I was really disappointed in this courtyard. This is a new hotel and I thought it would have modern conveniences, but I was wrong.
Maid service: My main gripe is that the overall service was lack luster. Our room was poorly serviced with the blanket piled on a chair instead of folded, beds barely made, iron left out, and toiletries were barely replenished. Day after day, same bad service. I left my pressed trousers out and when I returned there were a bunch of items piled on top of them. I had to repress themOne day, I asked for a sewing kit. I called 3 times and either 1) they didn't have any or 2) they didn't care to give it to me. Either way I was never informed. I waited for one hour and then left. I told the front desk to leave it in the room, but it wasn't there when I got back. Poor service for a Marriott.
Smoking: (Though most Parisians are big-time smokers, I am not, in fact smoke makes me ill.) My non-smoking hotel room should not be filled with smoke every night. It seemed as if the smoke was coming in from the hotel's own hvac. WTF, I thought this hotel was non-smoking.
Power: the power went out on several occasions, while getting ready, at breakfast and in the lavoratory. When I called about it, the front desk stated it will come back on in 5 minutes. Each time it did come back on, but it was quite inconvenient, and without air conditioning the room quickly became stuffy. I'm glad I was not in the elevator.
I would not recommend this place if you are traveling for work or have children or in anyway need reliability from your hotel.
