Three of us stopped here for lunch. Casual, cozy place. The server was friendly, shout out to her, but she never mentioned her name. The food was really good. Sweet potato corn soup was outstanding. Turkey bacon sandwich was flavorful. Breakfast burrito was "the best I've ever had," said my dining companion. If you're in the area, it's a great place to stop in for reasonably priced excellent food when you just want to chill for a meal.

Great Prices & Friendly Service The Coyote is a fantastic option for an affordable meal in Banff, which is a rarity in this area! The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the usual cost of dining in town. On top of that, the staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the experience feel warm and inviting. That said, the food itself was just a little bland—not bad, but lacking the bold flavors you might want. The menu also feels a bit uncertain in its identity—while it seems to aim for fusion, the dishes don’t necessarily come together in a cohesive way. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot with great service, The Coyote is much worth a visit. Just don’t expect anything particularly fancy. Though I'm not sure that's what they're aiming for!

Found this Gem for the breakfast. Its so cozy and warm ambience. The food is amazingly satisfying. The presentation and aromas are just so as per taste. Its for sure the hidden Gem. Service is top notch.

All the food was very tasty and fresh! We went there for lunch and we love it so much that we went there again for dinner😀 The only downside of this place is the salad portions are too small, Really too small. Tha salad plates are only a couple of bites. They should give bigger bowl Salads.

Lovely place recommended to us by the staff at the Canoe Inn. Great choice, we had breakfast mid week. Excellent menu selection, food delicious. We tried the Mount Rundle breakfast and the Eggs Benny with strip bacon. Delicious couldn't fault the food. All the staff were lovely and it's good to see the grill chefs at work while you eat! Will come again before we leave Banff :-)

Stopped in with my husband and enjoyed their winter nights dinner special. What an amazing value for a ton of delicious food! I had the sweet potato and corn chowder, pulled pork enchiladas and warm chocolate cake. Needless to say I ate too much, but that was my problem! My husband had the warm greens with goat cheese, the flank steak with veggies and warm chocolate cake, with a local pint. Service was excellent, food was hot, fresh and full of flavour. Nice, quiet atmosphere. We’ll be back for sure!

We wanted to eat at the restaurant next door but they weren't able to seat us, that turned out to be a good thing. Their staff were courteous, and we were seated immediately. My man had the eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and I had the pancakes with strawberries, fruit compote, and a side of bacon. The portions were definitely generous, I couldn't eat it all. Loved the food, but pancakes were tepid, could have been because of the fruit on top. The service was perfect, and they were very helpful with hiking tips! I loved the southwest vibe decor. They also have quite a wine selection in the back of the restaurant. I would definitely go back if I was in town. They are located to the left of the really popular restaurant with the name I can't remember. 🤣 Check it out! 💗

Dinner and breakfast We booked here before we left the UK. We had a table in one of the bay windows. We ordered the pan seared fish tacos and had one each. The tortillas were soft and difficult to eat with our fingers but was tasty. For mains, I chose the smoked chicken penne and my hubby had the prawn and goat’s cheese enchiladas. I’m not sure what happened but my meal was slightly spicy. I did ask if there was chilli in the meal as this is not listed on the menu but the server couldn’t answer the question. The spicy issue aside, the meal was good and I did finish it. My husband said his meal was good too. We also came here for breakfast the following morning before hitting the road to Lake Louise. We had the usual eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Good portion size and well cooked. Total bill with tips $130, £80 for dinner and $43, £26 for breakfast
