This place is terrible, it's a complete rip off and a horrible place to ski. Came here with my family, we have previous experience skiing and snowboarding, but are novices. None of the employees running the chair lifts know whats going on with the runs. Went to the gondola and the girl working said there was a green run open, once we got there, all that was open was the magic carpet. Went to the next chair lift, which had a flag that said "experts only"... askEd the girl working there where we could find any runs for beginners and she directed us to the third and final chair lift. Asked the employee there if there were any runs for beginners, to which he said he didn't know, he "hadn't been up there in 2 weeks", and everything he's told "goes in one ear and out the other", but that we'd "be fine, it's an easy mountain". So we gave it a chance and found extremely poor and contradictory signage... small signs stating "easiest" with and arrow pointing to the right, next to a sign that said "closed"...which led to my family going down a black diamond and my 12 year old completely crashing and getting hurt. I tried to find a manager and ended up talking to a sales manager who was more argumentative than helpful. After leaving my name and phone number, the guest services manager called me several hours later and offered me another day of skiing, to which I declined. This mountain sucks and it is not worth the over inflated prices, we basically spent $650 to ski on the magic carpet runs. Not only that, the layout is poor and requires significant walking between multiple parking lots between the 3 chair lifts. We have skied at numerous ski resorts in various states (CA, OR, ID) and have always been able to find runs that were suitable for our skill level. Would not recommend this place and would say pay a little more for the other ski resorts in the area. This place is dangerous and not worth the risk.
