those 2 alone made it worth the stay. I cannot wait to come back and if I am lucky, those 2 will be on duty.

Yelp
We visited the area on Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful experience with our stay! The courtyard customer service is very friendly. Upon arrival, we were early and they allowed us to check in since the room is ready and yes, we can park there so no need to seek parking before we hit the beach. The receptionist provided us David's cookies upon checking in which I thought is really cute. Our room is located on the fourth floor and we took the elevator most of the time and I will say that everything is nice, clean and very modern/sleek decor. I know it's a fairly new hotel so I hope they maintain it properly. The lounge, lobby, restaurant, gym and pool is on the 3rd floor. The indoor heated pool is great. It's all glass and can be enclosed during cooler weather. The glass door can be slide open for warmer weather days. There's tables, seats and lounge beds outside of the pool. They also have umbrellas next to the lounge area which is pretty cool for those who wants to lay outside. The located is exceptional. We had a great beach view and the balcony steps from the bedroom is just awesome. The walk from our room to the beach and water is so close and convenient. We will definitely come back here again!

Yelp
I have stayed here I believe 2 times before. I usually stay at a Marriott when I am in Atlantic City or Ocean City beaches. The Courtyard is nice. It is right on the beach. The rooms in the rear of the hotel have full beach view. This Courtyard by far has one of the nicest gyms and indoor pool I have seen. This location, because it is on the beach in OC is expensive. The restaurant at this location is the Captain's Table. It is a top notch restaurant with awesome service. If you visit here, ask for Pam. She will take care of you. The rooms are a nice size and the cleaning staff does an excellent job of maintaining the hotel and cleaning the rooms. Everyone here is really friendly. You cant go wrong stay here. Will visit again.

Clarissa P.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a prime location. Enjoyed clean, spacious oceanfront room. The highlight of the trip was the hotel restaurant, Captain's Table. The food was delicious, flavorful with wonderful portions. We were fortunate to have the same server, Dee. Dee was attentive, informative about the Ocean City area and professional. Deal made our meal experience an exceptional one. As a Marriott Ambassador and Lifetime Titanium, Marriott should have more team members like Dee. We'll definitely be visiting next year!

Yelp
4 1/2 Stars. Located directly in front of the ocean boardwalk, this Courtyard is a category 9 and shares private residential units in the same building. Hotel guest receive complimentary covered parking and I checked in by the friendly manager before noon. He suggested several restaurants to dine - which was helpful. My large renovated modern room was on a upper floor, corner unit and included two connecting patios - each having spectacular ocean views. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center and one upper end restaurant - The Captain's Table, This hotel would be a great place during the summer - rates vary from the $120.00 to over $500.00 per night for peak days with ocean views.

Yelp
We had a decent/okay stay here. Besides my view observing the construction going on at the neighboring hotel under construction, had to keep my blinds drawn shut most of the time. The room was a decent size. I would recommend the exhaust fans in the bathroom as that would eliminate some of the moisture in the room. Kept seeing gnats- so that was a bit annoying. And lastly, for the price of this Hotel, I was really disappointed with the size of the Pool. The cheap hotel on the other side, had an Olympic size pool lol. Oh.. the hotel needs bigger comforters to really cover the duvet cover..I kept waking up, and touching that thing.

Yelp
I've been to Ocean City many, many times. I've always stayed in a "motel". It's been a long time since I had been there, but I wanted to take my husband because he had never been. Wow, has it grown up over the years. And, I had booked this hotel because it sounded nicer than the motels. What a very pleasant surprise. It's beautiful. The location is perfect, and the room was very nice and clean. We had a balcony (not oceanfront) so we could see the sun rise in the morning and we could see the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of COVID, there was no housekeeping, but if we needed anything, we just called and got it. My first time staying here definitely won't be my last.
google avatar

Whitney R.

Yelp
Our first time in Ocean City.... also during Covid. The hotel is in a great location. Beachfront - right by the boardwalk. Lots of things to do in walking distance. The rooms were clean and spacious. Our room had a balcony which you could see the beach (but not oceanfront). The pool is nice. The glass doors around the pool open up so while it is indoor, you're able to relax outside. Nice concept. Gym is a decent size. The only thing that I wouldn't recommend is the restaurant. Food seemed overpriced for what it was. Parking is easy and accessible.... and free!

