Ok, I made a last minute decision to do this since I was staying at the resort... It's "all you can ride" for a one hour period. I bought my ticket at 6:03 so I had 57 minutes because they closed at 7 pm. I was the ONLY person riding this evening and was able to complete seven separate rounds during my time slot.... Now, I cannot stress this enough, I had the most EXCITINGLY fun experience which was so unexpected and thrilling. I felt like a kid again and cannot even remember the last time I felt that way. The guys working at the coaster were super friendly, helpful, and the ride itself was full of ups, downs, twists, and sharp, unexpected turns that got the adrenaline and excitement pumping (so much so, several unsolicited squeals forced their way out of my mouth). In addition to the ride itself, the views over Jackson Hole and across to the mountains were stunning. I cannot recommend this enough. It was an experience.

Google
We are 3 adults and decided to do the coaster on a beautiful September Saturday afternoon, there was no wait and we had a blast! I definitely recommend.

Stacy WB

Google
The cowboy coaster was a fun ride. Take you to the top slowly so you can enjoy the views on the way up. Then let you go, and you can mostly control your speed, but there are times it slows you down even if you are pushing the accelerators forward.

Matt Jensen

Google
It's okay, is a good response. Cool concept, but the pricing structure is based on time, not the number of rides. We got 2-3 rides in one hour, and lines were growing unreasonable. Would have been better with a punch card.

Deepti Agarwal

Google
This was fun, slightly different concept, it’s like regular coaster going up but get to control speed on way down and enjoy the gorgeous views around. A decent 2 min ride is fun and can be enjoyed by most

jared howes

Google
Last minute decision to take the kids (ages 13 - 23). We had a blast! The staff are friendly and helpful. The coaster is very well maintained and is extremely safe. It is easy to decide how fast or slow you want to travel. I would like to thank the the staff member (Sarah) that assisted us with a lost cell phone.

Abraham Castro

Google
I had a fun time on the ride it gives you awesome views of Teton, but it's honestly expensive for what you get out of it. Ride lasts about 2 - 2 1/2 minutes for $20. Snow king is out to make money from the tourist pockets. This should be something more on the lines of a $5 dollar ride. If yours going to spend $20 for 2 minutes, might as well save up for a six flags ticket.

Joe Anderson

Google
The cowboy coaster is amazing, super fun intense experience and a great way to see the jackson valley. A couple runs on the coaster and I’m ready to move onto something else which is just perfect upon riding up the mountain and racing back down it.

Jina K.

Yelp
For $65 we were able to go on cowboy coaster x1 hr and tubing for 1 hr. The location of this resort is 5 min from Jackson hole town. We came Jan 8 and it wasn't crowded at all with zero lines. Tubing and coaster was super fun. My kids 9 and 11 had a blast! Highly recommend.

Alan R.

Yelp
Wow, what a super cool venue. Views from here are the best in the world. You never gonna find a venue with better views. Toughest thing is getting down the mountain when everybody else wants to get down I guess that's why you buy VIP tickets but super fun if you can chill afterwards chill late all good just go hang out love the mountain experience.

Yelp
Very fun for all ages me and my family went snow tubing, cowboy coaster, and the observation thing. Mathew and the other guy at the observation thing are very smart and answered every question and help us through everything. I would recommend going here if you have a day that is not planed and hope for a clear night. It was great for the price we payed and there is a very large selection of things to do.

Theresa C.

Yelp
My husband ziplined here while I rode up and down in the gondola. He had a blast, the guides gave a good instructional talk before we went up. Kept everyone safe when zipping down the steepest course in the USA

Jesena M.

Yelp
They charge full price, even though the whole mountain is a huge construction zone. Hard to access any place with a view, the hut with the nice view is shuttered and all you hear is banging and heavy equipment. I think this should be mentioned at the ticket booth, I wouldn't have gone knowing the extent of chaos up here. I mean even $15 is too much for it, skip it until they are done.

Kaleigh H.

Yelp
Had a great experience with kaleb doing maintenance. He was a nice guy. Snow king was amazing 10/10 will come again.

