It was such an easy breezy lunch at the Cowboys Club! Lots to choose from across the menu, open to members and non-members, although I recommend joining if you aren't a reciprocal member at another club so you can get your discount!! It's very easy to book online, and the staff are super helpful if you have a special celebration you are organising and dropping off decorations, cakes etc.

Was charged $9.90 for a pork and gravy roll which looked like it was put together by children and was put through a sandwich press not real great value for $9.90 first time for everything and will definitely be the last poor effort cowboys leagues club.

Asked for Malaysian satay with noodles. Disappointing to say the least, this had no flavour and it was so spicy I couldn't finish it all. Not to mention there was no spice rating when ordering/looking on the menu. The beans were also too crunchy and big, I had to cut them before eating them, or just pick them up with my fingers.

A Night of Disappointment at Cowboys Leagues Club Our recent experience at Cowboys Leagues Club was nothing short of disastrous, and it's an experience that I feel compelled to share to spare others from a similar fate. We booked a week in advance for a group of 16, expecting a smooth dining experience. Instead, we were met with a series of disappointments that culminated in a meal that was, frankly, shocking. Upon arrival, we found that our group was split across two separate tables, despite the booking. The initial confusion over simple items like garlic bread, which arrived dry and unappetizing, should have been a warning sign. The main courses were a complete letdown. The steaks were burnt and the salads were inedible. The fish, however, was the biggest offender. It was so bad that we had received a refund for one of the fish dishes, but that is not the point of this review. Despite warnings from locals, we decided to give Cowboys Leagues Club a chance, only to be met with profound disappointment. This experience has left a lasting impression on our group. It's safe to say that the 16 of us will not be returning to Cowboys Leagues Club.

Have had a couple of meals at Cowboys’ Cub on my recent Townsville visit and the food and service are fantastic. We had fish tacos and Mediterranean pancakes which were delicious. I must congratulate Annette on her excellent customer service. She is super competent and manages to make everyone feel welcome (in a totally personal way) as well as organising tables and supervising/training team members. What a tremendous asset Annette is to Cowboys as well as a totally customer focused team of workers in various roles. Thank you Annette, the reception, bar, wait staff and the chefs.

The club is interesting. They have a bit of everything for everyone. Food, trivia, lucky draw, sports, bar, 2x restaurants, slot machines, kids play area etc The food is decent 90% of the time. There are occasions when they are either too busy or something then the food quality decrease a bit. The club classic meals are awesome. The pork knuckle is a must try 🤤👍 They have kids eat free (one kid meal free for every adult meal) Sunday (at Star Graze) and Monday (at Match). There are other deals for each day of the week. You may want to check it out on their websites. They also have several different dishes of the month and chef meal of the month etc They have plenty of car park and you can get the ticket validated if the boom gate is still down when you are leaving. Will need driver license if you are not a member. Things that could be better: - Coffee not great, needs better bean at the minimum. Even hot chocolate not great either. - The chicken wings at Star Graze a bit hit be miss. I think occasionally they are not steam before frying so they come out bone dry.

Yelp
Good food and reasonably priced drinks Sunday night is steak night at the Club which means that you can get any steak on the menu for $20 - if you are a member. My husband paid $2 for a temporary 1 month membership and we each ordered a 300g rib eye for dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was super tender and tasty. The drinks were also very reasonably priced!!

Yelp
The Cowboys is ok. Typical clubland these days, full of pokies and a massive dining room. Great TAB area, but the poor ole drinker gets left out, no real "drinking" area to speak of. Not much in the way of toilet facilities either considering the size of the club. Well overdue for an upgrade.

Yelp
this business is good for most people BUT I seem to get the short straw I ordered a toasted sandwich my meal came out looking not cooked so I asked for it to be redone -it came back with hot bread -it was virtually not fit to eat second try months later - almost the same deal I feel for me all I can eat is chips or cake I will not eat there anymore

Yelp
Very average but ok. Felt the prices were not clearly stated. As a non member was not entitled to their Tuesday special but the print of this info was so small couldn't even see it. Maybe not a big deal but I was annoyed.
