Courtyard Playhouse Dubai

I recently attended a show at The Courtyard Playhouse in Dubai With Sparkle Foundation, and it was a truly memorable experience! The atmosphere was warm, intimate, and full of creative energy. The performers were incredibly talented - their improv skills and stage presence kept the audience engaged and laughing throughout. What I appreciated most was the genuine passion for theatre you can feel the moment you walk in. It’s clear that everyone involved puts their heart into the performance. 👏🏻👏🏻😂😂

Taking improv and acting courses at the Courtyard Playhouse has genuinely been transformative for my quick thinking, spontaneity, and creative expression. I’ve completed three courses so far - Don’t Panic, Spirit, and Desert Monologues and each one has challenged and inspired me in completely different, and meaningful ways. The instructors are not only incredibly skilled but also wonderfully supportive, and the entire atmosphere feels like a true safe space to experiment, learn, and have lots of fun. The admin team deserves a shout-out as well for organizing everything so seamlessly. I’m excited to continue my journey with the upcoming courses, and I genuinely recommend the Courtyard Playhouse to anyone looking to strengthen their interpersonal skills, boost confidence, and have an amazing time while doing it!

My son enjoyed the camp at courtyard big time. He would be super excited everyday. I was very impressed with the show the kids did on their last day. The organization is amazing in the camp and the staff are super friendly.

I went to an event hosted by Solène at the Courtyard Playhouse recently. A thoughtful and genuinely thought-provoking Saturday evening, anchored by her excellent film - which I’d recommend to anyone. Using improv as a method for grounding and improving our mental health is something I hadn't thought of before. The venue itself is a gem. Warm staff, relaxed atmosphere, and a very human feel that’s sometimes rare in Dubai. Strongly recommended for their shows and events.

I went to see a National Theatre screening of The Fifth Step at the Courtyard Playhouse last night, and it did not disappoint. Jack Lowden and Martin Freeman were exceptional. For anyone who hasn’t been, the Courtyard Playhouse is a beautiful venue that enables us to experience the best of on-screen theatre in an intimate theatre. Try it for yourself- you’ll get a very warm welcome from Penny and the team.

We went to their Monday improv comedy night for the first time this week and we laughed a lot. Very cute theatre and amazing group of friendly people who come together to share their art. I would love for my daughter to join their classes. I think it’s one of a kind place in Dubai.

One of the best improv theatres I’ve ever been to. Volunteers to performers to each n every person in the establishment is extremely warm n welcoming. Catch all their events through out the walk just RSVP for free n enjoy 2 hours of live entertainment 🙌🏾

the workshop was very helpful and fun! It made me think a lot about how to deal with certain situations not only related to work but personal life as well!! 10/10 would recommend :) special thanks to Fred!