Traceysmith11 ..

Yelp
Good luck finding a USB port to charge your devices. Management says it is due for a remodel mid 2024. At the least, they could install updated outlets in the rooms with USB ports. Mattresses are uncomfortable as well. Very disappointed as this is not standard Marriott quality.

Jay T.

Yelp
We have stayed here several times over the past few years, most recently last week for 2 nights. It is as good as ever, and we were pleasantly surprised that it even exceeded our expectations. The women at the front desk were terrific...efficient, welcoming and friendly. The room and bathroom were spotless, providing every amenity we needed. The bed and pillows very comfortable. Nice long desk area and a reading chair as well. We booked online and once there, they upgraded us to an ocean view balcony as it was off season and fairly empty. So nice to sit out in unseasonably warm weather and watch the waves. The hotel itself is right on the boardwalk which is a real plus. Definitely recommend. There is also an indoor pool and fitness room but we didn't use either.

Yelp
I'm here for my second stay and I really like this place. Great location, outstanding views, and well run. I'm a lifelong Marriott guy so I'm partial but this is one of my favorite spots.
google avatar

Teree B.

Yelp
3 stars only because . . . The Bed. It was old, hard, squeaky and hurt my back all three nights I was there. The sheets didn't fit and I'd find myself waking up in the middle of the night to the sheets off the mattress and lying on the mattress pad. GROSS!!! Felt like the old and worn out mattress from the cheap roadside motels from my youth when traveling with my family. Certainly expected better from Marriott! Other than that, the room was nice and had the best view of ocean. Nice hotel.
google avatar

Yelp
We stayed here the week of the 4th of July this summer. It was my kids first summer week at the beach and it couldn't have been any better (except if we had a larger fridge or kitchen). The location was fantastic, easy access to the beach, the parking was convenient, the staff friendly. It was even better that we stayed using travel rewards, but that's beside the point. The Captain's Table is in the hotel and served breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't wait to come back and make this an annual visit with my family.
google avatar

Yelp
This hotel is a good location. It's oceanfront and on the boardwalk. There are plenty of things, shops, and restaurants to walk from the hotel. They said you could rent chairs. I didn't see that. There's a tiny pool. It's under roof and only a few chairs that get sun. You have to get towels from front desk and converse with the unfriendly front desk. Housekeeping comes super late. We came up from the ocean 2 days at 4:30 and had no service. It was fine. Front desk people weren't friendly ever. But other workers were super friendly (maintenance and housekeeping) it was a typical courtyard. It was fine.
google avatar

alexander m.

Yelp
Stayed here, with ocean-boardwalk view. Room is clean and comfortable and we actually liked the two queen bed configuration better than king bed setup. Can't beat the view of the ocean or the sound of the waves. The boardwalk atmosphere (lots of fun) is in stark contrast to the quietly wonderful restaurant on the non-ocean-view side of hotel. The staff at hotel from front desk to housekeeping are friendly and remarkable. We had a problem (travel enough and it is bound to happen) but the front desk staff of Ashley and Taylor took care of it for us. Thank Much Happy Fourth! (this is really a five star hotel, but the construction of a hyatt next door, is a temporary visual distraction)
google avatar

Down Like Four Flats S.

Yelp
The check in process was easy and smooth my only disappointment was there was no king beds available per my husband's request one of the queen bed sheets were dirty they had black and brown stains on it me being in the hotel industry I am mediately pulled the sheets back to check to see if it was feathers coming from the goose down comforter for what it was it didn't make a big deal about it just use the other bed for the most part this hotel is not lived in so we were extremely happy
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
Had a great three night stay at the courtyard.. Have grown up going to ocean city every summer and now that I'm an adult taking my kids this will definitely be our choice of hotel. The room is so clean, beds comfortable. One day were in and out of the room so we couldn't get the room serviced.. They were so nice to leave a bag with fresh towels and toiletries.. Front desk staff was so welcoming and always positive.. Also the restaurant is phenomenal!.. Can't wait to go back to this hotel.. The only downside is probably the size of the pool.. Seemed to be small for the amount of people
google avatar

Angie T.

