A small nice museum with various pieces of furniture from 18-19 centuries. The entrance ticket costs 10€, but we got a combi one and visited 2 museums for the same cost. The museum is holding a exhibition with clothing and make up elements of a local theater(?). There were many interesting costumes. Unfortunately everything related to this exhibition was in German which I don't know. It took about 30 minutes to go through the museum. Probably because the was not so many text plates in English.

It’s a small museum, overpriced (10 EUR per adult) for its size and what it has to offer. The receptionist was rude, not sure what she thinks of herself (we visited Sunday morning, 9th Nov). The persistent request to put a sticker on your clothes to be seen within museum (entry ticket) is ridiculous. It’s a few square meters museum, no logic and no need to do that. It reminded me of the past century and how certain people were treated in Germany, also requested to wear something on their jackets to be seen…. Absurd!

It’s a small museum with some interesting furniture and artwork dating from a different era. Only takes 10 to 30 minutes to go through the entire exhibit. It’s not entirely breathtaking, but it’s certainly interesting to walk through. Admittance was €10 to get in.

Content of the museum top. But very questionable person at the front desk. That young girl wasn’t behaving nor speaking professionally. Furthermore she wasn’t aware of the type of tickets from your museum. She even said without knowing, that this wasn’t a ticket! It was me who had to explain her and research proof on your website to show her your very own terms and conditions of this very valid ticket. She didn’t apologize and let me in. During the entire time of my visit she was “busy” chatting with the security guard from downstairs. Unbelievable that such people get to work for you, a cultural site. Despite the blatant incompetency, it would still be somewhat tolerable if the person working at your front desk had at least a basic level of social manners. Of course greeting and saying goodbye was totally too much to expect too. However what this person lacked, the security staff made up for. Especially those from the higher floors, they were all welcoming, attentive and very friendly.

Very nice Museum, the rooms are well kept, the smell from all the perfums. The people was very friendly, they answer to all the questions. The locations was very accessible.

Zero charm at the entrance: the girl at the ticket desk made me leave a tiny backpack – pure pettiness. When I asked why my companion could keep her bag, she made her leave it too, out of spite. Professionalism clearly means something else here. Fortunately, there’s a lady upstairs, friendly and smiling, who saves the museum’s reputation.

Beautiful museum near the Dom and Town Hall in the historic district of Aachen. You can wander from room to room and be impressed by the beautiful interiors. There is even a pharmacy and there is a fine collection of porcelain, furniture and especially cutlery

It is like visiting a house from the 18 century. The personal use to follow you every where you go but don't take it personal, they do that for everyone. It has an small inner yard where you can take a coffee for 1.50 EUR. It is a nice place if you like the art and your are curious about how the people lived in that times.

This musem was an interesting museum, and it was a good one for english speakers to visit. The signs were in english, german and french so all the rooms and artifacts were well labeled. It was an interesting insite into the houses of the time and how people lived in them. The details in the rooms are beautiful and on a whole was relativly educational on how people in germany lived in the upper classes in the 1800s. The downside of the museum though is that the staff potentially ruin the experience. The cashier was less than friendly to me and my german speaking companion and made us both feel like we were inconveniencing him for having to part with our Euros, and then when he explained we needed to leave our bags and coats with him (which was no problem with us) he again made us feel like we had objected to this, so was angry from the start. It was only that his collegue was friendly and hospitable that we decided to continue and enter the museum. Then one of the volunteers, although well meaning followed us through the whole museum. It was good that there was someone there to answer our questions, but as we were the only people in the museum at the time i think we got a bit too much attentionperhaps it would have been a better place to visit when there were more people there.