Eabha ..

Yelp
The observatory at the top of the gondola is disappointing to say the least, just framed pictures of stars and low resolution movies. Booked zip lining trip but weather conditions didn't allow it to happen, which is understandable, safety is #1 priority. However... THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ?? Staff don't seem to know policy and were unhelpful. Basically got scammed out of 200+ dollars.

Yelp
Horribly Disappointing Experience with Misty at Guest Services My recent experience at Snow King Resort in the summer today was marred by an incredibly disappointing interaction with Misty at Guest Services. From the moment I approached her for assistance, it was clear that customer service was not a priority. Misty's attitude was unfriendly and dismissive. She seemed irritated by simple questions and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. Her lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking, especially for a resort that prides itself on hospitality. The worst part of my interaction with Misty was her outright refusal to address a billing issue I encountered. Instead of resolving the matter, she was rude and condescending, insisting that it was my fault without even attempting to understand the situation. Her behavior was completely unacceptable and left a sour taste in my mouth. I expect much better from a resort of Snow King's caliber. Misty's poor attitude and lack of competence severely detracted from my overall experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the glaring deficiencies in their guest services department. Until then, I would definitely never recommend Snow King Resort to anyone looking for a pleasant and accommodating experience.

Yelp
Gondola Ride. I called the day before and was told they are building a restaurant at the top, however, the Panorama House offers a warm place to enjoy the views and has coffee and hot chocolate, along with some grab and go food. The panorama house was shuttered and appears to be closed for the season. The $60 (for 2) was not worth the ride to the top. There were no signs, or any shelter to get out of the wind. We are from a cold, snowy climate so were dressed for it, and thought the view was nice, but not $60 worth when we were told there was a place at the top to enjoy. Also, if you do choose to take the ride, buy your tickets online and save $5/person and then all you have to do is show them the email at the window and they will print the passes.

Rick S.

Yelp
This is a nice place, a bit pricey for kids activities when you look at the a-la-carte pricing per experience, but I don't know the market value of entertainment in the area compared to what amusement parks and other places may charge. All I can say is... it does add up, and they do have "all access" day passes as an option to not worry about paying over and over for your kid(s) to continue playing, resulting in a huge bill. I'd recommend visiting and checking it out if in the area.

Scott L.

Yelp
Took a trip to the top of the mountain on the gondola during summer. The ride itself was short and the views were nice. However, the listed price online of $30 per person was already expensive and ended up being $35 once we showed up to pay at the gondola. On top of that you had to fill in personal information and sign a waiver online. All in all a lot of effort and money for a 4 minute gondola ride each way. It was fun to do once, but I would not do it again or recommend this to anyone.

Leslie C.

Yelp
The planetarium was amazing! Took our grandson and they answered his questions with pleasure . Great place to see and will definitely come back for the night experience!

Samantha H.

Yelp
First time skiing, long time snowboarder. I've been snowboarding since I was a kid, however I wanted to try skiing for the first time. I signed up for a private lesson and was lucky enough to get Sofia as my instructor. The private lesson is 2.5 hours and mine even went a little over because we were going down the mountain slowly at the end of the lesson, but she never rushed me. She was kind, patient, and great at teaching! I fell a good amount my first day, but she never made me feel bad about it. By my second day I was able to go down trails without falling! Thank you, Sofia. I think I may like skiing more than snowboarding.

Kirby M.

Yelp
Jordan, Savannah, Bryce and Joni were stellar tour guides And super helpful. We had fun and will return in the future!

Laura S.

Yelp
Literally just paid $60 for a gondola ride to a construction site. A few "benches" at the top to sit and enjoy the view listening to saws and backing heavy equipment.

Jordan T.

Yelp
THIS COMPANY IS SHADY! I left a review about my bad experienced and they lied to Yelp to get my review deleted saying my photo "wasn't at the location". Here's proof. Do not pay for ski lessons here. You will not learn anything.

Ryan M.

