Cove Street Arts

Cove Street Arts showcase a wide variety of artists. There are paintings, photography, and sculpture. I love the large space where guests can walk around to view the artists' work. There are restrooms.

A very nice gallery with new and emerging artists from the region. What a nice surprise. Suggested by a local who new great places to go to see art. Highly recommend a visit and after exploring the gallery, head off into the up and coming surrounding neighborhood for a beverage, a bite or shopping. A trendy area about to pop.

Great exhibit and wonderful space in a really cool part of town.

Grant Drumhiller has big new work. Wonderful to see. Was there to hear Richard Wilson talk about his extensive show, spanning years with prints and paintings!!!

Quality art, beautiful exhibition space. We’ll worth visiting for anyone who is an art lover.

Wonderful space for multiple exhibitions

Commercial art gallery. Great space, great artwork, cool neighborhood with cafes and microbreweries. Small bookstore with art books and various small art pieces for sale. Artwork nicely displayed - will definitely watch for the next show. Check out Avalanche of Paint by Gary Buch until Feb 5th!

Cove Street has quickly become the most engaging art gallery in Maine, with a wide array of offerings within an extremely expansive space.

I consider Cove Street Arts to be the most exciting gallery in Portland. The space is magnificent and affords room for both large and smaller exhibits in its various rooms. The open central space has hosted some excellent installations that couldn't have been shown anywhere else but a museum. I am delighted and intrigued by the diversity of the exhibits, which are often cutting edge and always of a high quality. Others I know--many of them artists or of an artistic bent--would agree about our good fortune in having this NYC-caliber gallery in Portland. In addition, the gallery hosts interesting interviews and talks by artists and speakers. I can't say enough about Cove Street Arts and hope they continue to make this small city their home!
