Courtyard by Marriott – CDG Airport I had a very pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott near Charles de Gaulle Airport. The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. One of the standout features is the excellent soundproofing — despite being so close to the airport, the room was exceptionally quiet. The hotel offers one main restaurant serving breakfast, which was convenient and well organized. There is also a small supermarket on-site where you can purchase basic necessities, which is very practical for short stays. The staff truly deserves special mention — they were all extremely professional, welcoming, and efficient throughout the stay, special thanks to Muhammad, front office. Location is another major advantage. The hotel is just a three-minute walk from the free airport train, making access to all terminals quick and effortless. Overall, it’s a perfect choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and peace right next to the airport. Perfect stay for an overnight in Paris if you wish to stay close to the airport.

We stayed in the hotel on a Saturday night. As mentioned by most of the recent reviews, the check in staff was not warm nor passion. She merely did her job without any human touch. The brand can actually explore using AI assisted self check in as this might just serve the purpose without the need to feel the “coldness” of the front desk staff. Be prepared to walk about 10mins from CDGVAL carpark R stop. It will be outdoor walk, so prepare suitable clothing (winter or rain) for the walk. The hotel room was clean and tidy. Water pressure for the bathroom was not ideal but acceptable. Breakfast priced at €26 per pax. The buffet spread was alright with this pricing. Food quality was good as well. Given the Marriott brand, the service of this hotel definitely disappoint us. We have another return trip at this hotel but is considering changing to another airport hotel nearby.

The hotel was pretty standard for an airport hotel, location is very convenient with the train cdgval. Where my stay took a turn was that I needed to make a quick trip back to Belgium for a meeting. I booked my tgv tickets yesterday, and knew my arrival time back. Prior to leaving this morning, I asked the gro at the lobby if I could check out beyond the usual 4 pm, which is what bonvoy platinum usually allows for. I specified my train would return at 4:45, and he said that would be fine. Had he told me there would be a charge, I would have simply left my suitcase with the bellboy in the morning. Upon my return, Amélie told me that I was being charged 20 euro for checking out at 5 pm. This sat so poorly with me, that I felt the necessity to write this review. I told her I wanted to file a complaint, and she was basically very dismissive, which is even more irritating. I think that some of the staff seem to be lacking in training. Apart from the 2, everyone else was very nice and helpful. I didnt remember any other names, Edwin was very nice and courteous. Its a shame that some of the staff dont take pride in their work, and leave such a bad experience with the hotel guests.

There was ONE guy working. No staff in the bar, no staff in the kitchen, one guy handling all the check-ins, no one else to help out. He unexpectedly needed to check in 50+ people. There was no communication, a massive queue and he declined help from another nearby Marriott hotel that was fully booked. I understand that delayed and cancelled flights caused an unexpected amount of guests, but at least communicate that there's an extra waiting time or get more staff there immediately. I ended up waiting two hours just to be checked in and go to sleep. That's not a pleasant experience after a 14 hour flight. The hotel itself is good, the room clean and the location is close to the airport. In terms of service and customer support, I'm highly disappointed. Especially for a brand like Marriott.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid Unless Absolutely Necessary I recently stayed at this hotel near CDG Airport during a business trip, expecting a quality experience based on my previous stay at a Marriott property in Goa, which was exceptional. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. From the moment I arrived, the service was unacceptable. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and dismissive, making me feel as though I was intruding rather than checking into a hotel. When I inquired about dinner and breakfast options, I was told to check with the restaurant myself. I also asked about a wake-up call service, and the response was a blunt “No.” Upon entering the room, I noticed there was no dental kit provided. I attempted to contact reception multiple times without success. Thankfully, I had an early departure the next morning (checked in late on November 23 and left at 5 AM on November 24), which limited my exposure to this poor experience. This level of service is unacceptable for a brand like Marriott. It tarnishes the reputation of an otherwise respected hospitality chain. I strongly advise avoiding this property unless you have no other options.

We stayed one night and it's a very clean hotel with an exceptional French breakfast and Dinner buffet. Very tasty and value for money. Their service was consistent that was offered with a smile. I highly recommend them.

We’ve been coming to this hotel for two plus years now as we have a second home in France. Today, we checked in with two less than friendly/professional young ladies at the front desk. My husband is European, speaks OK French (he’s German) and asked the young lady to repeat what she said (she spoke very quickly AND was mumbling). He politely asked her to repeat what she said (he asked in French) and she said it exactly the same way. WOW. So rude and had a snark on her face. So, who ever reads this, you can look up our history with your hotel and my husband is a GOLD member with Marriott. NOT OK. And why is the restaurant only opening at 7pm/19h? For a French restaurant, OK, we know, but for travelers who want to shower and get to bed for an early flight, it doesn’t make sense. Normally, we enjoy staying here, so we’d appreciate a follow up. Merci beaucoup!

I had a nice visit with clean rooms and a great airport runway view. However, I had a very strange incident of the housekeeping staff barging into my room without even knock in at the door. They justified saying that the room cleaning schedule incorrectly showed my room as empty. The breakfast is good and being an airport hotel, they have shuttles every hour shunting between the hotel and the airport.