Yelp
Seems like I should have reads some reviews before spending any money on this gondola ride. The ride to the top was pretty nice, but once you get there, as others have said, everything is shut down and it's just a huge construction site. There was even an outhouse near the restaurant that smelled really foul. When we tried to go into the restaurant, we found out that they were closed for a private event - and of course nobody told us anything about this when we bought our tickets. Save you money and ride the gondola at Teton Village, 100% better and much cheaper!!

Cat L.

Yelp
The bad reviews are all true. The customer service here is horrible and no one really cares about if the resort makes money. The website says they close at 6pm and to double check I called the resort. I called over and over and no one ever answers. So we decided to drive there to double check. When we arrived at the ticket counter, the guy said they close in 10 minutes at 5pm and I asked that since the coaster I wanted to go on was a few steps away, if I could still by tickets. He proceeds to look at his watch and says "we stop selling tickets right now." I guess he could have just had more tact. However, it seemed like he didn't want to sell us the tickets and he arbitrary set a time to stop selling tickets.

Hector I.

Yelp
Great place to go skiing. Good prices and service The mounts was empty it was a great selection

Joe K.

Yelp
Not even close to being worth it for summer activities. Save your money and your time and do something else.

Kristina T.

Yelp
We visited the snow king mountain to ride the gondola. When asked for our names the kid working the ticket counter put "bendover" on my son's ticket. I find this extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

Melissa W.

Yelp
We went on the zipline tour with Megan, Katie and Joni and they did an amazing job making sure everyone was safe and comfortable. We have zip lined many times in Hawaii and Costa Rica and this is a bit different because you have to start and brake by yourself which was not a problem since they provided great instruction beforehand. There are 3 lines, but the 1st line is only a practice line. The 2nd line is the main attraction since it is the steepest line in North America and worth trying if you like zip lining. The tour took over 2.5 hours due mostly to waiting time (but there were gorgeous views during the wait so we didn't mind much). We also rode the cowboy coaster which was really fun and unique. It was a great way to spend a morning.

Jeremy G.

Yelp
Early July of 2023, my family and I witnessed a serious injury on their Alpine Slide. More alarming was that the staff operating the ride had no idea there was accident on their attraction, and one even asked ME if I knew what happened when he retrieved the blood covered ride cart. EVEN MORE ALARMING was that the staff, now knowing there was a serious injury, requiring a 911 call and paramedics, kept the ride open the entire time the poor rider was barely clinging to consciousness while awaiting medical attention. In other words, at no time did they feel they should shut down the ride long enough to investigate the cause of this on going injury. For your own sake, avoid this place. It is just a serious injury waiting to happen. There are better, safer things to do in the area. Be safe! EDIT: In fairness, after the sales clerk refused to refund our tickets after witnessing this awful event (we had been there about 45 min and gotten on 1 ride). The manager did fully refund us (we did wait until she was done dealing with the family of the injured and the paramedics)

Yelp
We had an awesome time on the High Ropes Course at Snow King Mountain Ski Resort on Tuesday. Our guide , Cam was nice, knowledgeable and a very experienced guide. As a Dad in his late 50's , it was great to be able to share this experience with my two daughters that are in their early 20's. We all got through the entire course! Lots of fun and a great workout! Check it out for yourself

Ross H.

Yelp
Took 2 of my kids ziplinging. Beau, Megan, and Katlyn took good care of us. Would recommend and would come back again. 5 stars ! Also did mini golf. Fun course, we enjoyed it. That course needs some TLC though. Landscaping is looking rough and water features not functioning.

Gwen C.

Yelp
What an awesome experience!! My friend & I decided to try zip lining for the first time while staying at the resort. The instructors, Joanie, Ryan & Rylee were soooo kind, helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging and made us feel very safe. These instructors would bout anyone wanting to zip line at ease. They were fun, made it exciting and the love for what the do showed. The zip-line was a blast with beautiful views. I wish I could do it all over again.

Yelp
A decent local ski resort right in the heart of Jackson Hole. Amazing to see the Tetons in the distance from the top of the mountain. Worth skiing just for that view.

Phillip Z.