Yelp
Very disappointed with our stay here from a customer service and cleaning perspective. We checked in Friday for a week. Upon check in we were told that due to COVID, daily room service would not be provided. She did say if we needed new towels or trash emptied, to let them know. Yesterday I asked for more towels and was assured they would be brought up. Didn't happen. I called last evening and was told the same thing...still nothing. I called this morning and was told to put all of our dirty towels in the hall and they would be replaced...they brought one towel. We've asked a 4th time and now we're waiting. Additionally there have been cracker crumbs right outside our door since we checked in and 4 days later, they're still there. Other than that the hotel is fine, the location is great and the room is comfortable. Very surprised at the customer service as compared to what I've experienced at Marriott properties before.

Yelp
This Courtyard is bells and whistles above most Courtyard footprints anywhere. The lobby, which includes a large meeting table, rooms, and even the bathrooms are trendy, exceeding Hilton and other Marriott properties. My room this visit was direct oceanfront. Very soothing view. Room was also very comfortable and homey. Besides being bells and whistles above, the property is extremely clean. Housekeeping is excellent. There's a positive vibe in the house. Staff is bright and cheerful. Seriously. People actually smile here! Kudos to Lindsey who checked me in at registration. Matt, who was my server at dinner and Georgia at breakfast. Maybe the vibe's due to owners who are hands on not just with the hotel but their excellent Captain's Table Restaurant. This property is tops on my list. Recommend.
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
This is a solid Marriott property. No surprises, a few tips: 1. The lobby is upstairs from where you enter the building (take the elevators). 2. The pool looked really nice (although I wasn't swimming). 3. Breakfast isn't free (although I was given a discount coupon when I checked in). 4. I had a sweet beach view, but the balconies have no privacy walls between the, so get cozy with your neighbors! Service was nice a precise, lobby stylish and welcoming, the room was clean and everything worked as it should. Definitely recommended!
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
This to me is the top hotel in OC. Very friendly and professional staff. Jennifer at front desk was a five star employe. I travel a lot for work and usually stay at Courtyard or residents inn. Just about all the Courtyards nationwide wide have under gone major renovation. But this one has belive it or not has the best restaurant in terms food quality than any courtyard I have stayed at in the past. Whole stay everyone on hotel staff made children feel welcome and special.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
I live in So Md and spend several weekends in Ocean City throughout the year. I stumbled on this hotel last fall and have been impressed since. The location on the boardwalk is convenient, the hotel is new and extremely clean, the complimentary coffee station was a nice touch, the food in the restaurant meets the mark and in peak season there is a piano player in the bar area. All of this is great but what sets this boutique feeling Marriott apart is the staff led by the manager Spencer. They make you feel welcomed from the minute you enter the lobby. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and to meet your expectations. I have referred several family and friends to this hotel because of all of the reasons stated above. Kudos to Spencer and his team.
google avatar

Kelley S.

Yelp
We made a last minute trip to OC and booked a room at the Courtyard . Great location on 15th street, near the middle of the boardwalk. Easy walk to either end of the boardwalk. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Ocean view is wonderful!! Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no concierge lounge, and no accommodation for breakfast in lieu of concierge lounge which is customary at all other Marriotts.
google avatar

Yelp
My family and I had such a great experience here. Coming from someone who has done a lot of international travel and having experience staying is 5-star hotels, I honestly was impressed by this Marriott. We came during cruise weekend and had made the mistake of not calling ahead to let them know we would be missing the first day of our reservation- silly I know- but the staff was willing to fix this mistake on our part and get us a room with an ocean view. Everything is clean and modern, staff is friendly, the beds are very comfortable and the proximity to the boardwalk and shopping was very convenient. It's far enough away from the hustle of the busier areas and tucked away so the noise of the cruisers wasn't so bad! We had a great time in the pool, though I wish the conversation pit was warmer, my kids and I enjoyed it! I was originally bummed that it was an indoor pool but the weather was so cool I changed my mind quickly! Above all, Captains Table restaurant was not only the best food we had ever had in Ocean City but it was delicious! We ordered crab dip, ribeye steak, Manhattan clam chowder and spinach salad. The portions are generous! Wish this restaurant was closer to us in Northern Virginia... there was a live piano player who was just lovely. Again, the staff and atmosphere was very friendly. We also had room service delivered later after swimming for dessert and wine. A bottle of wine was a bit expensive but not pricey enough to say no, haha! Thank you Courtyard for giving us a beautiful memory. We will be back!

