Cove Bay

Built in 1776 this has always been a hotel and restaurant and bar. The room was clean and nice. The hotel has an amazing location and view. The food was great! The staff very friendly and welcoming! Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place. Highly recommend this place!! The food is great! The bar has free pool table! Excellent place to watch a storm!!

Couldn't be happier with our stay. We were in Aberdeen for a conference, and didn't want to stay in a regular hotel in the city (I can do that anywhere). We stayed here 7 nights. The Cove Bay offered comfortable rooms with great service, in a quiet part of town. The ocean is just a quick jaunt from the front door, and the surrounding area is mostly quiet neighborhoods. Downtown is only a 15 minute drive along the coast. Downstairs, is a restaurant and pub. The food was always great (place was always busy at dinner service), and the staff were friendly and attentive. After long days, sitting in the pub knocking back pints and playing darts was something we looked forward to. Really felt like home. I'll miss it. Highly recommended.