Yelp
If you're a more active traveler, it doesn't get much more intense than the rope course at Snow King Mountain Resort. We spent about 4 hours on this course -- though, we were stuck behind a very slow family for about 90 percent of the time. In fact, we even laid down to nap at one point. The Treetop Adventure involves a series of obstacles that span between trees, wood poles and wooden platforms. A total of 7 courses are marked -- ranging from easy to downright terrifying/exhausting. I'm not scared of heights; however, I had second thoughts about flinging off a platform into a rope net (with nothing but the ground below). The course remains open during the pandemic with some slight changes to their usual setup. The biggest change is that you're responsible for clipping yourself into the safety equipment. The guides give a thorough demonstration before getting on the course. However, it's up to you to remember it. One of the most challenging parts of the course is climbing straight up a telephone pole. And someone (eh hem, my husband) forgot to clip himself into the safety device that would stop him from plummeting to the ground. He told me this AFTER he completed the course. Otherwise, I would have totally freaked (okay, truth be told, I still freaked out!). You could easily spend an entire day at Snow Mountain Resort. In fact, we suggest purchasing their Big King Pass ($125) that gives you access to the ropes course as well as the Cowboy Coaster and Alpine slide... It also includes mini golf, a scenic chairlift ride with views of the Teton Mountains, and our favorite, the walk through maze. While the maze is more geared towards kids, we still spent nearly an hour inside. And it wasn't because we got stuck inside the very narrow sliding board.

Kim S.

Yelp
We went zip lining today. Most of our group was pretty inexperienced. Our guides, Beau and Katelyn were very patient and made sure everyone was comfortable. It was really fun!

Kristine P.

Yelp
We purchased the snow king lite tickets and after we paid $420 and arrived we were told the alpine slides and trampoline were not available for another week. The cowboy coaster was a blast but even if we road it 25 times it was not worth $420.00. My advice would be to purchase at the site so you know what you're getting for your money.

Emily R.

Yelp
Was waiting for an update with the power outage on Sunday on their FB page, the SKM website, the SKM App, and even called guest services around 2:30, no one answered... there was no update on any platform. We ended up just showing up between 3:30-4 and there was no one in any of the ticket offices or guest services or cafeteria. So it appears it had been closed all day. Unfortunately I pre-purchased tickets (back in December) on the website for Sunday the 29th specifically. Now I am out $$ because there was no communication on the status of the power outage, nor was anyone answering the phone. I tried calling guest services again today prior to my flight, left my name and number, and still no one has responded. I also heard from other guests at our hotel that the coaster is broken, yet they are still selling coaster tickets online. I recommend purchasing your tickets the day of, and not on the website.

Georgie C.

Yelp
I went to experience the zipline as a longtime local to see if it was really worth the hype. I can confidently say that it is all worth the hype due to Chris and Briaunna. They thoroughly explained how to safely and fastly execute the zipline all while being the best tour guides of any kind i have ever had. Live love laugh chris and briaunna.

Whitney M.

Yelp
My family and I went zip lining at Snow King Mountain and it was an amazing experience. The zip lines were super fun and our guides Rob, Ally, and Kaitlyn were incredibly nice and made the experience so amazing. I will definitely be back!!

Ashley F.

Yelp
This place is terrible, it's a complete rip off and a horrible place to ski. Came here with my family, we have previous experience skiing and snowboarding, but are novices. None of the employees running the chair lifts know whats going on with the runs. Went to the gondola and the girl working said there was a green run open, once we got there, all that was open was the magic carpet. Went to the next chair lift, which had a flag that said "experts only"... askEd the girl working there where we could find any runs for beginners and she directed us to the third and final chair lift. Asked the employee there if there were any runs for beginners, to which he said he didn't know, he "hadn't been up there in 2 weeks", and everything he's told "goes in one ear and out the other", but that we'd "be fine, it's an easy mountain". So we gave it a chance and found extremely poor and contradictory signage... small signs stating "easiest" with and arrow pointing to the right, next to a sign that said "closed"...which led to my family going down a black diamond and my 12 year old completely crashing and getting hurt. I tried to find a manager and ended up talking to a sales manager who was more argumentative than helpful. After leaving my name and phone number, the guest services manager called me several hours later and offered me another day of skiing, to which I declined. This mountain sucks and it is not worth the over inflated prices, we basically spent $650 to ski on the magic carpet runs. Not only that, the layout is poor and requires significant walking between multiple parking lots between the 3 chair lifts. We have skied at numerous ski resorts in various states (CA, OR, ID) and have always been able to find runs that were suitable for our skill level. Would not recommend this place and would say pay a little more for the other ski resorts in the area. This place is dangerous and not worth the risk.