Yelp
OC is usually a mini weekend vacay away from the busy world in D.C. The comforts of Courtyard, make the getaway perfect! for three years now, I've been coming to this hotel. the very first time was pure luck. It had not longed open and my friend and I drove up with no reservations. We stumbled about this spot and grabbed it as the only room available was an oceanfront room!!!!!!! LOL Thank goodness for his Marriott points that helped with a small discount! Located right on the boardwalk, the hotel does have a South Beach, Miami appeal to it. Still, each time we come I'm able to relax. The private balconies are very sleek! Have an Ipod? Bring it in the room and charge on the charger/clock/radio thingamajig! I believe there is free wi-fi, but I've never taken advantage. I'm on vacation! LOL
google avatar

Dave P.

Yelp
Free wi-fi in the room. The room had an Ipod radio with built-in recharger. Free computer access in the business room. Complimentary Wall St Journal & USA Today. Under building parking and lot across the street. Indoor pool was clean.

Yelp
Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Oceanfront. What more could you ask for?

Yelp
I'm not much of a hotel fan, but circumstances forced us to make an extended stay in OC. We chose the Marriott since the room rate was decent and we were really pleased. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff accomodating. Our breakfast last day was exceptionally good as was the server. Wish we had eaten dinner there. At first glance dinner looks pricey but for hotel guests it's discounted on certain items. There were certainly enough choices. I understand the hotel restaurant is family run. Something different. I liked the location on the boardwalk. Off season the place is like a ghost town but we were never ones for crowds anyway. No lines but fewer choices. What I really wanted to write about though was the staff who were really exceptional. Jen and Leili were professional, kind and helpful. Restaurant suggestions were spot on. They really made us feel like family. Both women went above and beyond our expectations as far as we were concerned. They genuinely enjoy and try to accomodate their guests without all of that superficial nonsense. I don't guess we'll find ourselves back in OC anytime soon, but I would highly recommend this hotel.

Tia H.

Yelp
Although the room is nicely decorated, the customer service is the reason for the rating. I'm completely disappointed not to have a balcony at the beach. Although I requested an oceanfront upgrade and was declined I never imagined as a loyalty and rewards member to not have a balcony with a partial view. The manager not only provided no accommodations but continued to blame me for the type of room I booked completely dismiss my rewards status. I hate to report when you stay in a high demand location like the beach and use points you will probably get the room with the worse view. My view is the parking lot and noisy coastal highway. I expect more from the courtyard.

John C.

Yelp
I have stayed here 3 times, most recently September 2016, and twice in January as I have always preferred Ocean City off season. I agree with an earlier poster that this Courtyard is a cut above the average. The location is perfect, right on the Boardwalk. The staff is friendly and I noticed in my most recent stay little turnover. The rooms are comfortable and very well maintained. The ocean view rooms definitely are preferable but fill up quickly, even in off season. The Captain's Table restaurant is shared space arrangement with a tie in to Marriott and takes the place of a complementary breakfast nook found at most Courtyards. Breakfast is considerably better but not free. Discount coupons are provided for fixed menu breakfasts. The food is good and the coffee excellent. Parking spaces are very tight for anything larger than a standard sedan. There is an overflow uncovered parking lot across the street. Pricing is based on seasonal demand and progressively more discounted off season. Discounts are available for Marriott Rewards members.

Yelp
At 4:30 p.m on July 28, I had to go ask for our room to be cleaned so we had towels to get a shower so we could get ready to go to dinner. The trash cans in the rooms are extremely small, I had to empty the trash twice and i saw other guests doing the same. The trash can in the Ice/vending area was over flowing from guests putting their trash in there. The lighting in the room is terrible. No exhaust fan in the bathroom so you had to let the door open so the mirror didn't steam up when someone was taking a shower. The refrigerators are a joke and extremely small. Luckily we had a cooler and access to ice. It would be nice if there was access to the parking lot from the outside shower station, which we found by dumb luck because when we asked the front desk where the exterior shower station was to clean the sand off of us, we were told that you did not have one. This hotel is not designed to accommodate guests staying longer than 2 days Parking spaces are ridiculously close. I would expect a better pool but that wasn't a high priority for us. No privacy walls at balconies so hopefully you love your neighbors. The staff was very polite and the breakfast that we ate at the Captains table each morning was very good. The hotel was clean however i most definitely will not stay here again. We had a very good experience at the Commander but was looking for a little more "bang for our buck" so we tried the Courtyard. Back to The Commander next year!

Yelp
I do not write a lot of reviews but this one struck a nerve for me. We went to Ocean City for a last minute wedding of my brother in law on July 31, 2019. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott on 15th St. The room itself was very spacious and nice. The AC unit however was another issue. We arrived on July 31st. Not January 31st. The AC was set for 70 but the actual temp was 74. We checked in and changed the setting to 65 just in case there was some lag and went to the beach. We came back hours later and the temp as still 74. I called the front desk at 6pm to ask if they locked the temp as 74 and I was told "the sun is setting and it causes the room to warm up if the blinds are open". Mind you, I'm looking between the buildings at the Atlantic Ocean at 6 pm. Obviously geography was not required to hire. The AC NEVER got better and I have already steered someone else to stay elsewhere. If you are coming in the summer, stay elsewhere. If coming in January, it is a very nice place.

Yelp
Modern, clean, free parking, on beach. Love it. Indoor pool a plus w cooler weather. Laundry room, exercise room, change rooms, restaurant on site that's decent. Staff helpful, rates exceptional, what is there not to love.

Yelp
Modern and clean, great location right on the boardwalk, easy access to the beach and to restaurants, pool was on the small side, for the money they charge it should be bigger, most of the pools around the other hotels were nice sizes, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because on my last night they never came to clean the room and we gave them plenty of time otherwise great stay. Also always found parking either on the onsite parking or across the street

Yelp
Our trip here was okay except we were woken up to construction noise starting at 6:30 am each morning. I wish we would have known prior to staying here. I would not recommend this place until the construction is completed Nextdoor.

Yelp
I stayed here a few years ago before I learned of Yelp but me and my then girlfriend loved the hotel. The pool was heated, the rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable. We had a room on the side but we still loved our view and the staff was friendly and helpful. I got the room thanks to Priceline if I could ever get a room at this hotel again through a online or hotel reserve app I would.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to go here for a quick getaway after Christmas. We reserved a beachfront room and at check-in, asked for one on an upper level. The clerk saw that we used Booking.com and said that there were no rooms available on upper floors and that the hotel was full. That sounded strange since we were checking in two hours early and only saw a few people during our entire two day stay. In fact, we only saw one person on the balcony, as opposed to several as we had expected. The hotel is like a maze with small hallways and elevators that service certain floors. Doors to some elevators are hidden behind other doors you wouldn't think to open, so getting around was confusing and difficult. We had to help a woman find her way to the lobby at one point. The pool was heated enough to use if you really wanted to but the "hot" tub was actually colder than the pool, and the jet control could not be located. We went to The Captain's Table for dinner the first night. There were only a few people there as well. I ordered the $44 filet mignon with crab imperial. The crab on top had been broiled black, causing the filet underneath to overcook to the point of being inedible. The waitress was nice, so I did not send it back but picked around my plate instead. We purchased breakfast when booking and were given vouchers. We were not told we had to order from a limited menu, so my husband had to pay for his blueberry pancakes the first morning and chipped beef the next. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, but the parking "garage" on the first floor had such small spaces, they were hard to get into without scraping pillars or walls. There were two large pickup trucks in a fender bender trying to maneuver their vehicles when we were there, so we parked on the street. I can't imagine staying here during the summer months when the rooms are actually booked. This was our first and last visit.