Travis B.

Yelp
Wife and I decided to come to Jackson Hole for our honeymoon which we immediately fell in love. Part of our amazing trip was our snowboarding experience on Snow King Mountain, thanks to our instructor Dylan, aka "Pants". If y'all are looking to learn how to snowboard we strongly recommend Snow King and make sure you ask for Pants! Thank you again for making our honeymoon a trip we will never forget. - Travis & Lilly

Amber D.

Yelp
Our group bought tickets for the sledding and we had a fantastic time! It wasn't too busy today, so we were able to do five runs down tubing run in our one hour! So fun!! They have a nice fire pit at the bottom of the run to warm up by if you want to defrost for a minute. Such a fun afternoon:)

Sage D.

Yelp
i've been here now twice for the tree top adventure and it's crazy fun but this time i was disappointed with customer service. we got there 30 minutes early as suggested, made our way to the ticketing booth and then waited in line for a half hour to receive the tickets we already had bought. then the lady at the desk told us they couldn't take us anymore for our allotted time because it had took us the whole suggested 30 minutes to get the tickets. we ended up having to push it back an hour. i love the place but the reasoning was unbelievable

Wilma D.

Yelp
We purchased 15 zipline tickets, 4 tree top adventures and 20 coaster combo tickets for July 19, 2022. When we arrived, we were told that the ZIPLINE was closed...since YESTERDAY. We received no phone call, no email or any communication of any type regarding the cancellation. I then requested for all the activities to be cancelled and they agreed to fully refund all the activities. When we finally arrived home 8 days later, I was able to review the refund invoices and my credit card statement. There is a discrepancy of $570.00. Yes, $570.00 that they insist has been refunded to my credit card. So, I sent them my credit card statements showing all the charges and credits and they still, to this date, claim that I am fully refunded. They asked me to wait until August 3rd as sometimes credits take longer to post. I cancelled EVERYTHING therefore my charges and credits should be ZERO. A full refund means I OWE NOTHING, CREDIT/CHARGE should cancel out to ZERO. Please anyone out there, explain to me why my credit card shows $570.00 in charges when everything was cancelled. IF I COULD RATE THIS COMPANY, IT WOULD BE NO STARS AT ALL. My dispute for $570.00 remains open. I have requested to speak to anyone but all I get are emails. No-one has had the decency to pick up the phone to talk to me. So my dispute continues...$570.00 is due. August 3rd has come and gone and no refund. Soon my credit card will charge interest on this $570.00 and there will be no doubt that I will be demanding reimbursement. Wilma D.

Yelp
We came to Snow King because we had two free days to ski here as a part of our Indy pass. We expected to spend a few hours skiing and just kind of laugh about how silly it was to have such a small resort in Jackson. Instead we spent two full days here. The conditions were great, the staff was super friendly and stoked that we were there. The terrain is definite not super beginner friendly but we had a killer time. Only complaint is how expensive everything is. We took a break to ride the roller coaster and it cost $20 pp for a 10 minute experience. Breakfast was $25 for a basic continental buffet. However aside from the high prices we had a great time. We will save our money and come back!

Casey C.

Yelp
we had a BLAST on the zipline today!! Dan, Katy, and Katlyn did an amazing job with our group today. highly recommend!!!

Sean F.

Yelp
Garbage resort. Slopes suck and are rarely open. Kids working there that could seem to care less about customers and are far from helpful. Grand Targhee is 10x better and cheaper, too. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place at all...

John L.