Yelp
The room is decent but good luck on trying to find parking. We booked a penthouse sleeping 8 people, and the Marriott provided 1 parking pass. Obviously, all 8 of us didn't arrive in one car. We spoke with a manager to ask for one additional parking pass which they refused. If you've ever been to ocean city, you know parking is a big deal. I will not stay here again.

Yelp
I've been wanting to visit Ocean City for some time. I was happy to make a reservation here, but tried canceling based on a Noreaster storm coming through in favor of better weather and a Marriott in Virginia Beach. I tried canceling at work the day before checking in, as allowed with their cancellation policy, but strongly believe some emergent cybersecurity measures imposed at my government agency might have stopped the cancellation going through as I had another online transaction problem that day. Sunday morning, I got charged for a no-show. I tried working with the hotel management to lower the impact and provide an incentive to stay with them in the future. But, apparently, they are all about the numbers and did not sympathize with my plight at all. I've tried booking with them in the past and have encountered their 2-night minimum in the summer, a past deal-breaker for me. I was hoping this time would be different. Let this be a warning to those who anticipate having scheduling difficulties. The management is not sympathetic.

Yelp
Four of us stayed here in feb. Though it was the off season, the hotel was full. The hotel was laid out very well and was very attractive. Free wifi was great to have and free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in the lobby. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but did enjoy a few drinks in there. Prices were good, and they have a daily happy hour from 3-7. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The oceanfront balconies were small but you could squeeze four people on it. Pick a high floor to be above the crowds on the boardwalk. We would absolutely stay here again. The courtyard is a gem in the land of beach hotels.

Yelp
Beautiful newer hotel right on the beach. Great facilities. We will return! Since it is courtyard, no free breakfast, but that's an acceptable sacrifice.

Yelp
The hotel itself was fine and right on the boardwalk. The parking garage is kind of tight but there were still plenty of spaces. The lobby is located on the 3rd floor. The staff overall were friendly; however,I was quite disappointed with our check-in experience and expected more by the front desk associate. We arrived early around 2:10pm. My husband checked in and she told him our room wasn't quite ready but should be in a few minutes. Perfectly understandable. We sat in the lobby with our bags. The lobby looks out to a small indoor pool with hot tub as well as outdoor seating area with lounge chairs. Its not particularly appealing because it overlooks a construction site next door. By 3pm our toddler was getting restless (mind you the weather was AMAZING outside and they have the AC blasting indoors). I went to ask the same front desk associate how much longer it'd be and her response was "closer to 4pm...check in as at 4pm". W.T.F. We we're the ONLY people waiting in the lobby that whole time...I was doing laps with our toddler to keep her entertained. Why the 4pm check-in wasn't communicated when we first arrived instead of being told and given the impression it'd be " few minutes" is beyond me. We literally wasted an 1hr waiting indoors versus enjoying the beach on our first family vacation. I was quite peeved. Any other associate would have offered to hold bags and say that we could enjoy the beach and give us a call when our room is available. Instead, we took our bags back down to the car, walked to the boardwalk and then 20 mins later (3:25) we get a call that the room is ready. The other staff members I spoke to throughout our visit were very friendly and helpful. Location wise, this hotel is on the opposite end of the boardwalk, furthest from the amusement park.

Yelp
Location: On boardwalk. Walk 30 feet to the beach, perhaps another 200 feet to the water. Price: For the location, price is okay; it's not a bargain and it's not overly expensive. For what you get in the room, it is very overpriced. You're paying extra only because the location is so good, because the rooms are rather modest. Amenities: Workout facility looked decent; free coffee in the lobby (decent); the pool is nice and there is a smaller pool (called the Conversation Pit) which looks suspiciously like a hot tub, but is absolutely not. The Conversation Pit is the same temp as the rest of the pool. A few beds out in the courtyard area, but they do not appear to be remarkably well looked after. Parking: Parking is available underneath the hotel at the street level and overflow parking is across the street. Service: Average. Overall: I would return, but not before looking for a better deal.