Yelp
Pass costs more than Disney world. Tourist trap. Just know that going in. Coaster was fine.

Meredith H.

Yelp
What an AWESOME place! It was absolutely beautiful and the staff was super friendly. My friend and I were new to snowboarding and we were able to get a package with a lift ticket, discounted equipment and lessons. Tom, our snowboard instructor made the experience so memorable. My friend picked it up pretty fast but I was a slow learner to say the least haha Tom was very patient with me and taught me so much! He even saw me struggling on the mountain later on in the day and came over to help. What a guy! Can't wait to come back next year!

Becky G.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great activities and a fun way to spend the day. Recommend a day pass instead of single rides, you get much more variety and is less expensive.

Matt B.

Yelp
Great family fun. There is a gravity coaster, a super long slide, ropes course, hiking and more. Best deal is the all you can ride offer which is good from 5-8pm. What makes this more enjoyable is that you can control the speed for both the coaster and the slide You will leave with smiles.

Raoul T.

Yelp
Took my family to Jackson this summer and day 1 was spent at Snow King. The mountain coaster and alpine slide are really fun but the Tree Top ziplining course is probably the best. We made it through the 3rd stage before running our of energy but had a great time. The mini golf, bungy jumping and maze were good fun as well. Then we kicked back with a few beers and burgers from the grill to end the day simply enjoying the beautiful scenery on a lovely July day. Pretty close to a perfect day!

Ryan A.

Yelp
We went for he summer activities and experienced the maze, slide, and the coaster. The activities were great. The maze was challenging but fun. The slide was pretty fun and a good set up for the coaster. The coaster was great, a lot smoother than expected. All of these were enjoyed with an amazing view. That being said, the customer service was horrible. I have worked in customer servicing for 8+ years and the lack of engagement, effort, and knowledge was pretty embarrassing. It started buying the tickets where the manager allowed 2 12-14 year olds lie there way around a waiver requirement that needed parental signature. The kids couldn't even get their birthdays right ... not even birthday month. While we (4 paying adults) waited. When it was our turn, we were overcharged, which we caught. Then we were charged for the wrong activity, all by a summer/kid employee, while the manager just watched. The kid was overwhelmed, but the manager never stepped in. The following interactions were with 16-21 year olds who never made eye contact, never showed personality, and made us all feel like we were wasting there time. There was 1 girl at the coaster station who was nice and showed a personality but that was it. There needs to be some customer servicing training for these kids and better management because the rides were great and if they were paired with good servicing then it would have been a great day.

Dave E.

Yelp
We visited Snow King on Labor Day to ride the Alpine Slides and Alpine Coaster. The Alpine Coaster was closed for maintenance. The employees working the Alpine Slide seemed very put out to load sleds on to the lift so there would be available slides at the top for participants to ride down. The end result of this was over 20 people at the top of the chairlift, waiting for sleds to arrive from the bottom. Keep in mind that we weren't waiting to go down the slide, we were waiting for sleds to arrive. When we got to the bottom of the slide, the two young ladies working to load passengers and sleds on to the lift were just standing around with about 15 to 20 sleds waiting to be loaded, all the while there around the same number at the top waiting for sleds. My wife indicated that there were people waiting for sleds and offered to help load her just used sled, since it seemed to be too much for the employees to do. As she approached the lift, one of the three workers "fixing" the Alpine Coaster came over to tell her that she needed to put the sled down. She explained the situation up top, he said they were understaffed and then went back to sitting with the two others "fixing" the Alpine Coaster. Lucky for us we were buying single ride passes. There were others waiting that had purchased unlimited passes, that were certainly limited by the lack of sled availability.

R. M.

Yelp
Took the kids to ride the cowboy coaster and was underwhelmed by the exchange with staff made up of late teens. The first person we talked to about the ride seemed irritated we didn't know everything about it before coming. No smiles just mad at having to work here. It is $20 per ride and my kids said it was just ok lasting about two minutes down the hill. The cafe offers burgers and drinks at the customary inflated tourist pricing. Three burgers, one kids burger and order of fries $48. Bathrooms were ok.
